View 11 Replies View Relatedi have problem in restoring data i backed up before upgrading the firmware from 4.62 to latest 7.23 and managing a full restore of my quite old supernova 7210, as i wasn't able to let nokia pc suite recognizing the phone (error every time i plug the phone).i created an internal nokia backup file (NBF) with messages, calendar, settings and contacts.i updated the firmware and now i'm trying to restore everything i need.now the issue: i'm able to restore "contacts", "settings" and "calendar", but when i check also "messages" option, after 2% of completion the phone told me that there's "no backup file available".what can i do now?i know those NBF files are zip files; is not possible to create a new backup file and merge the old messages folder "predefmessages", stored in the original NBF-zip file, into the new one?

View 6 Replies View RelatedOkay so my problem is that I don't know how to change the favourite text message contact, the one that pops up when you've written your message and are about to send it, in order: "Contacts", "Favourite", "Last used", "Number or email" etc.
The problem is, it isn't one of the favourites that you can add to the widget on the opening screen. If I have the fave widget on my screen, they're all empty.
Anyone know how and where I could change this contact or remove the fave alltogether?
I've got a Nokia 2730 classic. It is set to "Silent" on the display so it vibrates on receiving a text message which is what I want it to do. However it also still bleeps twice. How do I turn off this additional bleep so that "silent" actually means "silent"?!!

1) Does "Asha 308" Support folder "View Flders"?
2) If yes then please tell the method!
3) If not then how can this feature be suggested to Nokia, so it can in incorporated in any new mobile software release.
My 5800 displays a text (SMS) with the senders name in dark red on a black background - which I simply cannot read. How do I:1. Change the colour of this text so that I can read it2. Increase the font size which will help a little.
View 2 Replies View RelatedI purchased Asha 302 about 20 days ago and while going through the features when I recorded some voice using voice recorded output was distorted, I contacted Nokia support through email and was told to restore factory setting. After doing the same I recorded and played AMR file it was fine but as soon as I received a call and then I checked the same recorded AMR file it was againt distorted. I reported same to Nokia support and was told to contact Nokia Care Centre which I visited yesterday there NCC people re-installed the software/OS but the problem persists. I was told that phone has to be sent back to company. I am having another Nokia C2 phone which is fine and no such problem there in that model.

On my other Nokia phones (S60 or S^3) they all have a Contact Sync functionality.

View 1 Replies View RelatedIf you download music in mp3 format from, say, TubeMate, it gives you the chance to enter the artist and the album etc in an update box when you do it. The subject is usually the title it brought with it. However, you can leave these blank of course.
Unfortunately, having stored them, I can't find a way back in to edit this information. I downloaded some stuff and didn't bother with the artist to start with as it was in the title. However, if you don't enter the artist then the track doesn't appear in the alphabetic list.
how to get back the fields to edit? I've read all the manuals I can find on the X10 mini pro, and I know that a long press does different things to a quick tap, but I've tried everything and failed.
