I have recently had problems with my contacts on my XPERIA Z3v. I left my phone in my bag while going on a run in the rain for track. I came back to find that I can receive calls but I am not able to make calls or open my phone/contacts app. My vibrate seems to work with the home key but nothing else.

View 2 Replies View RelatedAfter updating to Lollipop, (I had 5.0.1 and no 5.1.1) my phone started doing really weird stuff. For example, two months ago, sensors stopped working in any moment and I had to reset it for normal behaviour (for a few hours or minutes, depending the day). Well, that stopped one day without doing anything dramatic (I did factory reset two or three times). But now it got even worst: the microphone just stop working while doing simple phone calls. I have tested it in whatsapp audios and android testing and everything seems fine... So I have to reset the phone and it works for a random amount of time. I think this is an Android Lollipop issue, but I haven't been able to confirm that. If so, How to manage it?
View 5 Replies View Relatedthe screen stays blank or doesn't change and it doesn't ring noise, it just vibrates, i cant see who is calling and when they have hung up the phone the phone continues to vibrate and the light continue s to flash them the phone is frozen and I have to reset, and after I have clicked the reset button the back screen is very with the option to reset stays up but I'm am able to use the phone for a bit. The phone also turns off on its own. The load speaker isn't working. When I make a call, it doest ring on my end, but the person I'm calling receive s the call, but neither of us can hear anything then the phone freezes.

Everything seemed fine but I didn't check if I could phone or SMS. I just assumed it was OK. This morning at work I realised I could not send SMS or make phone calls. I got my friend to ring me and all he got was my number could not be connected to. I can still use mobile internet and emails. If I make a call it says "Call Ended" almost immediately.
I put my sim into my friends T-Mobile phone and it works fine. It also works in my Virgin Nokia phone. I've tried a factory reset, a firmware refresh and changing the APN settings with no luck.
