LG :: Trouble Loading Calendar To Voyager Via BitPim
Jun 1, 2010
I have an LG Voyager with firmware VX10KV11. I am using BitPim 1.0.7.I have imported my Google Calendar in to BitPim with no problem. When I try to push it up to the phone the phone turns off and restarts a second later. The calendar transfer does not happen.BitPim recognizes the phone with no problem initially.
I used to be able to have bitpim see an older LG phone without any problems and be able to send new ringtones or pictures easily. I cant seem to get bitpim to recognize my Voyager, even though Ive gone through the setup of selecting it. I have the usb cable to connect rather than use bluetooth but no luck. Has anyone got this to work?
I am trying to figure out how to copy the file I need to edit from bitpim to my pc. The reason as many of you know is to try and edit the wap and mms settings for a flashed metropcs voyager.
Loving my storm2, but can't figure out how to load a certain webpage from my local TV station. I'm trying to load New Hampshire School Closings and Delays, Manchester Business Closings from WMUR, but I get the mobile version of their website, which doesn't contain this page. I've tried both the standard browser and Opera, and changed the browser settings to explorer, but it still goes to the mobile site. I'm probably missing something simple.
So we all use a Google Calendar app on her phone at least I do. I have the agenda widget on my home screen and I've noticed it would have to go home but it's constantly loading. For a few seconds at a time. I thought they would have fixed this issue with the last update but it doesn't look so.

ok my tourch 9680 has just turned itself off completly and now resets over and over, the loading bar gets half way through loading then turns off and starts again,
I currently am using Windows 7 Ultimate and Professional, and I tried to download the latest BitPim 1.0.6 and even the 1.0.7 software and it would not work properly. Is there a better piece of software that I can use for my LGvx8350 on Windows 7 so that I may transfer my files and upload my ringtones, etc?
I just read forums and finally, after having this phone forever (Lg ax585 rythm), learned how to use my own ringtones thru bitpim!! i was so happy! Anyway, how do I put games on my phone thru bitpm? I know with the ringtones, you have to save and then delete that lg soundfile dat file for ringtones, but dont know where to start for games.
I want to add sounds to my Voyager Titanium. Specifically, I want to add an mp3 to a text message to annoy my youngest. When I click 'options/add/sound' I get a limited list of chimes, ding, etc. Is there a way to add to this list .
My Voyager VX10000 had issues and I got a replacement. In Bitpim I found the MMS folder, which I can backup and transfer all of the files, but they are saved as .PDU Does anyone know of a program that I can use to open the PDU file to see what is in this PIX or FLIX message? I'll just transfer all PDU files from one phone to the other and delete the ones I don't want, but I would like to view them from the PC as well to see what is in them. Does anyone know of a program that will do this AND let me view the picture or video associated with it? I found PDUDecoder, but it doesn't show the pix/flix.
I have been having an issue with pitpim lately. trying to get my photos off of my phone bitpim will constantly freeze and not respond. i have to close it and start it up again and again and usually eventually the photos will get copied to my computer before it freezes if i am lucky. I upgraded to 1.7 and it still does the same thing. I tried different usb ports and it still does the same thing. I cleaned a bunch of photos and videos off to try to lessen the load that pitpim has to transfer. And nothing works.
after a firmware update at a local VZW store a year ago, my phone lost several flash files such as the World Clock, EZ Tip calculator, and even the musicplayer. Other than this major mishap, the phone seems to work fine. I have retried the same firmware update and have now tried the newer updates as well. I have also tried at two different locations. VZW says they don't know what went wrong and told me good luck.I was wondering if its possible to find and load the applications in myself using bitpim.
Is there a way to use Bitpim with an Env3 and use the features on the far left side of the bitpim program, like Call Lists, SMS, Ringtones, Calender etc?I set Bitpim up to recognize my phone as an Env2 as I found in a thread related to ringtone transfers.
I have a Voyager. Those who use VZ Navigator im sure are aware that the latest 5.0 version is the worst invention ever.I also have an old Venus that I dont use anymore...THe Venus has Navigator 4.0 on it which is I want back..is there a way to transfer the navigator on my Venus to my Voyager?
I have a Samsung Caliber and purchased a Brand New in the box Plantronics Voyager Pro headset from ebay seller named rtarafa and I have had a horrible time with it.It frequently drops calls, refuses to activate the voice call feature and causes the phone to get stuck. Not sure if this seller is selling bad units or if it's just not compatible but consider yourself on notice.I find myself going back to my Motorola HS850 because it works perfectly with the Caliber.VERY disappointed as I thought this was going to be a terrific headset.
I bought a LG Voyager from a from a store that sells flashed phones. The lady told me that all her cricket stuff was down so i had to go to a cricket store to get my number on the phone, so i did. Now the internet doesn't work and when i get a pic message it tells me to go to a lame website from my computer with a pic of a cell phone and my message on the screen!!! what do i do to get my phone to work properly??
My old Razr recently gave up. I replaced it with an LG EnV Touch, which is a great phone.I had successfully hacked into the Razr using P2K Commander.I've been using BitPim with my new LG EnV Touch, and while it works "well", it is not the same type of utility: It doesn't give full access (any access?) to the phone directories. It seems mainly useful for uploading ringtones, pics, etc.
I'm trying to download pics FROM the phone. I realize that there are other ways to do that; but I'm just interested in seeing if there is a way to do that with the phone connected.
I'm trying to connect my Plantronics Voyager 520 – which works fine with the phone I previously used, a K610i – to my W705, and can't find a way to do so (bluetooth on, telephone visible).
Having issues with bluetooth dropping and reconnecting? I have a plantronics voyager headset and it keeps dropping and reconnecting the the 950. I thought I had outdated firmware on the voyager, so I updated the firmware and it has made it worse.
Does anyone know why I keep getting an error on bitpim. The only success I have had is ringtones and sounds. I want to backup my versa phone contacts and images. When I go to get phone data, it offers for me to get phone book, calendar, wall paper, ringtone, memo, sms, and call history. The only thing I have been able to retrieve from my phone is the ringtones.
does anyone know of a way to turn off the sound that happens immediately after a missed call? I have some idiot friends that will go out drinking and periodically call me at 1am when I have to get up at 6am for work. I also have an elderly gentleman that will call my number in the middle of the night, thinking I am his son (my number and his son's number must be very similar). I can set the ringer to "No Ring" for these people, I can turn off vmail alerts, I can turn off text alerts...but none of it matters because when one of them calls, I still wake up due to the missed call sound that happens immediately after the call. I can't just put the phone on silent because I would need to be alerted if some type of emergency would happen with my family. I could just get a landline and put the phone on silent, but I would rather not shell out the extra $$ due to a poorly thought out missed call sound on a cell phone. Really, what is the point of including a "no ring" feature for an individual person, if you can't turn off the missed call sound? In reality, what happens is the missed call sound becomes person's ring tone. Also, does the Envy Touch have this problem? I am due for a new phone in the spring and was looking at purchasing this one.
I just figured out how to add ringtones to your Convoy with bitpim. I started with this thread from grc which say the that Convoy can be recognized through bitpim by manually selecting the SCH-U750 (Alias 2) phone....
The ringtone will actually get written into your sounds instead of your ringtone folder but it can still be used as a ringtone just the same.
first of all leave your phone in usb sync mode and DO NOT switch it to modem mode.
1 Start Bitpim
2 Hook your phone to the computer with the usb cable. Phone will be recognized in bitpim as other cdma phone. Open your phone and hit clear so that sync mode is closed and your wallpaper comes up. DO NOT unhook your phone from the cable. The phone will momentarily disconnect from bitpim and then reconnect. SWEET NOW
3 Go to edit and then to settings in bitpim. Manually set your phone to SCH-U750 (Alias 2)
4 Go to media in bitpim and click on SOUNDS. Now click the add music note at the top and make the ringtone as you normally would. when your finished making it send it to your phone with the add ringtone button and once your phone restarts, check your SOUNDS folder in your phone.....
GRC for getting the ball rolling...I guess this will have to work untill they update bitpim...
