I have an iphone 4s... I put a password on and I cant remeber it now my phone is disabled...I am on i tunes and can not figure out where or how to do a factory reset on the phone to unlock it?
I have an iPhone 4 that my friend gave me. Her younger siblings were playing on it and it's disabled and must be connected to iTunes. I have tried to restore it, but it was never synced with iTunes. The computer doesn't even recognize it at this point. It has iOS 6, but I don't know which version. Is there a way to fix this? Like a hidden reset button? I have held both the home and power button to reboot, I have put it recovery mode many times...I've done every method I have found on the internet. I've done over 5 hours of research and nothing works.
Info: iPhone 4, iOS 6.1, Was never synced with iTunes.
Anyways, I have managed to change my homescreen, widgets and subsequent screens so much that now I'm bored with it. I would like to reset all these screens back their original state.
My Iphone 5 is disabled and it does not say how long for. I can not reset it because i need my photos off it. Is there anything i can do to remove the password or sync the photos while it is disabled ? Is there anyway i can do it at home ?
All apps have been wiped from my 4s. this also includes the iphone factory settings app. i cannot do a factory reset on iTunes because it asks me to turn off my" find my iphone app" which i cant open because it has vanished....
When i bought my iPhone 4S, it was on contract, so locked, i got it unlocked but, i need to reset to factory settings as restrictions password has been forgotten, will my phone be locked again?
For the last 3 days I've had to reset my phone (5x) and do a factory reset (2x) because the phone keeps crashing. I don't know what triggers the crash but yesterday was peticularly bad and had to do 2 factory resets. This morning, I woke up and thought I would have to do a third but a standard reset fixed it.Â
I need to factory reset my wife's Iphone 5. I followed the instructions that suggested I sync via Itunes. In the process of doing so the sync acted funny during the sync. So I repeated the process. Now my wife's phone has pictures back on it that she had uploaded to you Macbook Pro to create space on her phone. It also downloaded back to the phone all the categories she created on her Macbook Pro for her pictures.
Before I factory reset her phone I need to be confident I backed up her data correctly. Especially her contacts and most importantly her pictures.
