Jul 11, 2013I bought my HTC one 5 weeks ago. I powered off last week and the phone would not come on when I went to power up again a couple days later. Took it to the dealer who said he has not seen this happen and also could not get it to work. I asked him if all my photos, videos etc would transfer over to my replacement phone once I received the new one. He said not if I didn't back them up online! I hadn't done that yet since I have only had the phone a few weeks but I have taken a ton of pics and video of my kids and I am desperately wanting to know if there is a way that I can transfer these things to my new phone. He said because he can't even get my phone to power on there is no way to upload these things now and I will lose them I received my new phone today but before I set it up I need to know if there is any way for me to save my pics, etc.

Jun 22, 2014My iPhone 5S iOS (7.1.1) fell down "less than one meter height", then after that it shows that there is no service I used my sim card with 2 another iphones (5 &5S) the service worked fine with both iphones.
I tried iPhone: Troubleshooting No Service except "restoring the iPhone", but I'm still experiencing "No Service" issue.my iPhone worked fine for 7 months before falling down.There's no other issues with my iphone everything else is working normally, the screen is not broken & there is only one tiny scratch on the edge of the iPhone. Mar 4, 2010So, I just bought a JB'en iphone 3g tonight.Went ahead and unlocked it using ultrasn0w.Connected it to my mac/itunes, and it asks "an iphone has been previously synced with this computer. setup as a new iphone -or- restore the backup of ***"So, since I had purchased apps using my *** phone (actually was an ipod touch that i got rid of), I'm thinking that I should restore the backup so that I can get my paid apps back for free.
Questions:
-will restoring this backup to the new unlocked phone restore it to its original locked state (i.e. will i have to re-jailbreak/unlock)? or will it simply restore preferences, etc...?
-otherwise, if i call this phone a new name, is there a way to transfer my purchased apps to the new phone's account?

Mar 19, 2010A friend of mine has a factory unlocked 3GS with 3.1.3 firmware and, I'm assuming, the latest baseband. Reading this iClarified tutorial would suggest that it is possible to jailbreak his phone with a Mac but he doesn't have one. So my question is, if I make a custom ISPW for him using my Mac, can he then restore his phone using Windows and this custom firmware. And if so, does he need to use DFU mode or can he simply click on the custom file and restore? I should add that it isn't feasible for me to do the job for him as he lives many miles away and I'll be sending him the custom firmware on a CD by mail.

When it freezes I get a black squared clock at the centre of my screen. I then decided to whip out everything on my phone thinking if I did that everything will be back to normal. Mar 25, 2012Since I updated my iOS from 5.0.1 to 5.1, my iPhone:
1) Takes a lot more time finding the network when I turn it on.
2) Frequently loses reception and searches for network for 10-30 seconds before going back on the network full strength. The weird thing is that when this happens, I'm usually at the same place, so it does not make sense that I go from five bars of signal to nothing.
3) Also, when I lose signal, there is a prompt telling me that I lost signal. This prompt is annoying, is there a way to make it not appear?
