IPhone 4s :: Bluetooth Won't Come On Automatically When Get In Car
Dec 6, 2014
My Bluetooth won't work automatically when I turn on my car radio unless I press "Not Connected" on my phone bluetooth even though it is on. How I can make this an automatic function when the radio and bluetooth are on?
Info:
iPhone 4S, iOS 7.1.2, Car is Subaru Forester 2014
The bluetooth on my BB curve has stopped connecting to the blue tooth in my car automatically. If I delete the device and then add it as a new one it works fine, but if I turn the radio off and then on again it connects for a second but then losses it. The BB connects to my other car straight away.
I can make the phone connect by going to Manage Connections, and turning the Bluetooth selection OFF then immediately back ON.How do I set the phone so it always connects with vehicle Bluetooth everytime I get in? This is important. My Bluetooth device is a Parrot CK 3000 Evolution, built into the vehicle's sound system.
My phone is set to connect automatically to my Bluetooth car kit at power up. Recently I have been getting a yes/no question whether I want to connect. How do I get back to automatic connect?
Whenever I call or received a phone call It keeps automatically going through bluetooth so I cannot hear anything. I have disable the bluetooth and deleted all the paired devices but still not working. I have to manually when someone call me, I have to go into menu and click headset. Its definitely going through bluetooth because I can see top left screen when I call or receive a phone call there a a phone and bluetooth next to each other.
I am experiencing a glitch with my bluetooth. It switches on automatically. After turning it off, sometimes it turns on again after a few seconds to minutes. If I am lucky enough, it acts fine for a day. Then glitching again. What can I do about this? I had upgraded to lollipop.
My Z3 is acting up. My Bluetooth and Airplane mode will turn on automatically and when I turn my phone on, sometimes my messaging will be open with words like: awsdt jgtuio gods. Also, today my Facebook opened on it's own and was going to post letters like above on it.
I'm having a problem with automatically connecting to my car's handsfree system, I have to go to bluetooth settings every time to get it to connect. Connecting manually works ok though but is very tedious in the long run and not how bluetooth should work to my understanding.
My boyfriend has been trying to send me pictures from his n900 to my 8900 curve ,connection fails automatically, when tries to send me a file it asks on my bb if this code matches, and it never does.i can send to him,but he can't send to me.
I have a problem with Bluetooth. I usually use stamina mode. When I off Bluetooth, it's automatically switch on after some time. It's annoying to switch off it again. It happens many time per day.
How to change the default app that gets launched when Bluetooth connects? It seems to always launch the built in music app which is definitely not what I want. Can I set this to Spotify or something else?
My phone automatically connects through Bluetooth to my 2012 Lexus and works just fine. However, contacts will not transfer. Is there a setting on the phone I need to change?
I'm quite happy with the RAZR but it won't install bluetooth drivers on windows 7 automatically. Is there a link to download and install the correct drivers?
I have a Droid Pro and a 2011 GMC Sierra with Bluetooth. After about 4 days of using the bluetooth feature constantly, I was in the middle of a call and heard a very loud echo/feedback sound. I looked down and the green bar on my "bluetooth" button was out. This now happens frequently and the only way to get it to stop (temporarily) is to power down and remove the battery for a brief period of time. When this does happen, I can tap the button again and it will usually go back to bluetooth, but only for a minute or two, then it turns off again. I really need a remedy.
Is there a way for Bluetooth to turn on automatically when the phone is in drive mode? I have already paired my Bluetooth car stereo with my phone. I do not want to use NFC tags or paid apps like Tasker.
I have set up my bluetooth to work on my Ford Focus Audio system. Followed the instructions:
- Paired the devices. - Entered the code given by the audio unit. - Confirmed that they were connected.
The blackberry asked if I wanted the phone to connect automatically to the unit (So I don't have to go through the process of waiting for, and accepting a connection on the phone. Drove to the garage to get fuel and turned off the engine. Got back in the car started up and drove off. At this point the phone should have connected automatically like my old Nokia. No sign of it doing so. On stopping I looked at the phone and it was asking to accept a connection from Ford Audio. This is not automatic connecting. Automatic connecting is the phone linking up itself as soon as I get in and switch the radio unit on. So why hasn't this worked?
I've had problems connecting to any blue tooth aparatus. I've tried with a couple of headsets and then this week I had a problem connecting to the bluetooth in the Sonata I rented. The bluetooth will connect but almost immediately drop the bluetooth connection.
I have a iPhone 6 (32gb) OS version 8.1.1 and a Jabra BCE-BT350 bluetooth ear piece. For the last month or two every time I make a call using my bluetooth it rings once on my bluetooth then automatically switches over to my iPhone speaker (not loud speaker, just regular). I have to get my iPhone and manually select my bluetooth device as the speaker, which defeats the safety feature of using a bluetooth. I've had this bluetooth for a while now and never had this issue until recently. Not sure its an issue with iPhone 6, OS 8, settings or Jabra.
Info: Mac Pro, OS X Yosemite (10.10), D700, 16GB, 12 Core
just wondered if its possible to connect BOTH bluetooth keyboard and a bluetooth headset at the same time in iPhone 4 OS? or is it as its now and can only support one connection at time?
Bluetooth does not work. Under settings the bluetooth indicator says "off." When I click on bluetooth though, it goes to the bluetooth page with the wheel automatically spinning without prompting me to turn it on or off. It does not say searching for any devices, however the wheel at the top beside bluetooth still spins. Both bluetooth headsets I have used before with the iphone work with all other phones in the house. This problem started about a week ago and I have had my phone for almost a year, never had this problem before. I have tried a hard reset, restoring to factory settings, reseting all settings, switching to airplane mode, but nothing seems to work as it still does the same thing. I am running iOS 5.1.
My E71 used to work fine in car hands free via bluetooth - now it pairs OK but then gives "unable to create bluetooth connection" message. Another E71 works fine.
I did try (twice) to e-mail Nokia care - each time I filled in all details only to get a Gateway timeout message when I tried to send it - and all details wiped out!
