husband and my bb's have began a constantly reboot. Both our bold and our torch reboot.over and over ..it will not stop! Our phones stay on for not even10 seconds before doing yet again another reboot. what we can do? if it was just one of our phones.
View 3 Repliesmy blackberry was dropped in the water, and i did everything i could do to dry it, and now the LED will stay on then off and again on then off, meaning that it flashes but with a long sequence.
so i know that i should try installing a new OS, which I did. but it comes to the point (waiting for initialization) and the phone should boot up, but all it does is that it flashes the LED with the same sequence again as if i did nothing
Have just got my new X6 and its great except that i am having problems with my connection to my bluetooth car kit. It connects fine and has paired with it but it seems to disconnecting every 25 seconds or so and then reconnecting 25 seconds later. Its driving me bananas cos each time it does it the radio cuts out. If i am on a call it seems to keep connection. I fell i may have missed a setting somewhere but cant find anything about this.
View 5 Replies View RelatedThe apple logo appears for 5 seconds then disappears for 10 then appears for five and so on. I can get it to the connect to iTunes screen but as soon as I unplug it from the wall it shuts off completely. A laptop with iTunes isn't enough to power it up.

I have a blackberry bold 9780 and i have a problem. In de menu of the icons who indicate you have a message. When i go to that menu there are staying request of BB messenger, they stay there after the acceptation and i cann not remove them.
View 1 Replies View RelatedIs the red LED supposed to be ON while the Bold is charging?I just got the Bold and when the phone is on, and I plug it to the wall charger, there is a lightening bolt on the battery icon so I know it is charging, however, there is no red LED.
I used to have a Bold about 6 months ago, then switched phones, and I'm now back on the Bold. I could've sworn when I had the Bold last time, that there was a red LED ON when I charged the phone. Now I don't see it.
Was I just imagining things? Or maybe it was a different OS version? I'm on 4.6. (I think when I was on the Bold last time, I was on OS 5.0.

View 3 Replies View RelatedI recently upgraded from a Bold to a Bold 9900 and gave the old phone to my son, having first backed up all data, memos, addresses etc on the PC and erased everything from my old phone. When I restored my data on to my new phone a few days later it brought all his BBM chat contacts and messages (which he had loaded on to the Bold)on to my phone and wiped the corresponding entries from his phone.Clearly I copied and restored some ID wrongly, with the result that his BBM messages are being directed to my new phone.
View 6 Replies View RelatedI have just upgraded to a 9900 Bold and am experiencing problems staying connected to my wireless network at home. Basically I added the wifi profile and it connected fine then after a while it loses the connection and when I try to reconnect it says failed to authenticate against the network. I tried rebooting my wireless router (Netgear Super Hub from virgin media) and it connects again only for the same thing to happen again after 20 mins. It used to work fine with my old 9700 bold.

I factory reset my unlocked bb bold and signed it up for a telus plan but now everything except the data works and telus said the data does not work because resetting the phone locked it again. But if the phone is locked again then why can i still make calls and texts? shouldn't the phone not work at all on their network?

View 1 Replies View RelatedI have the BB Bold 9650 with Sprint and have the worst service in the world. My son has the Style and also has poor service. Our phones were not receiving calls, texts or anything when we are at home. Sprint sent us an Airwave so that the signal would be improved. The calls and texts have somewhat improved but not completely rectified. More annoying than that is this noice my phone makes not like a beeping noise but like maybe a signal fade noise if that helps any. I have asked Sprint about it and they said it is the network connecting and then dropping. But I cannot be the only person in the world that has the issue. Is there anyway to stop it? I was wondering if I connected by BB to my home wi-fi if that would resolve the problem. Please help, I hate my phone and service. Our phones have been replaced at 3 times this year alone.

View 4 Replies View RelatedI've had my AT&T Blackberry Bold 9700 since November of 2009 and am just experiencing this problem. My device is set so the back light goes off after 20 seconds. Whenever I put it down or lock it, the back light goes off just as it should. But, within 5-10 minutes, it turns back on without provocation and won't shut off again until I unlock and re-lock the phone.
As you can imagine, this is killing my battery life. I've tried playing with the settings, but nothing seems to do the trick. I've rebooted several times and removed the battery twice, but neither has worked. Anyone encounter this issue and/or have any suggestions on how to fix it?
On my brother's 9700, he's experienced two random shut downs. He's with Rogers and has the latest OS installed (.743). He would notice that sometimes the phone sort of shuts off by itself. Normally he would keep the phone on standby or lock, but when he'd go to unlock the phone, he'd notice that none of the keys work (screen remains black). Normally the screen would light up and say that the phone is locked, but this doesn't happen. Then, he would hold down the End key for a couple of seconds to power up the phone, only the phone doesn't boot up from scratch. Instead, the Rogers splash screen would appear and it would go directly to his home screen. The phone is only about a week old and is brand new (not refurbished). Is there some sort of lock/standby feature that I'm unaware of that his phone is going into? Has anyone else experienced this?

View 9 Replies View RelatedUsing Bold 9700 Ver # 6.0.0.461 Running updated version of Blackberry Desktop Manager 6.0.1 with Windows 7 and Outlook 2003 with SP3. Use agenda view for calendar, tried the "Show free time in Agenda View" but didn't like it so unclicked it and now, when I open my calendar; the current appts show for a couple of seconds, then it jumps to my last appts in 2014. If I check the free time box again and try to open my calendar it doesn't jump ahead. If I uncheck it again, it jumps ahead again. I've tried turning it off and taking the battery out but doesn't work. The local Telus store never heard of it before.

View 4 Replies View RelatedI have the device set up for "Bedside Mode" when charging (sits in the OEM dock at night). I left the device "on" and placed in the dock. The keyboard light, screen all dim as they should and the "clock" displays on screen as well. Then after about 20 sec the keyboard buttons all turn on and the screen brightens up. A couple of sec's later they all dim back down. This process repeats itself over and over like the damn thing has a heartbeat or something! I don't recall this doing this the first two nights that I used the new dock/bedside mode.
