View 4 Replies View RelatedThe song title and artist does not display when streaming music from Nokia Music on my Windows Phone through my car stereos' bluetooth connection. It also does not allow me to skip songs using my car stereo.
The Zune music player on my Windows Phone has this functionality.
My phone and apps are up to date and yet both Nokia Music and Music + Videos apps seem to be very buggy. In Nokia Music you can't fast forward songs (from what I can tell) In both apps, you can't skip songs, sometimes a song won't even play unless you manually launch another song and then go back and pick the first song. Sometimes a song has some weird audio glitches but other times it plays just fine. Once a songs stops playing, it goes back to song list instead of playing the following songs. I downloaded a free third party player and it doesn't seem to have any of these issues. Come on, Nokia/Microsoft, I shouldn't rely on third party apps to play my songs properly.
View 9 Replies View RelatedHeMy Lumia 800 currently suffers from bugs in Nokia Music: you listen to some music and often after 20/25min the volume goes off (sets it to 0) and you can't recover it. If you don't try to restart the phone and leaves the volume at 0, the sounds may occasionally recover at 30 before disappearing again after a couple of secs. I could not find any fix in this forum, is there any?

This happens when I am using the phone while listening to musicThis issue is not an isolated case and has happened to many people with the Mango 7.5 (just google it). Microsoft were apparently investigating the issue, but this was some time ago and since then still no solution.Why does Nokia release newer phones with Windows 8 but dont solve issues with existing ones.Arrrrrggghhhh! my first Windows phone (after moving from Android) and I am NOT happy...Please don't give me a standard response like take it to a service centre because this seems like a software issue rather than hardware and the phone has the latest version already.So my question is,if there is a workaround to this and if not when can we expect to have an update to this problem ?
View 7 Replies View RelatedSince first day I'm having problems with music player. When I click to play a song it takes several seconds to update screen, moreover hardware buttons doesn't do anything. After a few seconds mobile starts to work again, and everything seems well.
It happens with any application that play music (Microsoft, Nokia and mine), and with any music file. Same files where working perfectly on a Lumia 800.
Where can i download the flash player for lumia 710? I cant watch movies, i cant view some pictures in the web!!

I have installed the "stop the music" app and that removes the controls, but they keep re-appearing. A reboot of the phone also doesn't help.

The time markers are intact, and I can see the chapter names in iTunes, so it must be bug in iPhone itself. I tried with older audiobooks that I know had no problem and they are all same. i.e. If you go to chapter listing, instead of chapter names. Such as:
1. Introduction
2. The Beginning
3. The Start of Something Big

Gosh, since the new update to 5.1 I can't see the track informations in the iPod on the iPhone, when I listen an audiobook.Before I can look the names of the different chapters in an audiobook, but not it shows me only "Chapter 1" "Chapter 2" and so on.Why is it so?How can I change it back, that I can see how the single tracks is named of which an audiobook is build of?

View 1 Replies View RelatedI'm a spotify user. In my car I use a Pioneer bluetooth radio player connected to my lumia 950.
I can control the spotify app (play/pause, next track,...) with the radio's control buttons. When I turn off the car, the track stops playing, when I turn the car on, the playlist/track resumes. But this only works for like 5-10min.
If the car is turned off like over night etc. and I turn it on, it correctly shows the connection to my phone, but the spotify app does not continue to resume the playlist (spotify app is still "running" in the background). Even if configured to open the spotify app when the phone is connected to my cars radio player (via gadget app).
--> I need to open the spotify app on my phone, press play there. --> Now it is possible to control it via my radio again.
How to teach the phone to just "play" when it is connected to the radio and I press play? Or just to continue playing when reconnected? The spotify app has like all permissions it asks for... And it seems not to be a problem with my car's radio player, because it's the same story when testing with my bose soundlink...
I have just bought a new Golf R (amazing car btw) but neither of the USB sockets in the armrest or the dash cubby hole charge my phone. Is this because it is a USB C type cable? It is not a deal killer as I usually charge my phone at either end of my journey but it is annoying!
Another annoying issue is that the Media player does not display the music album art but that is probably a Windows 10 issue and might get updated as the OS is updated.
After being a huge advocate for Windows Phone I'm just about done with it after moving from WP7.5 and Zune to WP8.I can't sync anything using Windows Media Player. I put stuff in the sync list and it looks like it syncs then I check the sync status and everything has "error" in the status and nothing has copied. Doesn't matter if it's songs I own or subscription - nothing syncs through media player. I think I did get it to sync to my wife's 620.
According to MSFT this will not let me sync Zune subscription which is another issue I have - and the biggest issue is that I can't sync playlists period. They show up with 0 songs when I sync using the Windows Phone App. But I was hoping using Media Player might solve that but it's not working.I'm using WIndows 7 on my PC. I'm a long time Zune user/promoter. Right now I can't get music on my phone in any reasonable fashion.

After about 20 plus songs or so, the playlist starts all over again from the very top.... In some rare occasions, the list even starts auto shuffling itself even though shuffle isn't turned on >.< It's annoying as I have to keep going back to where I last stopped again everytime it does that. Is there any way to fix it??? I've tried turning my phone on and off and soft resetting my phone already but the problem still persists
