IPhone 5c :: Won't Show Sent Messages
Jun 17, 2014every time I send a text message it won't show the message that I sent, rather the messages that I receive. this just started happening to my friend and me.

May 3, 2012its been 6 months since i bought my phone...sometimes the phone freezes...comes to life when it is re-booted...this was happening occasionally....
two days back didn get any calls or messages from the morning nor i wasn't able to make any outgoing calls too...
so called to my phone from land line and checked...the ring went on but i didn get any display like getting a call in my phone...
i was able to lock,slide,take a pic...but de call was still on and there was no traces...not even a record of a missed call....

Apr 10, 2012on my iphone, when i recieve a message it shows the actual message and i would rather it just say "text message" with the senders name because otherwise i feel as though people are invading my privacy.

Jul 6, 2012recently, I used my uncles iphone 4 to imessage my friends. my uncle recently decided to give it to me and get himself the new iphone 4s. Since its from out of country, we went to unlock the iphone 4 and got rid of the old sim card and he got a new sim card with the old phone number (same number for iphone 4). my problem is that im scared he'll be able to receive my old and new imessages. I had deleted them on his old iphone and reset the whole thing twice.the problem is that on the old iphone, I did input my own apple ID to send messages, but I realized later on that it was using the PHONE NUMBER as the CALLER ID. Sure the messages still synced into my iPod 4g and back and forth.
I heard that sometimes, two iphones that had the same sim card or phone number tend to send to each other messages as if it was one phone and that concerns me. Is it possible that when he activates his new iPhone, the old imessages would show up on his phone as syncing? I really don't want him to get his hands on my old messages. Aug 10, 2012im having a problem with sending text sms messages. When isend these messages i get a check mark showing they have been sent. Why should i assume otherwise? And then i hear from multiple people that they received them at 4am or the next day or even just 30 minutes later and out of order. I even tested this with a friend sitting side by side. Out of 3 text messages sent, he only got the 2nd one and didnt receive any of the others. I read on another forum that it might be because my sim card might be old? Is this the knly possible explanation? It is probably at least 4-5 yrs old since i just get new phones but keep my sim card.

Callers are given the option of tagging them as "urgent", which on my Windows phone, meant that they came in with a little red exclamation point (just as Outlook does). Urgent messages on iphone's mail app, though, don't seem to have any such indicator. Am I missing a setting somewhere?

Jun 29, 2014I receive messages from people hours after they tell me they sent them but when I receive them it has the current time listed, as if it was just sent. It would be fantastic to know the msg was sent at 10am and now being 2:30pm, I can have a better reply. It's definitely with the phone, because I know a few of the people have the same service provider but different phones. When messages are received on my wifes phone, it shows when they were sent, not the current time. I've looked at my settings but do not see a way to change this, is there a way?

However, the Mobiso application (which logs calls, texts) shows messages coming in with its text lengths. I asked this to Blackberryhelp on Twitter but it said to contact service provider, but there is nothing wrong with it. The format of the SMS inbox should have something wrong otherwise the Mobiso application should not have logged all messages.

Apr 9, 2015On my iPhone, when I would receive a text message, my lock screen would show who the message was from but it wouldn't include a "preview" of what the message said. It just said Text Message and the persons name. Whenever I receive a text message on my Galaxy S6, is it not possible for the alert on my lock screen to just say "New Message" or just even the contact's name and no preview of the message?
Under Notifications settings --> Notifications on lock screen -- I have the option of Show Content or Do Not Show Notifications.
Shouldn't there be additional options of "turn preview off". Something to that effect? Same with my emails. I'd rather it just say who the email is from an not a snippit of the email contents. Is this possible for email and text messages?
