I found another error in ICS update.Sometimes, when I start my phone, some widgets won't load. May be, it's because of SDCARD storage was used. All of them are stored on SDCARD, but in Android 2.3.4 (GB) there was no error, no problem.

View 3 Replies View RelatedI've have some unresolvable issue with two Sony widgets: "picture frame" and "photos and videos". First one lost 2x2 size and can be applied 3x3 only. Still there are "picture frame" two widgets are running since 2.3.4 android in 2x2 size. I can remove them but won't add anymore in needed size. Same with "photos and videos". I've got 2x2 one after upgrading to ICS. Wasn't up to rearange my desktops and faced that removing 2x2 was a big mistake. There is 3x3 only can be placed. "Clear date" didn't help. I'm pretty sure that both widgets can be placed in smaller 2x2 size. But OS doesn't offer that chois anymore.

Put my phone onto charge last night with phone turned off. Don't normally do that but kept getting FB notifications. Turned phone on this morning and noticed several widgets missing from my home screen. There are gaps where widgets were but now they are missing. They are still on the phone as they're visible on the other screen where all my apps are.
Widgets all suddenly disappeared when unlocking the phone randomly? This has happened twice to me know on my Z5.
View 10 Replies View RelatedI had to do some bug hunting, and found out that after reboot from safe mode pinned widgets (here: Sony calendar, Sony Gallery, WeatherPro) were gone, and dropbox account was deleted. I've read in this forum, the phone (Z5P, btw.) will return into normal operation mode after reboot, but this is not the case.

But one thing that is really annoying is that it is all too easy to accidently go into the arrange icons mode by mistake without even realising it. Quite often I look at my phone and my address book, or calls have disapeared from the corners and now sit with the icons. Is it possible to extend the length of time needed for a long press?

I have the facebook app in my xperia x8, when i enter using it i even dont know where's the chat. Also sometimes i access facebook from the browser. I just tried today to upload a picture i took using the phone with its caption and all, i tried to upload it using some option directly from the picture itself, it started processing it, reach the 100% but after that told me it couldn't load the picture to facebook; i tried 4 times and all were the same?

View 2 Replies View Relatedi am using xperia pro mk16a and a few days back i updated to ics 4.0.4 through pc companin s/w.everything went well and the update was completed in 20 minutes flat w/o any error or problem.but since then even after downloading adobe flash player the flash videos which are of duration 5 minutes or more do not load the flash video screen shows that it is loading but it doesnt load even after wainting for 30 minutes earlier on gingerbread these very videos used to load in less than a minute.i have tried almost all the browsers available in the market...but the result is same. i think this is some compaltibility issue of adobe flash player and android 4.0.4.Internet works bery well..no issues on that account.otherwise the ics update is very nice and feature rich and enhanced the overall xperience.

The xperia play's email app gets my emails fine though so it seems to be something to do with the default browser? I've used a third party browser (Dolphin) and https web sites work fine through it.
