Feb 25, 2014When I create a contact, I put in the birthday date, why am I not receiving a pop up notification on the applicable date ? I do not receive any notification?

Oct 8, 2010I do have a new Vivaz Pro. With my old P990i I am used to get a question of do a calendar entry when I did a new contact with birthday date. I am quite disappointed to see than in a new mobile like Vivaz Pro there is this function not integrated. I hope a lot of people would like this function back too. And SE would implement this in a new firmware upgrade.

Jan 5, 2012The birthdays of my Facebook friends that were imported into my Xperia Pro are all one day early.Ii honestly can't recall if it was PC Companion or the FB app that imported all my FB contacts and their information, but the notifications I'm getting on my calendar all show the friend's birthday as being the day before it actually is. Other than this odd glitch I love the seamless integration with Google Calendar, as much as I love my new phone.

May 31, 2010Right from day 1 the display date of my E52 does not update and reflect correct the correct date. Got the phone replaced once still the same issue. Called the customer service and they say there is no such problem with E52. They asked me to go to the repair center...(isnt that ridiculous to ask a customer of a new phone to do so?). I went to the repair center with a hope that they will replace it for me but all in vain. They also gave me a ridiculous answer that Nokia does not have a replacement policy...and I was like so is it Nokia's policy to sell broken and faulty mobiles? I was utterly dejected. The electronic store where I bought also refuse to replace because they think there is a problem and no matter I get it changed it will recur. I still do not have a solution as all my ways of getting this problem resolved are exhausted. Anyone has a solution or came across this issue which can be solved without repairing?

May 11, 2010I have an X6 16GB, which I turn off at night when I go to bed, about once a week I switch it on in the morning and the date hasn't changed from the previous day. The same problem occurs whether I have automatic time update on or off.Also once or twice a week it will download emails with the date 01/01/2000 instead of todays date. I can log into my emails via Outlook Express on my p.c and the date will be correct there.I have software version v20 installed, the same problems still occurred on the previous firmware as well.Any help greatfully received

I have been trying to do this with PC Companion but every time I try it, the software gets to the preparation section and tells me installation error unable to install or start phone software update components. I then have no option but to close the box.I then get another box come up saying the update of software failed. Please try again or consult Sony Ericsson support for assistance at url...I have tried several times to do it through PC Companion but it just will not work.My phone is telling me that the firmware version is 2.1 update 1, I did upgrade it to Android 2.1 when I first got the phone, but I had to do a factory reset of the phone due to an error, which set it back to Android 1.6.

Mar 1, 2011I recently acquired a Sony Ericsson Xperia X10 Mini Pro second hand, and on using the phone I discovered that it still had android 1.6 installed. I want to upgrade it to 2.1 and after scouring the internet for help I installed both the PC companion and the update service on my computer. However, whenever I connect my phone to my laptop both programmes say that the phone is up to date (even though it is still android 1.6). I even used the update service to reinstall the software on my phone, but still no luck.On the Sony-Ericsson product blog, my phone's SI number 1238-0204 is on the update rollout list, so I should be able to upgrade right? I'm using my O2 simcard inside a phone that is supposed to be locked to Tesco Mobile according to the box, but it works fine. Do you think that is why I can't upgrade?

However I just noticed that when downloading the videos I took with it onto my PC, the creation date of the file is no more the date when I shot the video but the date and time when it was imported on the PC.Whatever the way I tranfer the video I lose the right date: either accessing via the Windows Filer Manager or via Media Go.Strangely enough there is no such issue with the pictures, where date and time are the right one.
