IPhone 4s :: IOS 5.0.1 / How To Find List Of All IMessage Devices
Dec 5, 2014
I have been an apple user for many years and recently had a disturbing occurrence. I stopped receiving some of my texts messages for the past month or so and when I searched all of the devices in my household, I was shocked to find that my daughter's iPhone was receiving them because the senders were using iMessage (which I don't use). I was able to repair that situation but my bigger question is whether I can find a list of all devices using my account info to log into iMessage and remove them so that I receive every text sent to my iPhone.
I have an iPhone 4S and an iPad 2, when i'm using iMessage on my iPad and disable my iPhones iMessage it's fine.. after i enable iMessage again, all the messages come through and its just a headache to make it stop... what could i do so i could use iMessage on both devices without messing around?
I'm trying to sync iMessage between my iPhone 4S and iPad (3rd gen., wifi only) and it only syncs up maybe 10% of the time. I have the same Caller ID on my iPhone and iPad, switched my DNS to 8.8.8.8, rebooted both devices, deleted all prior messages. I even used my @me.com email address as the Call ID and both my iPhone and iPad synced messages but only for a few days and then stopped working.
I don't like when things from my phone sync to my iPad or iPod, so I am wondering if there is a way to keep the texts on my phone and off of everything else. I share my iPad with others and don't want to be in the middle of a conversation when all of a sudden it just appears while someone else is using the iPad. In addition, I don't want the messages to syn to the computer when I plug my phone in, as I also share the computer with others. This has kept me from using iMessage because of how iCloud works
I don't understand how to continue a discussion from one device to another. I have the same email address in my iMessage settings on my iPhone and my iPad but I can't see the conversation on my iPad as I would have expected.
My Nokia 6790 came with Ovi Maps installed, however when I try to upgrade I am asked to select the model from a list, and the 6790 is not listed. Why is 6790 not currently in the list of supported devices?
Is there a easy way to find friends on imessage, that way I know who is using iOS, which will make it easy to share new apps news. I mean non iOS device friends get ****** when they get apple related news. just a thought (as friends keep getting new iPhone/iPod or get new @me)
I have 5 mails at iMessage. One of them is my AppleID, is there any way to find out at what email they send me iMessage? I use all emails and some of my contacts know only 1 or 2 or 3 of them. I want to know in what mail they send me that I will use the same at future.
find a list of processes on Iphone 4 that should normaly be running. This is needed to check if there are any other running processes that could use to make fraud or to tap the line.Â
I discovered that my curve 8520's bluetooth can find other devices like nokia, samsung, etc that have bluetooth too when they are ON but does not pair with them therefore could not receive or transfer file with other phones. How should I go about it.
Does anyone know where to find the devices bookmark files that I have for the browser? I have conneced the device to my computer via usb and I'm looking through all the files via file explorer?
I just returned from a two-day road trip and used my iPhone's Music app on shuffle for my soundtrack. I'd like to see a list of the songs that were played (in order) but can't seem to find a log or history. I went to the last song played and tapped the Back button until it reached the first song but I errantly tapped it one more time and it took me to the main menu and I couldn't return to my songs in the order they were played.
I have 2 symbols on my phone. One is a little house with a chimney next to the Orange logo - it is sometimes green and sometimes red. The other symbol is sometimes on the left of the 3G and I can only describe it as a box with a dot in the middle and a hook coming out of the top!
