All apps have been wiped from my 4s. this also includes the iphone factory settings app. i cannot do a factory reset on iTunes because it asks me to turn off my" find my iphone app" which i cant open because it has vanished....

I have tried to restore it, but it was never synced with iTunes. The computer doesn't even recognize it at this point. It has iOS 6, but I don't know which version. Is there a way to fix this? Like a hidden reset button? I have held both the home and power button to reboot, I have put it recovery mode many times...I've done every method I have found on the internet. I've done over 5 hours of research and nothing works.

I need to factory reset my wife's Iphone 5. I followed the instructions that suggested I sync via Itunes. In the process of doing so the sync acted funny during the sync. So I repeated the process. Now my wife's phone has pictures back on it that she had uploaded to you Macbook Pro to create space on her phone. It also downloaded back to the phone all the categories she created on her Macbook Pro for her pictures.
Before I factory reset her phone I need to be confident I backed up her data correctly. Especially her contacts and most importantly her pictures.

I reset my iPhone to factory settings and all went well. However, before I did so, I forgot that I had put it in airplane mode and didn't switch it out. Airplane mode is still on and there's no way to get it out. What's the big deal? Well it's trying to reactivate my phone and it won't activate it without the antennas on...and I can't get to the Settings to disable Airplane mode because it's in that iOS 5 initial set up. So I authorize the computer as it prompts me too, then it says, this computer is already authorized. I try to sync again, it still says computer not authorized. It's been a continuous circle. When asked to enter my Apple ID & password to activate my phone, it said the email was incorrect. I've called Apple & they said it was the corresponding email. I've used the same Apple ID to sign into everything; iTunes, iCloud online, Facetime on my MacBook Air. I even used it to sign in to ask this question .. It's just my phone that won't accept my Apple ID.
Also, when plugged into my laptop, error 2005 & 9 came up.
