Iphone 4, my ringer display stays on almost all of the time. When I try to minimise ring tone on button, it just increases back up again, as well as the ringer display remaining on the screen.
I have tried turning off and leaving off for a while holding top and front buttons at same time to 'de bug'
So just got my 6p yesterday but it seems as though ambient display although turned on is not working ND when I answer a phone call my screen stays black during the call and won't wake up.
So apparently it's because the tempered glass screen protector is covering the proximity sensor. I still have to actually test that theory out once I get a new protector but from doing some digging that most def it. Just a heads up I used the one by super shieldz so don't buy that one until they make a cut out for the sensor.
As of yesterday, my sound on my phone will not work. No ringer, no text, no alarms, no music.etc. I have checked all the settings and made sure the volume on the side control panel is on.I did just update my Apple phone, Mac, & iTunes the other day.Would this have anything to do with it?
My iphone ringer sometimes not working. Specially MSGs, Music, Videos. Im in IOS 8.1.2. at those times when i press sound increase buttons it shows like this.
I wanted to know, why is the ringtones audio way louder than the actual song playing on my iphone music section? For example, If I have "Audio1.mp3" playing on my iphone at full volume on the speaker, no headphones, it's pretty low, howeaver, when I play that same song "Audio1.mp3" as my ringtone, same source, same audio file, only cut to 30 seconds, it's way louder than the actual song playing on my phone's music library?
My ringer won't make sound when I recieve a call or text and the keyboard makes no sounds. I have turned off/reset my phone twice. The sound setting is all the way up.
Apple finally got around to fixing the drop call / no call volume problem with the 4s via iOS 4.1. Now, after fixing that problem, the volume spontaneously turns itself down. Sometimes I can't get rid of the volume icon.
my iPhone went silent. in settings I tried all things. I have it on vibrate which I tried turning off, but that didn't work either. how can I fix this?
I have a iPhone 3GS and the problem is that the ringer doesn't make any sound! youtube is fine, music is fine, when I go to settings to hear my ringer sound it works fine, but when someone actually texts me or I get a notification it doesn't make sound! also on twitter when i watch a vine there is no sound on that also. so What I am supposed to do.
recently started using an iphone 5c. Even though the sound is set to a ringtone, it only vibrates. I have checked all the sound settings I am aware of.
I no longer hear any key clicks or notification sounds, only a faint buzz from vibration, on my iphone 4S. Ringtone is still audible. Siri is also muted though I see the microphone is being activated. However, no other tones are. Checked all settings in sounds and all seems correct. When I push the volume button on the side, the display says ringer (headphones). So, I plugged headphones in and I am able to hear all of the sounds through them but not without the headphones. I've tried turning the phone off and on again and resetting with no results.
My ringer is stuck on headphone mode and I cannot hear when it rings. My headphones are not connected and I cannot get phone to return to normal ringer. What setting do I change to fix?
This seems like it might be useful for most people: I want my ringer volume low when still or at home etc, and High when on the move. (I don't drive) Any Apps do this? Can it be done by writing my own App?
