I am trying to figure out how to copy the file I need to edit from bitpim to my pc. The reason as many of you know is to try and edit the wap and mms settings for a flashed metropcs voyager.
View 3 RepliesI used to be able to have bitpim see an older LG phone without any problems and be able to send new ringtones or pictures easily. I cant seem to get bitpim to recognize my Voyager, even though Ive gone through the setup of selecting it. I have the usb cable to connect rather than use bluetooth but no luck. Has anyone got this to work?
View 4 Replies View RelatedI have an LG Voyager with firmware VX10KV11. I am using BitPim 1.0.7.I have imported my Google Calendar in to BitPim with no problem. When I try to push it up to the phone the phone turns off and restarts a second later. The calendar transfer does not happen.BitPim recognizes the phone with no problem initially.

In Bitpim I found the MMS folder, which I can backup and transfer all of the files, but they are saved as .PDU Does anyone know of a program that I can use to open the PDU file to see what is in this PIX or FLIX message? I'll just transfer all PDU files from one phone to the other and delete the ones I don't want, but I would like to view them from the PC as well to see what is in them. Does anyone know of a program that will do this AND let me view the picture or video associated with it? I found PDUDecoder, but it doesn't show the pix/flix.

View 1 Replies View RelatedIf you download music in mp3 format from, say, TubeMate, it gives you the chance to enter the artist and the album etc in an update box when you do it. The subject is usually the title it brought with it. However, you can leave these blank of course.
Unfortunately, having stored them, I can't find a way back in to edit this information. I downloaded some stuff and didn't bother with the artist to start with as it was in the title. However, if you don't enter the artist then the track doesn't appear in the alphabetic list.

View 4 Replies View RelatedI have a small AVI video file (3.5MB) converted to mobile format (output profile reading "Mobile Phone MPEG-4 Movie..mp4") using Any Video Converter. With a view to copying the file to my E71 phone, I connected the phone to PC (Dell Studio 1558 system running W7 HP) via the USB (using the PC Siute mode in the first attempt and then the Mass Storage mode in my next attempt). I then proceeded to open the video file's shortcut menu and, in the Send To destinations, hit my phone's link that was being displayed as the E71 icon. But PC Suite reported inability to "copy the file". In the case of Mass Storage option too, the result was similar. Strangely, in several instances of my effort PC Suite was even found reporting that the "device has stopped responding or disconnected from PC" even though Suite's Home Page was showing my phone's icon as being in sync. s shortcut menu and, in the Send To destinations, hit my phone

I was browsing through my pictures in the photo album and noticed the edit feature, I wasn't sure what the buttons at the bottom were for so I clicked the red circle and realized it is the red eye edit tool. But it took me to a full screen of the picture and tells me to click on the red eyes and to click twice to undo, but after lots of clicking I can't seem to get the screen to go back to my normal photo album. How do I close this feature? I can access my camera roll through the camera but not through the photo album. Even after hitting my home key and trying to get back in it still takes me to the picture that is in edit mode.

Anyway, how do I put games on my phone thru bitpm? I know with the ringtones, you have to save and then delete that lg soundfile dat file for ringtones, but dont know where to start for games.

View 3 Replies View RelatedI have been having an issue with pitpim lately. trying to get my photos off of my phone bitpim will constantly freeze and not respond. i have to close it and start it up again and again and usually eventually the photos will get copied to my computer before it freezes if i am lucky. I upgraded to 1.7 and it still does the same thing. I tried different usb ports and it still does the same thing. I cleaned a bunch of photos and videos off to try to lessen the load that pitpim has to transfer. And nothing works.

Other than this major mishap, the phone seems to work fine. I have retried the same firmware update and have now tried the newer updates as well. I have also tried at two different locations. VZW says they don't know what went wrong and told me good luck.I was wondering if its possible to find and load the applications in myself using bitpim.

View 1 Replies View RelatedI have a Samsung Caliber and purchased a Brand New in the box Plantronics Voyager Pro headset from ebay seller named rtarafa and I have had a horrible time with it.It frequently drops calls, refuses to activate the voice call feature and causes the phone to get stuck. Not sure if this seller is selling bad units or if it's just not compatible but consider yourself on notice.I find myself going back to my Motorola HS850 because it works perfectly with the Caliber.VERY disappointed as I thought this was going to be a terrific headset.
