I tried to add facebook account in Timescape but it showed error like: "An error occurred with xperia smartphone from sony. Please try again later." I have enabled facebook featuress in setting->Xperia->Sony facebook integration but i got the same error.

View 3 Replies View RelatedI dont know if this is only my issue or all face the same but the calender sync of Facebook integration app of Xperia phone(my is Xperia Neo V) downloads lot of unnecessary data in background.(The attached image shown is screenshot of DataUsage on a GPRS 1GB data plan for 21 days... and rest is self explainatory)Also when I switched off the Facebok integration option on the Setting>Xperia, my battery life increased by almost 1 day completely(with GPRS on all the times). In all my phone now lives 2 days with ease before recharging(NOTE: only 30 mins of games and 3 hrs of music was done). I would have love to attach the screenshot but by that time display overtook the battery discharge usage.I would like Sony Engineers to review the Xperia Facebook Integration program code to debug the issue.
PS: I am also having trouble with wifi connectivity using Netgear router. Dlink worked fine. others still not tested.
Firstly, when I watch video on youtube about 4-6 clips - the error message appear: "Please touch to try again" - even I touch multiple times it still can not play.
Then, I go to the Video App (Sony), surprisingly, the video didn't play. It appear an error message: "Can not play this video" - I try with every single video on my phone and still has the same error message.
And more surprisingly, even the video on facebook have the same problem too.
So it must be like: If I watch video on any app, suddenly the clip can not play or just keep loading infinity, these app will be "infected" immideately (at the same time as well). The only thing I can do is reboot the phone.
I know reboot phone is just spend my little time around 15-30 seconds maybe. But it is very annoying to happen with very frequently.
This error is constantly coming up. I force close it and it just pops up again 5 - 10 seconds later.The application Sony Ericsson Facebook (process com.sonyericsson.facebook.service) has stopped unexpectedly. Please try again."

i hav actually grown tired of trying to find solution to this problem, however, if there's a designated software for moving files from pc to flash drive i'd try and use it, and maybe I'll avoid that problem.

View 3 Replies View RelatedSo i recently bought a z5 compact (unlocked) after i finally managed to destroy my z3 compact. My phone will not tether and it's driving me crazy. Every time i try, either the normal wifi hotspot, bluetooth or usb tethering, it says that everything's connected but then says "error occurred during tethering" and won't actually connect.
Troubleshooting: I was using the same virgin mobile sim (post paid, used in the z3 compact and temporary Xperia SP with no issues), and i work at virgin mobile so i am absolutely sure my apn settings are correct and that the setting is on in my account.
I went to Telstra where i bought the phone and they replaced it under warranty - it still doesn't work.
Im currently visiting the us and I'm using a prepaid lyca mobile sim with 10gb including tethering.
When I turn on wifi hotspot, it is saying 'error occurred during tethering'....
View 3 Replies View RelatedSo I plugged my x10 into the computer today to update the software. PC Companion did nothing for me when I used it before, so I used the update service directly from SE. Unfortunately, wasn't available this time, so I gave using PC Companion another shot. So my phone got about halfway through the update process before saying an error occurred, and the update couldn't be completed. So I went back a step and redid the prepping 3 times in a row, each time telling me to go back. Now my phone wont even turn on, I feel a vibration when I press the on button but that's it. The computer isn't even recognizing the phone as an x10 anymore, and whenever I try to do PCC recognition, it won't connect. SO all in all, PC Companion screwed me over.

The very first time that I tried to login several months ago I received the Error Message: "An Internal Error has Occurred. Please Log Out and Log In again." I have rteceived the same message intermittenlty since then and also today. This seems to me a problem with the servers not adequate to the demand and should be relatively easy to remedy. i use a variety to fitness sites -- Strava, Edomondo, Garmin Connect, Training Peaks -- and have never received a simmiliar message. I think Motorola should get a handle on this problem.

i have a problem with my arc handset. me and my girlfriend both have the arc with andriod 2.3.3. the problem is if someone writes on my partners wall on facebook she recieves a notification on the notification bar on the top of the phone, however mine does not. ive reinstalled facebook app on the phone and even reinstalled the whole phone from scratch. ive gone through all settings to make sure there all the same and im at my wites end.
View 8 Replies View RelatedI bought the xperia pro 4 days ago, and I love the qwerty keyboard! Unfortunately it won't recognize my SIMcard, but maybe that's because it's kinda old (3 yrs). So I will get a new sim. But now I can't get facebook to upload my photo's. After I have tried to upload a photo, it fails and I can't even reload my newsfeed. Same problem with twitter. After I restart my Pro, facebook works fine again, but as soon as I try to add a picture it fails. Browser works fine, and there's nothing wrong with the internetconnection (I use WIFI). I'm starting to think that maybe there's something wrong with this particular mobile. Or is this a common problem? Or Android problem? I can bring it back to the store (within 7 days), which I will if I don't get it to work.

I recently upgraded my Facebook app to the 2.1 version, so I am happy to say I can now upload You Tube clips (even though I never got to use the "Check In" section of FB), buy hey ho. My new gripe is that since upgrading, I now can't edit my profile, or add friends.....when I go to add a friend, I get the following error message: "Cannot fetch the user data at this time. Please try again later. [Unexpected end of json input]". Oh, and it doesn't let me "try again later", as I just get the same message.
