can someone tell me if you are reffering to downloaded material or online browsing like Internet because Internet is muffled and vid quality is worse than my parents first tv which is in my room. great phone just Internet sucks for me, any solutions? on wifi too, great internet.

I am so looking forward to exploring everything about this device. I thinkg I will wait a little while befor I install OS 5.0. I am coming from a Curve 8310 so this device is bound to be a vast improvement. I want to download a couple of apps. that might be beneficial to me. I did try to download theweather eye beta from pelmorex, but I was unsuccessful on my curve. If anyone has any suggestions as to useful apps, feel free to respond.

View 6 Replies View RelatedI watched part of the browser comparison vid that compared the 9700 to the Torch, iPhone 4 and Samsung Vibrant, and that 9700 was not a good comparison as its memory was bogged down IMO. Mine loads pages about ten times faster than the one in that vid did. Faster than all those phones, at least it seemed that way. Maybe I can find people with them and compare side by side that way.

Now, why is it that sometimes vids record in HQ (according to the playback quality, and what facebook calls it) and then sometimes it just shows standard quality. it's weird. Ever since updating my OS to version 6.x from 5x OS I can no longer open a mms with a pic/video and sound bite simultaneously. i.e. If someone sends a video with sound file or a picture with sound file, it used to open simultaneously. Now it only shows as a separate pic/vid to open and separate sound file to open. It used to work before the upgrade and no longer works. I tried every which I can to change setting on my phone but no matter what it always separates the file.

My xperia ray has good sound quality on the external speaker regarding hights. Female voices for example sound fine. But on a good headphone (i use the beyerdynamic DTX 101 IE and tried others) heights quality is sub-par. Now i am wondering, did Sony use bad hardware here or bad software? Is there any chance this can be fixed with an update?I really like the phone but this bothers me a bit especially as the phone plainly has the technology to recreate the sound adequately (the speaker works fine).

The sound of c6-00 is so worst that i need to check my cell after avery few mins to knw my calls & sms.. Earlier i was using n73 which had no such problems.. Unfortunately i lost it somehow which lead me to buy c6-00 but now i m having a worst time while using the cell... i've had my iphone 4s for about half a year now and the sound coming out of the built-in speaker has been working fine until today. i didn't do anything out of the ordinary. i just opened up a video from Internet and noticed the sound was considerably less clear than usual. when i use earphones, the sound is crystal clear but when it comes out of the speaker, it's very scratchy and fuzzy. earlier today it was working fine. rebooting my iphone didn't help. i don't know if it's a firmware problem as i updated to 5.1.1 as soon as it was availible.
