6 months back I bought one i phone, afterwords, immediately I have jail broken, and upon jail broken if I put sim it could not be actived. Now I want to overcome from the jail break and I want the factory mode and I want to use sim activation. Will my doubts be cleared

I have been searching the web with no luck on how to go about updating to 3.1.3 and keeping all my apps. I have made a backup of my phone, and was thinking about clicking update in itunes to 3.1.3 and then running spirit then doing a restore of the backup. Is this the right way i should be doing this?

I immediately noticed an app on the phone called Cydia. I had never seen a jail broken iPhone before but I have heard the name Cydia associated with JBing, but I assumed the cydia app on the display phone was something legit. I asked one of the geniuses if the phones were jailbroken because several of the phones had the cydia app on them. He scoffed and said of course they're not jail broken. Then another genius told me that they were indeed jail broken and proceeded to remove them all from the display.
View 17 Replies View RelatedMy phone: 3gs, jailbroken on 3.1.2 with bootrom 5.11.07 using pwnagetool 3.1.4. Itunes is at 9.1.Basically I'm stuck in recovery mode and I can't restore my phone. I get error messages in itunes everytime.
It started when I mistakenly updated itunes to 9.1. My phone wasn't being recognized to sync. So I thought why not erase all content on the phone itself? Stupid me didn't research it and didn't know I wasn't supposed to do that.
After the erase, my phone was in a constant cycle of rebooting (with the pineapple logo) and it wasn't being recognized on itunes. So I put it in recovery mode and tried restoring my custom ipsw and it won't. Tried restoring to factory settings in itunes and it won't.
Is the phone bricked? Is there anything I can do? Any help would be greatly appreciated. I've researched for a couple of days and nothing seems to work.
My Galaxy S5's screen broke and it is completely black. I need to return this phone to geek squad but I must perform a factory reset on it before I send it, but I dont know how I can do this if I cant read what it is on the screen. Is there anyway that I could perform a factory reset from my computer or is there another way to perform a factory reset without needing the screen?

So I reset the phone and now its stuck on apple logo and doesn't change. periodically it will give me a white spiral on the bottom of the apple logo but that is it. Airplane mode is still on and there's no way to get it out. What's the big deal? Well it's trying to reactivate my phone and it won't activate it without the antennas on...and I can't get to the Settings to disable Airplane mode because it's in that iOS 5 initial set up. I can't get past it at all to?How can I get this Airplane mode disabled so it can activate? I tried activating through iTunes and it didn't work. It is not jailbroken or anything.

When asked to enter my Apple ID & password to activate my phone, it said the email was incorrect. I've called Apple & they said it was the corresponding email. I've used the same Apple ID to sign into everything; iTunes, iCloud online, Facetime on my MacBook Air. I even used it to sign in to ask this question .. It's just my phone that won't accept my Apple ID.
Also, when plugged into my laptop, error 2005 & 9 came up.

1. Restart -> Booted back to Erase mode
2. Bootloader -> Recovery mode -> Booted back to Erase mode
3. Bootloader -> Start -> Booted back to Erase mode
4. USB connection -> no device recognized

I've forgot the screenlock pin of my Sony Xperia Z2, the smartphone is stock so i don't have the bootloader unlocked so i can't go in recovery mode.
From Sony PC Companion i can't do nothing because i must unlock the phone.
From Flashtool i can't do nothing because i have USB Debug Mode set to OFF and i can't enable it if i can't unlock the smartphone. Otherwise if I can set the phone in Flashmode or Fastboot Mode.
First off im really impressed with the things you can now do with jail breaking the iphone..i never did it to my 3g just cause of all the crashes people were having but i finally said wow this is too easy thru jailbreakme.com so i took the plung on my IP4
