Recently my iPhone 4 has been turning on and off randomly and then it completely turned off and wouldn't turn back on. So I had the battery changed. I still have the same problem and when I try to charge my phone or connect it to my computer the apple logo just keeps appearing and then disappearing. I have tried many times to put my phone in recovery mode but iTunes does not recognize it. My phone has been like this for a week now and I don't know what else to do.
My iPhone 4s randomly turns off by itself and won't turn on unless I reset it (press home button and power button simultaneously). Is there something wrong with the software? I tried going to my provider (Sprint) but they did not do anything to fix it.
I have a problem with my iPhone 4. It randomly shuts off and wont turn on again until i plug in the charger. This happens at least once a day and is extremly annoying and i canīt really use it anymore. Iīve tried a reset but with no results.
I bought my S6 about 3 weeks ago. I was using it normally, but then I left it and when I came back it wouldn't turn on unless I pressed the volume down key too. After that it kept turning off after 15-30 minutes I turned it on, everytime, and then it simply wouldn't turn on whatever i did, even if a pressed all 4 buttons for 10 seconds. Then I simply pressed the power button and it turned on. It behaved normally for that whole day.
I went to sleep with 45% battery and it died. Again it wouldn't turn on unmattering what i did, and after like 5 hours i pressed the volume down and power again and it turned on (after many tries), wtih 27% battery - and it was always off, but after like 2 minutes it died again, and only turned on, after many tries, when I presed vlm dwn, power and home together, giving me the restart screen with 7% charge. (not that dos/cmd-like, with hard reset and all, only a custom os and restart). it worked normally (draining battery fast), and then shut down again, even if i was charging it, though the whatsapp green led is flashing, so i think it's not completely off.
Randomly, say one in 10 times, when I hang up a phonecall on the Iphone 4s, my flashlight comes on.I checked the accessibility settings and they are all turned off. I don't want to upgrade to the latest OS?
If I'm home, connected to my home WiFi, sometimes my wifi will just randomly turn itself off.. And then when I'm out (let's say I'm driving around) my WiFi will just randomly turn itself on. I have a Sprint S6 and I have connections optimizer deleted (using Titanium Backup) and I have "always allow scanning" OFF and "keep WiFi on during sleep" ON.
Since my May 2011 update, once every two or so days, a song I don't know plays through my phone. You can't turn it off. I don't know where it is playing from.
My phone randomly shuts off and won't allow me to turn it back on. previously its done so and after battery removal and some waiting it will turn back on. This time all I get when I put in battery is a red light on out side of phone and it will not turn back on.
I went for a run today and noticed that the stopwatch would randomly turn itself off during my run. It happened twice and at first I thought may have inadvertently did it myself, but then I checked again when I got home and after 3 minutes and change it reset back to 0 on its own. I restart every few days and do a partition wipe at least once a month.
So I am totally new to the smart phone idea and I have a problem. My blackberry will just randomly turn itself off, and I can't turn it back on. The screen just fades to black and then nothing, until a few hours later...what in the heck?
How to stop it? The schedule function is off, so it can't be that. I've enabled the exception for alarms within it since this keeps happening, but could be dangerous for some people if it does enable on its own like this.
I recently purchased the Droid Bionic approximately 2 weeks ago. I got one for my husband also. Recently, my phone has been randomly shutting off and the only way to turn it back on is to remove the battery. It has also happened when the phone is on and I am charging it. My husband's phone has not randomly shut off at any time. I have downloaded a few apps which include Accuweather, Go SMS pro and PicSpeed Wallpaper. I also inserted my micro SD card from my old phone into the new phone which I just removed to see if the phone will randomly shut down. I also do not have the pocket detector on.
Lightflow making the phone screen turn on randomly when sitting on a table? The colors for the notifications are correct, but becausue of the screen coming on alot randomly this is going to kill the battery life. I even enabled a setting to reduce this in light flow but nothing works. How to have lightflow working correctly?

My phone is at 46%, I'll look at it a few minutes later and it says 5%. I'll plug it in and sometimes it'll start at 5% charging then jump to 46%, or just be at 46%... always with the same numbers.. I have the iPhone 4.
It's my boyfriend's iPhone & we've dropped it plenty of times in the past going on 6 months now, so you can imagine it has plenty of cracks & the back had come off to where we taped it back on. Recently - a few days to a week ago I dropped it & it seemed fine until I tried taking a picture of our cats and the camera opened to a black screen. Everything else works fine except the speaker when we call out we have to put it on speaker for someone to hear us - already tried cleaning out all the ports. I don't want him to go to the iPhone store and have them complain about all the issues wrong with the phone and go extreme bill on him either. Yes I have tried restarting his phone, I just don't want to completely reboot it when it's under his mom's account & her iCloud. & The front facing camera works.

My iPhone 3GS shuts down randomly everyday during use. Plenty of battery (more than 50% at the lowest). It just goes black. And there is a strange vertical banding in the black dead screen. Restarting begins working, apple logo appears, but after a long wait it just quits again and goes black. Again, there is plenty of battery charge, this can happen on a full charge. Have tried hard-restarting by pressing power and home with the same result. Only when I have plugged it into a power source does it boot. It can then be disconnected immediately and used for hours, or until it crashes again.
This often happens with angry birds (any version) but that's just because I play it too much, it can also happen using apple apps like mail

I purchased a new 16gb AT&T iPhone4s a few days ago and today when I went to use my phone I noticed it had turned off by itself. The only way I was able to power it back on was to hold the home and power buttons at the same time. I did a lot of research on the problem and saw that if the Diagnostics had a panic.plist that there are hardware errors or failures involved.
So I looked at my diagnostics and can confirm there are two logs with the panic.plist header. panic(cpu 0 caller 0x8007617c):lck_mtx)lock():mutex (0x9B5A2820): 0x000080000. The phone came preinstalled with OS 5.1.
So I am here to ask if this is a case where I have no choice but to replace my phone... From everything I've read it seems to be the case, but I've only had the phone for a few days and would be really upset if this were the case. I gave Apple a call and they said to basically not worry about it unless it happens again... but after doing the research it has just got me more worried.

Okay so i got a gamestop refurbished iPhone 3gs and yesterday everything was working out great and the phone was working fine. Today on the other hand, i encountered my phone randomly shutting off by itself. Once it did it when i opened the camera app and the others were from txt messages or using the internet. The battery was around 50% or so too so it was far from a dead battery. Once the phone shuts off, sometimes i can reboot the phone and other times i need to plug it in to reboot.
