Jul 15, 2011I got my phone yesterday via Ebay. I put my Virgin sim card into it and it worked perfectly. I could send SMS and make calls. When I got home I updated the firmware to 2.1.1.A.0.6.
Everything seemed fine but I didn't check if I could phone or SMS. I just assumed it was OK. This morning at work I realised I could not send SMS or make phone calls. I got my friend to ring me and all he got was my number could not be connected to. I can still use mobile internet and emails. If I make a call it says "Call Ended" almost immediately.
I put my sim into my friends T-Mobile phone and it works fine. It also works in my Virgin Nokia phone. I've tried a factory reset, a firmware refresh and changing the APN settings with no luck.

Feb 8, 2011have checked with provider and nothing wrong at their end. up until friday all working fine, no downloads done or anything changed and since saturday unable to make calls or send sms. provider sent me new sim in case it was that but still doesn't work. sim does work (fully) in other mobiles though

The problem is when ever i make a call or recieve a call the battery goes down to single point n the mobile shows the battery low msg n shuts off. Its real pain in **bleep**. It works fine when not making or recieving calls. To my surprise i have observed tht the battery runs out immediately when using idea sim, drains lil slow with airtel, vodafone and satys for 24 hrs with docomo sim inside. Jun 19, 2014While on a call, phone automatically adds same contact in as a second call - the "MERGE CALLS" box opens above keypad. At no time did I do this myself, but perhaps proximity sensor not working and something with the call on my face does it itself. Once this happens, I cannot go back to my first call. Merging calls doesn' t allow me to talk to the first call either. There is no button to UNMERGE the two calls to return to the first. My only option is to end the second call, which ends both.

May 19, 2011OK, this is one of the very few issues I've had, and it is very intermittent. Since September, only has happened like 3-4 times.I make a phone call - or someone calls me - and I can't hear them; nor them me. The green "connection" icon is active in the top bar - as is my DIALER (when I initiate the call - "END CALL" is active). When I call them, I never hear anything - including the normal dial out 'connection/ringing' sounds. They in fact DO get the ringing on their end and answer, but to them it appears as if nobody is on the line.I've tried just a simple AIRPLANE mode toggle, but that doesn't fix it. A Power reset of my phone fixes it every time. Has anyone else experienced this?
