IPhone :: Reset Passcode With Itunes?
Mar 14, 2012From browsing the Internet I see a lot of people trying to bypass the iPhone passcode lock. I have a similar but I think unique situation. I had a passcode set on my phone. I couldnt sleep two nights ago and vaguely remember playing with my phone settings. The next morning I went to use my phone and my passcode wouldnt work. With a sinking feeling I remember seeing passcode settings.
Needless to say I entered codes until I got the Connect to Itunes prompt.
Thinking iTune stored multiple backups, I connected my phone and made a backup not realizing I just erased the one from the prior week. So now I can connect to iTunes, tell it to restore, get the Cannot Restore theres a Passcode message, disconnect the cable, reconnect the cable, it syncs for a few seconds, then have access to the Passcode screen for another 10 tries until it locks again and I have to repeat this.
I dont want to reset and lose my data. In iTunes I can see my apps, music and movies. Is there a way iTunes can reset the passcode? I dont want to do the reset/restore for two reasons: 1) everthing I've read says I lose app data if I do that and 2) since I backed up after locking does that restore the forgotten passcode too so I end up in the same boat?

Jun 1, 2014I recently got a new iphone and then like an idiot forgot the pass ode to my old iPhone 4s. I tried 10 times and it disabled me and I don't have a computer to sync to iTunes. Is there anyway to get it? Or at least get it back to where I can try to enter the code again because I think I know it now.

Please move it if necessary.OK, I live in the UK, and set up a US iTunes account a while ago funded by my US virtual credit card, which seemed to work peferctly well up until about two weeks ago.Now, iTunes tells me that I need to supply a US based funding source, so no major problem, I would simply use US iTunes cards in future.However, the last batch of apps/songs I purchased appears not to have come off my virtual VISA card, but instead has put my iTunes account into a -$24.99 balance.I would like to know the best way to clear this balance, so I can carry on using the account.I tried adding a UK credit card, but it wouldn't accept it, again saying it wasn't US funded.I set up a US PayPal account, with a US address, funded by a UK credit card. The PayPal account is fine. I can send/receive money from it, no problem, and currently have a $30 balance on it.I then tried to use this US PayPal account to fund my US iTunes account, but again, it said the PayPal account needed to be funded from a US funded source. Even though it is a US PayPal account, with a US address, iTunes must still check the actual credit card associated with it and be smart enough to determine that the 16 digit number is not a US credit card number.I even thought the $30 balance on the US PayPal account would be sufficient to clear the iTunes balance, but no, it still wants a US funded source to be linked to PayPal. So, any suggestions on how to clear the negative balance on this account (from the UK) ?What if I was to redeem a $25 US iTunes card against my account. Would that immediately get applied to the negative balance and clear it?Hopefully, some iTunes guru will be able to give me a suggestion or two.Thanks, and sorry for the long post, but I wanted to give as much info as possible as to what I have tried already.

How To Factory Reset IPhone 4 That Has Been Disabled Without ITunes
Jun 2, 2014I have an iPhone 4 that my friend gave me. Her younger siblings were playing on it and it's disabled and must be connected to iTunes. I have tried to restore it, but it was never synced with iTunes. The computer doesn't even recognize it at this point. It has iOS 6, but I don't know which version. Is there a way to fix this? Like a hidden reset button? I have held both the home and power button to reboot, I have put it recovery mode many times...I've done every method I have found on the internet. Apr 27, 2012I was quite happily enjoying a new episode of Fringe when suddenly I had an email saying my Apple account password had been changed along with lots of billing information. After resetting my account, a lot of my details have been changed, namely to an address in the US (I live in the UK), the phone number has changed (to a US number) and apparently credit card information.
Anyone know who I have to contact to get this looked into? I am really stressing and it seems that I just cannot find an email address or telephone number for customer support - just sales! It seems like 2 apps were downloaded to my iPhone and iPad - haypi dragon and galaxy empire both free to download but have big in app purchases...
