IPhone 5 :: 4.5GB Of Space Available And Cannot Get Only Audiobook To Play
Aug 23, 2014
i have an iPhone 5 and 4.5GB of space available and connote get my only audiobook to play. When i try to play the audiobook it blinks and returns to the audiobook title.
I cannot sync my aduiobooks to iphone or ipad, have checked all my updates are up to date, spent hours on this, tried all the advice previously given, cannot get them on iphone or ipad!!
I make audiobooks from the CD's I own, and after iOS 5.1 update the chapter names are replaced with "generic" chapter names. The time markers are intact, and I can see the chapter names in iTunes, so it must be bug in iPhone itself. I tried with older audiobooks that I know had no problem and they are all same. i.e. If you go to chapter listing, instead of chapter names. Such as:
1. Introduction 2. The Beginning 3. The Start of Something Big ...
I purchased an audio book directly from my iPhone 4, but it doesn't appear on my iPad through iCloud. I thought anything you bought on any apple device shows up on all devices????
Gosh, since the new update to 5.1 I can't see the track informations in the iPod on the iPhone, when I listen an audiobook. Before I can look the names of the different chapters in an audiobook, but not it shows me only "Chapter 1" "Chapter 2" and so on.Why is it so?How can I change it back, that I can see how the single tracks is named of which an audiobook is build of?
just got the new iphone 4s. I want to listen to audiobooks while on a long overseas flight, which won't have wifi. i downloaded an audiobook off itunes, but when i turn on airplane mode, i can't play the book. is there any way to listen to audiobooks in airplan mode?
I have a Nokia XpressMusic and I bought a memory card with (allegedly) 1.9 GB of storage, yet the card runs out of space when I use up a small percentage of space. I have formatted the thing, but still no joy.
Want to use my new Lumia for Audiobooks i have on file in MP3 format but need a player that can pause and have the functions like MortPlayer Audiobooks eller Smart audiobook player for Android...
Have read somewhere a guy that used Mort for Window phones but think it is for a older version...
using an app tells you to "free up space on your device to continue" but you have already verified there is enough space on your device than needed by the app (17 gigs free).
My iphone 4s has been updated to the iOS 5.1.1. Since then it will not play music or give a text message alert sound. We have restored the phone, we have toggled the mute switch, and we have rebooted using the home button and power down and nothing has worked. The volume does not adjust, there is no sound bar when pressing the sound control buttons along the side of the phone. When double tapping the home button on lock screen there is no sound bar. It will ring on incoming calls and the Speaker phone does work while in call. All of the volume controls will work correctly when the headphones are in music plays, text tone works, video sound works but as soon as they are removed it reverts back.
I have 2.7 GB of space in "other" which puts me over my limit for storage. I have done a restore with no luck. I have nothing to be synced with my phone. I have tried unchecking "open ituens when this iphone is connected" and checking it again but that didnt work either. I didnt have this much "other" until yesterday when i got errors about backups being corrupted. I thought the restore would fix that.
I have a JB'd 3GS 32GB (via Blackra1n) and it's been perfect for a while now.All of a sudden yesterday I added a few tracks and this morning I get a message that there is no space available. There was 9GB of free space available the day before today. I went into the "about" area and it says 0 bytes available?
Any way to restore back my space? I don't really want to re-jail break it, it's too customized.
Just wondering how much of the HD video content can be stored on the iPhone 4. It will be interesting to see, once you have all your music and media content how much actual HD video can be captured, edited, etc.?
I tried to download the garageband update v. 1.2 on my iphone 4s, but i only got a message that says I don't have enough free space.I tried to reinstall the app, but no luck. The app is about 800mb and i have about 1,5gb left on the phone.
I recently transfered my entire itunes library from my old desktop to my new laptop. Nothing has changed, still the same amount of songs and apps. I have authorised this laptop etc. I have only since added 2 albums. When i link my iphone now, it states that sync cannot be completed as it cannot hold the itunes library and an additional 13gb is needed? according to my diagram it also states i have still 6gb left? surely it should sync if only 2 albums have been added?
Doing some iPhone clean up this morning and noticed that the Flipboard app, one that I love, uses 1.2Gb of space on the Iphone. Is that right? Seems massive for a feeder app.
I have exactly the same thing on my new iPhone 4S as on my old iPhone 3, but I keep getting the "not enough space to take photo" message on my new phone. I used to be able to take upwards of 30... What is different?Â
I have deleted all messages and extra backups, but it did not decrease the "Other" section on the storage use icon/bar.
