I have Xperia Z2 and I can't get tethering working, when I turn it on i get a message 'an error occurred during tethering' I can still connect my laptop to the phone's wifi hotspot but only get local access. I am on Vodafone India and they support tethering and my mobile data is switched on. In my phone there is an APN named "euinternet" it is not deleted I have tried several times.
So i recently bought a z5 compact (unlocked) after i finally managed to destroy my z3 compact. My phone will not tether and it's driving me crazy. Every time i try, either the normal wifi hotspot, bluetooth or usb tethering, it says that everything's connected but then says "error occurred during tethering" and won't actually connect.
Troubleshooting: I was using the same virgin mobile sim (post paid, used in the z3 compact and temporary Xperia SP with no issues), and i work at virgin mobile so i am absolutely sure my apn settings are correct and that the setting is on in my account.
I went to Telstra where i bought the phone and they replaced it under warranty - it still doesn't work.
Im currently visiting the us and I'm using a prepaid lyca mobile sim with 10gb including tethering.
When I start the update service(seus) i get the following error:"An error has occurred. See the log file c:program files(x86)Sony ericssonupdate serviceworkspace.metadata.log." <ok> I have uninstalled seus as pc companion, rebooted, downloaded the newest seus and installed it and rebooted but i still get the error. The .log file:
I tried to add facebook account in Timescape but it showed error like: "An error occurred with xperia smartphone from sony. Please try again later." I have enabled facebook featuress in setting->Xperia->Sony facebook integration but i got the same error.
I have just done a software repair from PC Helper to enable me to be able to access the Android Marketplace. (something I've not been able to do since the day I got the phone, over a year ago). However, this has done a factory reset & I am now no longer able to access Facebook, which has been no problem since I got the phone.I'm getting a message which says 'an error had occurred during the sign in. try again later'?
So I plugged my x10 into the computer today to update the software. PC Companion did nothing for me when I used it before, so I used the update service directly from SE. Unfortunately, wasn't available this time, so I gave using PC Companion another shot. So my phone got about halfway through the update process before saying an error occurred, and the update couldn't be completed. So I went back a step and redid the prepping 3 times in a row, each time telling me to go back. Now my phone wont even turn on, I feel a vibration when I press the on button but that's it. The computer isn't even recognizing the phone as an x10 anymore, and whenever I try to do PCC recognition, it won't connect. SO all in all, PC Companion screwed me over.
Im unable to transfer files from my computer to my blackberry 8110. The device returns a general error [E:3] or [E:1003].how I can rectify this problem and continue transferring files to my phone?
I have been logging into the MotoACTV site for for abput two months now. The very first time that I tried to login several months ago I received the Error Message: "An Internal Error has Occurred. Please Log Out and Log In again." I have rteceived the same message intermittenlty since then and also today. This seems to me a problem with the servers not adequate to the demand and should be relatively easy to remedy. i use a variety to fitness sites -- Strava, Edomondo, Garmin Connect, Training Peaks -- and have never received a simmiliar message. I think Motorola should get a handle on this problem.
My Blackberry Protect read: BB protect is temporarily unavailable, and when i want to download it via App world it gives me this error message: (An error has occurred id: 40820)what can i do to download bb protect?
I'm using a 3GS on 3.1.2, jailbroken with Blacksn0w originally. I'm using an AT&T Pick Your Plan SIM (like I always have)
I'm trying to update to 4.0 with jailbreak using a custom cooked ipsw file with Snowbreeze 1.6.1 and keep getting error "The iPhone could not be restored. An unknown error occurred (2)."
I've tried both DFU mode AND Recovery mode. I also remembered to remove Saurik's server ip in the hosts file. I've tried uninstalling / reinstalling iTunes and rebooting. I even removed WiFi Sync software thinking that might have affected it somehow. I've uninstalled my vs/firewall software. NOTHING seems to work.
everytime i try downloading something from app store on my iphone it wont download, it keeps saying 'an unknown error has occurred' i dont know what to do. iv tried restarting my phone.
I tried updating my iphone to the newest software version today, it successfully loaded on itunes but when I plugged in my iphone to sync it, itunes told me that in order to update it I needed to restore my iphone, it is backed up so I said okay. My phone got through most of the process but then suddenly I got a message on itunes saying "The iphone could not be restored. An unknown error occurred (1)." "It has done this countless times
My phone won't restore and keeps coming up with error 21 . My security settings on my home computer haven't changed and the phone was only restored about 2 months ago. I have tried disabling my anti virus and stuff, but it still won't restore.
The only problem I'm having is with the Moto cast. I've done everything, I've installed on my computer. I've created a account, I've added folders. Beside my account user name is a green light. I've verify my e-mail address. When I try to finish set up on my razr and enter the exact e-mail & password I get the same error message.
Error Message: iTunes could not back up the iPhone because an error occurred. The thing is - I have no idea what error have I encountered! Usually, I would assume the previous backup file is corrupted and I will proceed to delete the old backups. I did the same this time round, and it's still unable to sync. Now I have no more backup files!I have tried -
1. Deleting old backup files.
2. Restarting iPhone 4S & iMAC.
3. Remove
