I have downloaded iOS 5 from a seperate site, and frankly I just don't know what to do with it. I also have a first generation iPad which is running on 5.1 so I'm just not quite sure as to what is going on in my laptop (which is an Acer Aspire One netbook, and iTunes is running at 10.1 I think).
P.S. To be perfectly honest, I'm really wanting this to work now because I want to buy "Zombies, Run!" from the app store and its on sale until this Sunday, and it requires iOS 5.

I just upgraded to a Iphone 5 c and bought new ringtones. Did the update 8.1.1 and all purchased ringtones disappeared. After talking to Apple about the problem, I was told they would not credit my account because they are aware of this problem.

So I'm currently running Android HD Revolution's 4.4 GPE ROM, and noticed yesterday that the 4.4.2 OTA is available for download on my phone. Would my phone survive the download or should I wait for the latest ROM to be available to prevent any bricking that my occur?

I recently did an update on my Blackberry 9700 and after the update, I found that all the ringtones had been removed and replaced with a few crappy ones. how I can get the old ringtones reinstalled?
I must say this Gingerbread update looks quite nice, and I'm liking it as far as I've been using it for the past hours.I had the media problem earlier in the day, wasn't really able to fix it until it went off without me noticing. All I did was go Settings > Applications > Manage Applications > All and then clear data to everything with "media that I could find.I don't know if that was what made the error screen to go away, but all my songs and pictures are available to me now. Now, there is still something that I need to understand...My notification ringtones for SMS are all gone, all I can do is choose between "Android System" which limits me to "default ringtone, silent or Facebook Pop" or SoundPicker which leads me to my songs.Where did all the SMS ringtones go? Is there any way to download them or something? I've been looking around for a while, and still no clue where to find a good one (the usual Sony Ericsson ringtone isn't available to me either)

I dropped the bold and at&terrible and have taken my business to verizon and am the proud owner of a tour last night trying to install 5.0 I seem to have run into an issue using swiss army knife AND DM it wont load past the Loading RAM phase ive done bat pulls re wiped the phone, removed and reinstalled software finally I just said it and went back to verizon 4.7 and I STILL can not get past the loading RAM image.I am running windows xp through VMware on a macbook. I did read somewhere that running windows this way you can NOT update OS's past 5.0 but why would I still be having the same issues trying to install 4.7 anyone care to chime in because for now my phone isnt touring at all.
The small clock that indicates that something is loading has been running for a couple of hours. Functionality of device is severely limited. This has been occurring frequently.
While updating to belle somebody tried calling me and phone seemed to crash at this point as the call carried on ringing for over a minute and I couldn't answer it. Had to restart phone and it went through the initialization and belle was installed..But now the whole phone runs so slowly - often takes 10-20 seconds to unlock the phone w slider, send or open a SMS message etc..Was working fine on anna yesterday. I've tried restarting it a few times but problem persists. On another note I tried deleting the 4000 old SMS messages that are over a month old from Nokia Suite, then syncing messages but it doesn't remove them from the phone.
I really enjoy the new layout and functions of the software update, however I noticed that it deleted MOST of my standard bb notifications that come on the black berry. Notifier Cricket, Relaxed Gong, etc. There was probably 100 before and now there are less than 40.
When a call come in, displays on screen but no tones are heard. Went to "change sounds and alerts", "phone ring tone" and it just comes back to same screen.
When I updated the software on my phone, I the standard ringtones and sounds that I was using.I'm an old fashioned type of person and like the standard old fashioned ringer, it was louder and longer. Also lost the sounds I used for text and BBM.Does anyone know if there is a place to recover all the ringers and sounds that were on the older version of the software WITHOUT incurring cost.
I just went through with the newest update (system version 4.5.91.MB860.ATT.en.US) and I am now unable to assign ringtones for contacts, and can't change my regular/universal phone ringtones to anything other than the defaults. Anybody else having these problems, or know how to get around them?
I'm looking for a way to make my own ringtones (pick song, choose section of song I want, etc.) or a site that has a ton of ringtones ready to DL for free. The ringtones section of crackberry is nice but the quality of some of the songs I want is not good.
