my blackeberry bold had very low battery last night and i put it on charging before going to sleep when i woke up i saw it was off and it wont turn on again....maybe the charger's wire had been pulled and it discharged. now wehn i insert the battery into it the red light turns on for 60 seconds and then goes off....my phone wont charge or turn on.

The battery was completely charged before I went to sleep so I didn't leave it on the charger. When I found that it was dead I put it on the charger but it shows no signs of charging. The red light came on once when I first connected it and never again after that. I had to use a friends old blackberry battery to get it working the day before but now his battery is in the same condition.

Removing the battery for 1 minute and then trying to charge it results in the red charging light coming on for 10 seconds or so and then the phone goes dead (i.e does not charge any more). The battery is good; I verified it on another BB.

My Windows Mobile device gets a full charge in 1/4th that time. Same with my DSLR camera. Is there something wrong with my battery?
This is the 2nd blackberry iv had with this problem.. The phone ran out of charge so when I put it on charge and went to turn it on nothing happened. I removed the battery to reset it and now a red LCD light is flashing and the phone starts to turn on you know when you first turn it on and it says blackberry then the line starts to load it just keeps doing that! I can't go to my network provider at the moment because im in Australia!

Once again my charging problems are back! It must be my battery because I have done a batttery pull and still its not charging properly! It shows the charging signal as tho it is charger but the battery never moves I have never seen anything like this! Looks like I'm goin to have to buy a whole new battery.
View 4 Replies View RelatedI am posting this thread for a friend who is having some serious issues with her BB 9700. It is a phone that was purchased from TMOBILE that was unlocked so that she can use with her Service provider. During this week gone, she plugged her bb into her PC and an error came up. the PC asked if to fix the error or contnue without scanning. She selected the latter. Then yesterday, when she plugged her phone in to charge it immediately shut off. After putting it back on she plugged it in again to charge and the same thing happened again. Since then, she is unable open her pictures in her media folder- She can only preview it.Also when she tries to send a picture via BBM she only sees two of the pictures that she has on her phone and is unable to select any of them to send to a contact.She also isn't able to change her profile picture in BBM.She has done countless battery pulls and the issues stated still exists. she was however able to charge her phone without it shutting down this morning. But all other issues mentioned still exists.She is running the OS that came with her Phone 5.0.0.330. She had an issue with her Phone previously and when she took it into our service provider they had to downgrade her OS back to stock for it to function properly.If anyone has any solution to the problems stated please reply to this post. Any help would be deeply appreciated. If anyone has had a similar problem and was able to fix it please let me know what u did. Also if anyone has any solutions that they think may help please let me know.
View 7 Replies View RelatedMy phone charges sooooooo slow when I plug it into the USB on my computer with the data cable. It takes a couple of hours to go from low to 50%. This just started happening and.
It doesn't appear that anything is wrong with the cable - I've only used it a few times. A lightning bolt is appearing and it is charging for sure. It hasn't always done this - or at least I don't thinks so. I've backed up and restored data on my desktop through the USB without a problem.
I have a Bold 9700 recently bought about 4 days ago... At first all the communication channels works fine i.e. Mobile Network, Wifi and Bluetooth. Suddenly this morning the wifi stop working. I'm unable to switch the wifi on even clicking on it many times. Tried to turn off the device and remove the battery for about a minute and still the problem is not solved.

Everything was working fine up until Saturday, charging 1 minute then the next nothing, tried wall charger, car charger and also through the computer...nothing . This is the message the phone displays "The charging source connected to your Blackberry device cannot charge your battery."
The lightning icon is there but the battery level does not increase.I cant downgrade the OS since the computer doesnot recognize the device, I constantly get an error message. "Usb device has malfunctioned."
I turned my BB off about 20 hours ago. When I tried to turn it on just now, it would not turn on! I tried removing the battery for a few seconds, and when I put it back in the LED glowed red, but then it turned off, and the deivice still will not turn on.
Can anything be done, short of throwing it in the river? Having acquired a Galaxy Tablet, I'm thinking I need to ditch the BB for an Android-based phone.

The camera was being a little funny and won't zoom so I switched off my phone and took out the battery and replaced it to try and reboot the phone. Now it won't turn on.When the battery is in the Red LED light at the top right corner lights up then goes off when the Phone starts up showing the BLACKBERRY Logo on the screen with the Loading Bar underneath. The bar then shows that it is loading but almost immediately it crashes and switches off. It does this repeatedly though I've tried removing and replacing the battery several times.
I'm sure it is not a problem with the battery as I had only charged it the previous night and even tried using another battery from my friends Blackberry just to double check but the phone continues to repeatedly turn on, crash, turn off.
So i came off my phone 1am & everything was cool, during the night i noticed it seemed to be booting up as if it had been battery pulled. When i got up it was still doing this but the progress bar gets a quarter of the way then the screen goes blank & it starts again. It has now been about 8 hours & its STILL doing this. Whats going on & how can i get my phone working again?

View 7 Replies View Related9700 Blackberry decided to turn itself off as it was plugged into the charger. Now it won't turn on fully. It gets 2/3rds of the way along the horizontal loading line then turns off . Red light comes on for a few seconds then the phone tries to start again and the process repeats. I've removed battery and sim but doesn't change anything.
