i hav actually grown tired of trying to find solution to this problem, however, if there's a designated software for moving files from pc to flash drive i'd try and use it, and maybe I'll avoid that problem.

View 1 Replies View RelatedMy Sony Ericsson W595, on Vodafone can not read my memory card. It was working properly until last night when I clicked on Media & Photos, and I was told I had no pictures. I went to file manager and onto the memory card files and it said 'no files'. Does anybody know how to fix this or what is wrong with it? My phone memory is still normal and everything else functions properly, except for my memory card. I updated it and I even checked if its placed in properly but nothing seems to help. My memory card is a San Disk M2 with 2GB Memory storage.

Then a few minutes later all of my messages disappeared! So now I have no contacts and no messages. I got my mum to call my phone and it just came up as her number, I then pressed to view my call list and it said it was empty!
View 2 Replies View RelatedI am having this weird issue with my w595 phone. It has worked perfectly for the last 10 months. But, now the display shows up only intermittently. The display goes blank at times. If you wait for an hour or so, it suddenly comes back up and works without any issue for several hours. Then, you wait for a little bit and the screen goes blank again. What do I need to do to resolve this issue?

I've reinstalled the firmware, the FS, and even tried the MASTER RESET on it...nothing worked! It used to work fine, one day I copied a lot of java games on it and its been like that ever since even after all the resetting.

When I tried to do this file by file, it did the same thing, and I waited for half an hour, before trying to exit, (the phone didnt respond) and I had to get the battery out to restart the phone! View 4 Replies View RelatedI just bought W205, couse my good old W880i died on me. In start there were some broblems, because it didnīt recognise any of music files from my 2G memory card. Well i run software update, even it was up to date and hey, it allmost worked. Now the music player regognises mp3 files just fine, but files that are in m4a format, (that i got most of my music) is not regognised. It cant handle them in proper way. It shows songs names, but dont put them in proper albumwiew, and wont play them at all. Thatīs very weird, because i had no broblem with them on my old W880i. If i go to filehandling and browse memorycards files from there, they works just fine, but that is not actually musicplayer, isnīt it! So. How can i play my music files in this MUSIC-phone i just bought?

Today I got the phone and have been transferring stuff of my own e.g. photos, mp3s etc using windows explorer. When I transfer them to a new folder on the memory card I get weird garbled looking files as well appearing in the folder.
I have tried: Formatting the memory card. Deleting the folder (which I have to do by switching the phone of and back on first as it says it cant delete as there are files in). Adding a new folder same thing happens. I can upload a picture if it helps.

View 7 Replies View RelatedI just received a m2 card from a friend who didn't need it anymore, but for some reason my phone is unable to detect it. My card reader is able to detect it, and i can access it through my phone while it's connected in file transfer mode. However, my phone says there is no memory card inserted, and my computer is unable to detect the card when the mobile is connected in phone mode. I've tried formatting it in both FAT and FAT32 with several different cluster sizes, but it makes no difference. Would appreciate some input!

It didn't work, and my 2GB memory card spoiled. I had to transfer stuff to my phone by bluetooth. A few weeks later, i used the cable to transfer my photos to my computer. All my music suddenly disappeared. After i restarted the phone a few times, my music came back. The latest problem that i could not put up with was that all my games including the default games, disappeared after i transferred photos from my phone with the cable(again). I did not eject it properly. I tried restarting my phone several times, but it still didn't work, can anybody help me?

Anyone know if it will work? - what im after is being able to show family the pictures and vids stored on the phone, on the tv using the cable is this possible on the w595.
sony ericsson w595 is not working properly. I cannot get into the phone menu at all and so cannot access many things including the phone settings needed to reset it. Moreover the software updater in the pc suite says error repairing every time i try to repair it and if i directly download the updater it says no new software available.

My W595 has stopped recieving messages. My SIM works fine in other phones & can recieve messages. I have been onto my network (3 Ireland) & they have gone through all the possibilities form a network perspective & a phone perspective (as far as was possible) to no avail. It is not the service centre number (I went through that with the network provider) & I have tried resetting the phone but it still didn't work. I have no saved messages or any messages in my inbox, outbox or drafts & I have 21MB of memory left on the phone & 1891 MB left on the memory card so I don't think it's memory issue. I can send SMS messages without a problem but I cannot recieve any. Would anyone be able to advise as to what the problem is? The phone is still under warranty so I'll get it replaced if necessary but this forum may be an easier & quicker way to get this problem taken care of.
