IPhone :: ITunes Sees 4S But Will Not Sync
May 14, 2012I have a 64G iPhone 4S. When I plug the phone into my Mac Book Pro, iTunes recognizes my phone and begins to sync but NEVER actually syncs. It times out and say that iTunes is unable to sync with phone. I have tried everything that I know and everything that two Apple tech people know. Uninstalled iTunes, reset and restored the iPhone. Apple sent me a new phone and it still doesn't work!! My wife's iPhone 4 syncs fine with the same computer. I have even tried syncing my 4S with a different computer and it does the same thing. I even took my Mac to two other Internet/network sources to see if the routers or network settings was the issue and it still doesn't sync!

Sep 3, 2014Why can my iPhone 5 see my wireless router but not connect to the internet while my iPad Air connects just fine? I even submitted this question from my iPad. I tried, in no particular order, plugging and unplugging the power and connection cables on the router, restarting my phone, renewing the lease and still nothing. I tried my phone on another router and while more consistent it still wasn't constant. I can use cellular internet but I would rather not put the extra drain on the already fast draining battery.

Until then everything was fine.Now when I plug my Bravo into a USB port, I hear a chime, but no window opens.When I go to My Computer, the phone is shown as Removeable Disk (X:).When I double click on it, a small window opens with this message: "Insert Disk.Please insert a disk into drive X:." Under properties, it appears as Motorola MB520 USB Device, a disk drive.After plenty of research, I have tried changing the assigned letter of the drive twice.Every other USB device I own works just fine on my PC. The only way I can access the phone on my PC is to turn off the pc, connect the phone, power on the pc, and then the phone appears as a phone. When I connect the phone to another pc, the phone appears as it should.Some research shows this problem may be related to Acronis on my pc, but another pc with Acronis on it can recognize my phone. Could this be the result of disconnecting the phone without "preparing" the disconnect?

Dec 2, 2014I have a iPhone 6 (32gb) OS version 8.1.1 and a Jabra BCE-BT350 bluetooth ear piece. For the last month or two every time I make a call using my bluetooth it rings once on my bluetooth then automatically switches over to my iPhone speaker (not loud speaker, just regular). I have to get my iPhone and manually select my bluetooth device as the speaker, which defeats the safety feature of using a bluetooth. I've had this bluetooth for a while now and never had this issue until recently. Not sure its an issue with iPhone 6, OS 8, settings or Jabra.

When I click on bluetooth though, it goes to the bluetooth page with the wheel automatically spinning without prompting me to turn it on or off. It does not say searching for any devices, however the wheel at the top beside bluetooth still spins. Both bluetooth headsets I have used before with the iphone work with all other phones in the house. This problem started about a week ago and I have had my phone for almost a year, never had this problem before. Aug 9, 2010I have had an original iPhone and an iPhone 3gs. Now I have an iPhone 4. I drive a Corolla with bluetooth in the steering wheel. When I am listening to music with the phone plugged in via the AUX jack, it used to automatically switch to the car speaker and the car mic. Now with the new phone, whenever I listen to music and answer the phone, the car speaker picks it up, but the phone mic remains. On top of that, the people I talk to say there is an echo, so I'm thinking its maybe the noise canceling mic on the phone? I took the phone to the Apple store and the guy pretty much blew me off and made a minimal effort.
