IPad Sees Router And Internet But IPhone 5 Does Not

Why can my iPhone 5 see my wireless router but not connect to the internet while my iPad Air connects just fine? I even submitted this question from my iPad. I tried, in no particular order, plugging and unplugging the power and connection cables on the router, restarting my phone, renewing the lease and still nothing. I tried my phone on another router and while more consistent it still wasn't constant. I can use cellular internet but I would rather not put the extra drain on the already fast draining battery.
Can I use internet tethering to link my iPad 3WIFI to the internet through my iPhone 3GS? My provider O2 assures me I can with the tariff I have for my iPhone. If so, how do I do it?
I have a 64G iPhone 4S. When I plug the phone into my Mac Book Pro, iTunes recognizes my phone and begins to sync but NEVER actually syncs. It times out and say that iTunes is unable to sync with phone. I have tried everything that I know and everything that two Apple tech people know. Uninstalled iTunes, reset and restored the iPhone. Apple sent me a new phone and it still doesn't work!! My wife's iPhone 4 syncs fine with the same computer. I have even tried syncing my 4S with a different computer and it does the same thing. I even took my Mac to two other Internet/network sources to see if the routers or network settings was the issue and it still doesn't sync!
I have a W910i Sony Ericsson phone. And we have WIFI connection in my home and at my work place. Thus, we have our own wireless router. Is it possible for me to connect to our WIFI connection using my W910i? If it is possible, how will I connect to it?
Does the 5230 have the functions to access my wireless router?It would be nice to be able to access the web and such when home to download stuff at high speed over my cable internet.

Just recently my pc began having a problem recognizing my Bravo as a phone. Until then everything was fine.Now when I plug my Bravo into a USB port, I hear a chime, but no window opens.When I go to My Computer, the phone is shown as Removeable Disk (X:).When I double click on it, a small window opens with this message: "Insert Disk.Please insert a disk into drive X:." Under properties, it appears as Motorola MB520 USB Device, a disk drive.After plenty of research, I have tried changing the assigned letter of the drive twice.Every other USB device I own works just fine on my PC. The only way I can access the phone on my PC is to turn off the pc, connect the phone, power on the pc, and then the phone appears as a phone. When I connect the phone to another pc, the phone appears as it should.Some research shows this problem may be related to Acronis on my pc, but another pc with Acronis on it can recognize my phone. Could this be the result of disconnecting the phone without "preparing" the disconnect?
My iphone 5 detects wifi only when near to the router but is not detected if I move a few steps. My brother's iphone 5S and my dad's 5 are working fine with same router. They are able to access it upto 30 feet but i cant even extend it more than 10 feet.
Tether a wireless router? With jail break 3GS 3.1.3, can one connect it to a wireless router that has a USB port for an aircard, but instead of using an ATT aircard, use the iphone w/ a USB card ? Would like to do this because for my purposes I have both laptop an desktop running, but use them for different things.
My iPhone 4 always looses wifi connectivity to my Wifi router and doesn't want to connect again. After turning the phone off and on again, wifi in the settings is now greyed out and unusable.
My iPhone 4 (version 5.1.1) uses 3G unless I'm right on top of the router in my home. I've already exceeded my monthly data allowance because of this. My phone company was less than helpful. None of my other wireless devices (kindle fire, iPad, iPhone 3GS, laptop) has this problem.

IMy iPhone 5s will not accept the password for my new Netgears Nighthawk AC1900 router. My iPad Air, another iPhone 5 and another iPad Air as well as our PCs all accept the same password.
I have changed my router; all my devices (2 x iPad, Blackberry, Samsung TV) have seen and remembered this as my new network and are working fine, however, my 2 x iPhones (1 x iPhone3, 1 iPhone4 both with ios5.1) will not 'remember' this new network. They see it fine and and I can login and use it fine, but I am asked for the password every time. I have reset networks, but couldn't 'forget this network' as the option is not available. This is strange and is frustrating me as I can't understand why all works fine on my brand-new iPad3s!
I have a Linksys WRT310N wireless router. My iPhone 4s won't connect to the router in Wireless N only mode. I have set the radio band to the 20Mhz channel and picked a channel. It refuses to connect. However, if I choose mixed mode it works. How can I get it to connect in N-only mode with a Linksys router?
My iphone 4 used to connect to my wifi but now its won't connect it keeps on asking for the passcode for the router so I type it in and it just keeps asking for it. it used to connect fine then it just stopped.
My netgear router is generating 192.168.0.1 and other wireless devices are connected to it. My iphone 3g is also connected to the same network but IP address shows 169.254.xxx.xxx. And does not browse or connect to internet.

i am not able to connect my belkin router using WI-Fi.i have tried the network reset and the phone reset but still same issue. I am able to connect my Dell Laptop and also my HTC One X but not IPHONE.
