Jun 30, 2015Where should I send information about SERIOUS issue of new Lollipop on XPERIA Z3? Since last update from Kitkat the SteadyShot stabilization for video doesnt work (intelligent mode works standard). Previously great videos are now shaky and simply ugly. Probably Ill have to sell my Z3 if there will be no patch. Im filmaker who needs good video quality in his smartphone.

Mar 23, 2012I've recently acquired an Xperia Mini Pro (SK17i) with Android 2.3.4 but the screen is permanently in landscape mode. And before anyone says check display settings. Yes it is in auto rotate with full animations on. Tried repair from SE companion, hard and soft reset but to no avail.
When i check services using the *#*#7378423#*#* request, accelerometer appears to work just fine as does the Slide flip Keyboard count. I originally thought it might of been hardware fault. But these tell me otherwise.
Although, admittedly it did switch to portrait view once for a split second whilst sliding the keyboard in half way. I haven't been able to replicate it since.

Mar 5, 2015Sometimes, touching was not enabled when I tried to slide the menu page (with an menu icon) on certain apps and, slide menu page on the left of some websites or by tapping on the menu icon on those sites; I have had to tap the second time or so to make it responded.
Next, connecting Z3 with Wi-Fi sometimes took past a minute over till I opened Wi-Fi setting (where from there I can view Wi-Fi networks).

Xperia Pro/Neo/V/L :: Tethering/Wifi Hotspot No Internet Access 3g Disabled?
May 22, 2012I've been trying to tether my Sony Erricson Xperia Neo to a laptop pc. Android OS.I first tried USB tethering but my laptop had no internet access, so I instead tried setting up a portable wifi hotspot to see if that would work. My laptop recognised the network I had created and I joined it succesfully, but I had no internet access. (Note: When I used USB tethering another network was recognised by the laptop)
I checked my phone and the 3g icon which shows that mobile internet is enabled (the two little verticle arrows with 3g above them) were not visible, but when I disabled the wi-fi hotspot, the icon appeared again. I'm not sure whether this is normal but could it be that 3g is being disabled with the activation of hotspotting, or is it just hidden automatically when wi-fi hotspotting is disabled? I find sometimes that the 3g icon disapears for no reason in areas I previously have had good signal, and then when I try and connect it takes a few seconds and then the icon appears again and I can connect.

I have read many posts about removing apps but the 'purchase' history is left behind, not good enough, I want everything gone, including history, I need to know how to remove this rubbish history. Every other piece of software I have ever bought for any device allowed me to uninstall it completely so I can divine no reason not to provide this feature. I know about the 'ability to reload purchases' stuff but these app's were free so this is irrelevant. Even if they were paid for surely it is my right to remove them completely fully understanding that if required again I will need to buy them again.

I tried unchecking the "sync calendar to facebook option" but they still keep coming. I delete the full calendar using blackberry desktop software, but the calendar will come back in 3 days or so, even if i dont press the back-up option. It is a huge inconvenience to have to delete them all every few days and i have no use of the blackberry calendar for anything.
