Asha 30/40 Series :: How To Change Text Messaging Favourite
Dec 29, 2012
Okay so my problem is that I don't know how to change the favourite text message contact, the one that pops up when you've written your message and are about to send it, in order: "Contacts", "Favourite", "Last used", "Number or email" etc.
The problem is, it isn't one of the favourites that you can add to the widget on the opening screen. If I have the fave widget on my screen, they're all empty.
Anyone know how and where I could change this contact or remove the fave alltogether?
I have a simple Nokia phone. It's a very good phone. It's a 2690 model. In Contacts there is a option called "My Numbers" that list my own number. But it displays a wrong number that it's not my number. I cannot find an option to change it. It only displays the number and doesn't show an option to change it.
Does anyone know how to update/change or delete it? Can I do it using PC Suite or Ovi Suite?
I have the opportunity to change from a 6120 to a 2730. I don't understand all of the technical specifications pertaining to phones - does a 2730 have more or fewer features than a 6120 ?
I am needing 3g coverage, music player (with adequate memory) software that interfaces with Lotus Notes, and maps/navigation.
OK so I realise that I have been a numpty but when I first switched the phone on I managed to select Portuguese instead of English and I can't see how to change the device lanuguage back to English in my user guide, only instructions on 'write text language' - is this what I want and if it is as I don't speak Portuguese I am struggling to select 'Options' and then 'writing language'.! I have already tried Vodafone online troubleshooting site but no joy and no joy on You Tube either. Can't believe I am the only person to make this mistake
When I send an SMS to my friend overseas from my Nokia E73, she always doesn't recieve my full sms. I write about 5 to 6 lines, they all seem to be sent but my friend only recieves 2 or 3 lines
How do I view and change email settings on the 2330 Classic? I can only find ways to create and delete mailboxes. It would be hard work going that route to make a small change.
I have a Nokia 6303i and i tried so many themes that have a media player and radio skin, and they just don't work. When I apply the theme and try to open the media player/radio i don't see the new skin. I only get a black screen with a clock in the top right corner. I've tried the same themes on my friend's nokia 6303 classic and they work.
My phone has not received at least two incoming text messages, what can I do to fix this. The phone was an outright purchase & I've used my existing SIM card & mobile number.
During messaging, let's say if I choose a wrong word suggested earlier, how do I go back and change to select another? In my old Nokia 3120 Classic, I can moved back to the word and it would then be underlined and I can press the * key to select another suggested word.
I want to take field notes on Asha 311 (notes will be larger than text messages). Is there a text editor to create, edit, and read text files? Can .txt files be synchronized with the .txt files on my PC?
I've got a Nokia 2730 classic. It is set to "Silent" on the display so it vibrates on receiving a text message which is what I want it to do. However it also still bleeps twice. How do I turn off this additional bleep so that "silent" actually means "silent"?!!
I've just registered on here after searching for a similar issue without luck, so apologies if I've missed a thread!Carried out the 2.1 upgrade the other night, and since then whenever I write a text message, the suggested word box only gives me words from my contacts list. e.g. if I write "to" the phone suggest "Tommy" and I then need to manually select "to" from the list of words.
It makes no difference whether I have the spellcheck set to auto, manual or off I get the same suggested list - it's as if the phone has lost its dictionary, and can only use the contacts list as a point of reference.
I dont like the conversation set up in in text messaging, is there anyway you can change the settings to just show the messages instead of being grouped as a conversation?
How do I change the default text color in messaging on a Nuron 5230?If that cannot be done in settings, can it be done with a theme? What is required to make themes, and/or edit them?
know if the Asha 302 auto keylock feature have the option to ask for a security code to unlock?( I am considering the Asha 302 to replace the C3-00 which does not have this option. My old ( low cost) 1616 has this security feature.)
My 5800 displays a text (SMS) with the senders name in dark red on a black background - which I simply cannot read. How do I:1. Change the colour of this text so that I can read it2. Increase the font size which will help a little.
