Does anyone know where to buy good quality accessories for the HD2. I know it's a new phone and all but Ebay seems to be the only place I can find.If anyone has suggestions for cases and or screen protectors please advise.

I am having some problems especially with the camera. Before the C902 I had a W580i and I swear that the picture quality was way better on that phone that it is on the C902.Also the menus load kind of slow. Do you think that the firmware I am running is the cause of all this mischief?

Then i got a new one, and within the month the same problem arose, first the right ear died on me then the left one. Seems like it happens in the cord after the point you put it in the phone.My use of the phone is rather normal, not storing the headset in tight spots, usually on my desk.

When I use Windows Media player the audio quality is great, but whenever I use a VOIP application (e.g. Lync), the playback and microphone quality are terrible and I reportedly sound like I am in a tunnel.

I understand that FW v40 has introduced some new features like kinetic srolling etc. But also it removed appointments/todo lists from Home screen! What else it improved? Did it fix shortcut disappearing after USB disconnect? Or phone hanging on restart unless memory card taken out?

The new features of iPhone 4 don't interest me; I think the older iPhone 3GS is fine for my needs, but I want more than 8 GB, ideally 32 GB. Also, I want a new one, not a used one. My question is should I buy one now (while they are still officially listed for $199) or will they go on sale when the 4 comes out? Or will they disappear from the market and I'll have missed my chance?
View 24 Replies View RelatedI was considering buying an iPhone but I'm a little hesitant because I think Apple may be updating it very soon. Do you think now is a good time to buy? From what I can gather, there's a good chance it will be updated in around June/July like it usually has been. My biggest concern, though, is that when Apple does a major update to the firmware (software?), will a current 3GS be able to update to it as well? Hardware changes seem less important to me because while there are bound to be some changes, overall, most things will probably remain similar. Things like an OLED would be nice, but not as important to me... I don't believe they will add much power to the device because new apps would come out requiring more power, and older iPhone owners may not be able to use them.
Also, while some amazing Android phones are sure to come out this year, I can't keep waiting for them. I would probably choose the Google Nexus One over the iPhone, but it will probably still be some time before it comes to Canada (and probably only WIND Mobile will get it.) As long as the iPhone can keep matching Android's features via firmware updates, I wouldn't mind hanging onto the 3GS when the new iPhone comes out.
Those are my thoughts, what do you guys think?
If i had the money to buy an iPad id want to put it into my dashboard of my car. That would have been a better idea for apple to market the iPad. That way you can have a music player, gps, maps, watch videos, not sure what else but on a big screen like that in the car would be nice. I think iphone and ipod touch are too small to use in the car. I dont know why apple didnt think of doing this in the first place. Be able to put it and detatch it from the dashboard cuz you wouldnt wanna leave it in the car. Another good thing to use it as would be like an mpc with intua beatmaker app if you make music. It would be way cheaper than buying an mpc. What would be some other good uses for it?

I was almost decided on 16GB till my friends told me that 5 megapixel photos will be much larger than 2 megapixel ones. Also HD video will be large. I am only using 5GB out of my 8GB phone now. I have 3GB of music and about 600 pictures on my phone. And yes about 150 applications. I don't need movies or TV shows. So just for Higher resolution pics and video, do I need 32GB over 16GB?

The PH itself is nice , but the service plans sucks big time in India.b. the minimum Rs 299 plan does not let you operate your browser or other apps , for the same price on a Nokia one can can a do a lot more and now push email , that BB prides itself for is available on most Nokia via NOkia messaging service FOR FREE or Gmail instant mail service .c.I feel in RS 299 plan BB should allow minimum 3 MB of data usage on top of it any further usage should be charged at 5 paisa for 10 kb, so ppl can use apps like Facebook etc on the device.d. India is a price conscious mkt with restrictions like these you will loose customers to Nokia who is king supreme in India and upcoming Android devices who believes in Freedom and choice.e. dont tread Apples path in India , they are a big flop in India for the same reasons.f. Lastly , release of new OS like 5.0 has not touched india , the highly sold devices in India such as 8900 and bold . Speak to your lazy partners like Airtel and Vodafone to update the OS on their system , where as Vodafone UK, Spain is on OS5.0 since dec 09.
Also am planning to get rid of mine BB as soon as Motorola Milestone touches Indian shores (Feb end or March 2010).As i don't see any hope BIS will see any improvements..

Most of my camera use is to take a pictures of my kids.The problem is that I don't success to get a good pictures because the kids I always in movement and the Canberra doesn't focus on them well.I tried to set the shutter speed to be faster but the I get a darkness pictures.Why there is no modes like Nature,sport,kids,etc and the camera will set the values automatically due the selection mode? ( I had this feature in my android devices).
