Jan 7, 2015When my phone is locked I press the home button and nothing happens. I press it again and nothing happens. I can't see anything. If I do my unlock pattern it works but I still can't see anything. If I press the lock button twice it will then light up the screen. I've changed launches and it still does this.

Oct 30, 2015So just got my 6p yesterday but it seems as though ambient display although turned on is not working ND when I answer a phone call my screen stays black during the call and won't wake up.
So apparently it's because the tempered glass screen protector is covering the proximity sensor. I still have to actually test that theory out once I get a new protector but from doing some digging that most def it. Just a heads up I used the one by super shieldz so don't buy that one until they make a cut out for the sensor.

Dec 28, 2015My phone was working fine one minute, but the next thing I know it turns off, the led starts blinking blue and the screen refuses to turn on. If I hold the volume button and the power button, the phone vibrates and the led stops blinking indicating that the phone powered off. I can then power it back on and it vibrates and the led starts blinking again indicating it is powered on, but the screen remains completely black and does not show any boot up animations or respond to any touches. As you can probably guess, with an unresponsive display I can't boot into recovery mode or anything.

Jul 1, 2014I updated my software yesterday or today (cannot remember) to iOS 7.1.2, and now my phone keeps rebooting itself after it automatically locks. (I dpn't know if the software update is related to my phone not working) The screen turns black and nothing is on the display, however the phone is still on. I can occasionally hear incoming texts, also when called, phone does not go straight to voicemail. My iPhone will occasionally let me restart it by holding down the home and power button. Apr 17, 2012I have updated my iPhone 4 from iOS 5.0.1 to 5.1. The screen went black and start vibrating, I couldn't restore or have it hard reset. I let it vibrating for 4 hours until the battery went off. Then I used the restore through iTunes (lock+home keys for 10 sec then only home key) and manage to restore the phone with iOS 5.1 (not 5.0.1 that was the initial iOS - I don't know how it did that since i factory reset it. The problem now is that I got a big rectangle (75% of the screen) in the middle of the screen that flicks all the time (when the screen is black you can see the rectangle in the middle of the screen as grey). The phone is brand new, I just activated it today.

Mar 8, 2015As soon as I hit the green handset to start a call on my S5 with the Android upgrade, the display immediately turns off. I need it to stay on so I can sometimes use the keypad. Before the upgrade, the display would stay on for me. This is not related to the device setting for display timeout, as the timing is different than when the screen is generally on, but inactive. Also, the option to keep the screen on while I look at it isn't useful in this case. It used to work, then stopped with the upgrade.

Jun 3, 2010Anyone have any idea why my nuron 5230's camera wont start up? it just gives me a blank black screen and when i try to switch it to video mode it tells me "memory is full switch memory?" then i click yes but it just crashes and brings me back to the home screen. anyone have any idea whats wrong? or any fixes? i already tried to take the battery off, restore to factory settings, and that reset [press and hold green, red, camera, and power button till phone boots up] but its still like this.
