I'm trying to turn Wi-Fi off while my Mini Pro is sleeping, after screen lock. I've changed the settings (settings > Wi-Fi > Advanced) to Never, but Wi-Fi keeps turned on draining battery while the screen is locked. Is it another 4.1.B.0.431 issue?
My phone is a SK-17a (SI 1250-3555).
updated xperia mini to ics (twice) but still wifi is not connecting to any network as well as it says wifi is disabled

Things look pretty cool but cannot work out how to hang up a call when the screen has gone to sleep. It seems I must push the centre button to get the screen illuminated then depress the icon to hang up.
This seems a little odd to have to push two buttons to hang up.... Have I missed an easier way?

View 2 Replies View Relatedi have bought my x10 mini and i am update it from android 1.6 to android 2.1 by myself using sony PC companion. yes , i am able to install it in about 1 hour , i have notice that the battery consumption after the update is terrible, battery would not recover although the screen is turn off , battery temperature is about 34 deg celcius.I am then turn off all the data transfer , wifi , GPS, background process , kill all the running app application and measure the battery consumption rate !!! it give me 20 minute/percent of battery which is very not desired ! For "my" X10 mini SE 2.1 update ecleair got bug on CPU management, it run continously without going to sleep mode!

dont know why its doing this, tried going through settings and just hitting the wifi button, turns on easy enough but then quite quickly turns back off when phone goes into lock/sleep.

Mobile data is still in use and wifi is only switched to at the point the screen turns on.
X10 Mini 2.1. How do yo set the correct time down to the right second? Whatever I try its like 30 seconds off. I try setting it 30 sec early compared to real time, and also 30 sec late. But it still changes minute when the real time says like 18:15:30 (hh:mm:sec). I am setting it to manual and Im using the TV as an indication for the exact time. But the phone always changes minute about 30 seconds wrong, no matter how I try.

This works fine EXCEPT for when I use the sleep mode (Power button-Sleep). If I let it sleep over-night then wake it up, it does NOT require the PIN number. View 7 Replies View RelatedI wish Sony Mobile would revert from their stance of not offering the global equalizer setting by default to all apps. Before Lollipop landed the Clear Audio + setting applied to all apps including YouTube, Walkman, Radio Tunes etc. However, after lollipop landed this setting has been moved to an exclusive  setting that App developers have to specifically code for. This situation is not acceptable as if they enabled global support for the EQ then if one simply wishes to turn the EQ off they can do so in the sound settings. Now accept for a few music apps you have no option to use Sony Clear Audio + sound enhancements which is sad. The phones output volume is not that loud which makes this EQ settings important to give that extra punch in the music. To me this decision is a deal breaker as Samsung and Microsoft have the global EQ enabled. Sony's decision makes no sense to me and it ruins what would otherwise be the complete experience on the Z2.I am considering a Lumia currently but would like to stick with my Z2 if there is hope of resolving this issue soon.Â

View 3 Replies View RelatedI have just bought my Xperia Mini Pro and I have not been able to establish an internet connection through WiFi. It will start and there is a connection, but no data are collected. Internet does not work, or, I must end WiFi, re-open it, then I have internet for maybe 20 seconds, then internet disappears although the WiFi connection exists. I have downloaded WiFi Analyzer and that says I am connected. I have downloaded WiFi Fixer, that ends the WiFi connection and reassociates, then I can connect to the internet for some seconds, and again it is gone. I have read many complaints about the poor WiFi connection these last days, as I am searching the internet to find a solution. Can anyone please help me? Does anyone know how to solve this? I have a HTC Legend that connects just fine with WiFi, no problems at all. If this persists, I have no alternative but to take the phone back.

I've checked the router settings and the network uses all three interfaces - 802.11g/n/b and encryption is by WPA + WPA2 - so I believe that these are the correct settings for this phone.
