Lately, I've been noticing that I have to charge my 9780 more often than I did when I first got it. Just wondering how long your battery will typically last on average.
View 1 Replies View RelatedMy only concern is the battery. I'm not exactly what you would call a heavy user but usually look for about 3-4 hours screen time on an average. Mostly done by browsing the web, social media, A LOT of texting, a few YouTube videos and some Bluetooth streaming with my car AND my Moto 360.
So this things got a 3900 mah battery yet why does it feel closer to 2800. I understand that the device does have the higher resolution display and whatnot but do people not realize this thing has a 3900 MAH BATTERY?! Shouldn't that blow everything else out of the water? Like not even be close to any other phone. I switch between a Note 4 and the Turbo and I can get more screen on time with the Note 4 (5.5-6.5). Keep in the mind the Note 4 only has a 3250 battery (I think) and the same resolution display yet it's much larger. AND it runs touchwiz, something that destroys battery life.
So lets have a poll of some sort. As soon as you unplug your phone at 100% charge, what is the average and immediate stand by time. I'll go first. Mine says: 1 day and 3 hours.
View 24 Replies View RelatedWhat is the average battery life time if you listen to FM radio (with earset and moderate volume). In some GSM specification its written "20 to 37 hours if you listen to music...." .Is this MP3 music listening or is this FM radio listening also ? (I mean "classic" FM radio NOT streaming radio !!!).I'm looking for a GSM that I can use as "walkman" (FM radio only !) during several hours a day without loosing too many battery power so that I still can use the GSM for making calls.....

This is not right at all. Help is fully appreciated.

Quick question for anyone with the Curve 8530! What is the average time you get out of the battery? Mine is brand new, I turned Wifi off but I do SMS quite a bit. I'm getting about 1 to 1 1/2 days out of the battery. Just wondering if this is normal.
View 14 Replies View RelatedFirstly, I want to state how extremely impressed I am with the Amaze, both in its construction quality, its wonderful screen, very good normal use battery life, and its generally sophisticated and flawless operation. I am very satisfied with my choice. One of the very few problems I have had, is that occasionally, whilst still in city zones with good service, the phone will lose cellular signal, then run the battery flat much more rapidly than usual whilst trying to re-establish service. My first indication of the problem is when I find the phone dead, when it should still have say 80% charge. Remedy is to switch off & pull battery
Has anyone had similar experience?I recommend an audible warning when cellular service is lost, so that user can take remedial action before battery goes flat, and so that important incoming calls are not lost. This should be an easily programmable feature for next update.
I gave my sister my old curve its about 1 1/2 yrs old. the day i gave it to her the phone worked just fine but after she flew back home the battery would only last her a few minutes. i told her to try a new battery but it still has not changed anything. i even got her to upgrade to 5.0 just to see if it would make any difference but it doesnt.
she barely uses any apps, and mostly uses the phone for emailing.on standby it will every 10minutes or so the battery life will go down by 10%, and after a few texts or a minute or two on a call the phone will just die. she can pretty much just use it when its connected to a power source.Seems like a phone issue but there is no warranty on it
I have a user with a E72. It has the most up to date firmware. The user is finding that the battery does not last very long. By mid day the phone is almost out of life. He is not making lots of calls. Life goes while on standby. We have also brought a new battery, still has the problem. The battery is a genuine Nokia battery.

My iphone was working well and one day it started to drain really really fast. almost 1% per 3 minutes, without using any app. I've done everything i have to do to improve my battery life:Touch ID, Location Services, Notifications, Background App,Brightness All of them disabled. So , i made every kind of restore that exists (network settings, without any Security or Icloud copy). I've disabled my Icloud Account too. and the problem persists, i really dont know what to do.Â
I bought my Iphone 5S, in December 2013, so i cannot imagine that my battery drain in that way. In 4 hours , i have to charge it again, with a minimal use.

Since updating my Iphone 4S to 5.1.1. I lose about 2% of battery every 5 minutes. Before I updated I could go the whole day without a charge. Now I must leave it plugged in at my desk all day. I double click the home button and close out apps when I'm done, so I have nothing running in the background.

My iPhone battery looses 1% every 2 minutes so I'm wondering if that's normal? I've only used for 3 hours and 1 min and I'm at 44%. Is this normal? And if not how do I fix it to improve battery life. I only users my phone to txt and go Facebook that's about it.

My iPhone lost almost 10% of battery in about 35 minutes while I was listening to music. All of my apps were closed and my phone was locked. This has happened a few times. Shouldn't it have lost 0%-2% instead? My phone even loses around 3%-4% at night when I'm sleeping but I only use the timer to wake up at a certain time. All the other apps are closed. I've turned off the unimportant features in settings but it's still losing battery. Should I just get a new phone?

View 3 Replies View RelatedSo my Sprint Blackberry Tour 9630 takes on average 13-15 minutes with a battery pull reset. I love the phone, and have no complaints about it except for this issue. I've had plenty of blackberries and this is taking the longest. I have no clue as to why it takes so long - I dont have any apps really installed, and no pictures/music, etc. loaded.
Anyone have any thoughts or ideas how I can make it run faster? This is the stats of my phone:
