IPhone :: Unlocked O2 3 - Can't Make Calls And Contacts Haven't Been Copied Over
May 7, 2012
My mum has had her o2 iPhone unlocked for me and has received a text from o2 as confirmation. When I put my vodafone si Card into the phone it doesn't appear to recognise it, I can't make calls and my contacts haven't been copied over. Also the cellular data is still o2.
I unlocked my 9530 and everything works great except I cant make or receive calls and so I went through the trouble shooting process from blackberry and I need to switch my active phone number and it said to click on my number on the phone screen and switch to the number I need to be there, well I try clicking on the number and nothing happens so I cant figure out what else to try.
I bought a 9530 and Unlocked it. I inserted my ATT sim card and it won't make or receive calls. I am not to worried about the data plan at this point. I just want be able to call and get calls. Am I missing something? The phone was from Verizon. I unlocked it but when I restore connections, it still says verizon wireless as the network, even with my ATT sim card installed.
Well I synced my phone today, haven't synced in a week or so, and now I have no contacts. The contacts on my phone are gone, so I checked my computer and they are gone there as well.
When I synced it did pop up the window that says more than 10% of the contacts will be changed or anything. Is there ANYTHING I can do to get them back?
This is a total failure as far as i'm concerned with Ituned/iPhone. This is unacceptable.
I have a new I-pone which is syncd with my Apple login but theres no contacts icon on my home scren - to access contacts, I need to go into the phone and use the contacts link there. I have a cntacts icon on my iPad and my Mac, should there be one on my iPhone?
After a recent app/software upgrade I cannot make calls or access my contacts. The other side cannot hear what I say when I call. The contacts list does not populate and it freezes my torch 9800. The screen says I am not on hold/mute.
I have an xperia zip 2, and I am experiencing a problem with my contacts app. It crashed, I have no contacts and I cannot make calls but I can receive them. I closed the app, cleared the cache, still nothing. What can I do?
I have recently had problems with my contacts on my XPERIA Z3v. I left my phone in my bag while going on a run in the rain for track. I came back to find that I can receive calls but I am not able to make calls or open my phone/contacts app. My vibrate seems to work with the home key but nothing else.
I am based in Saudi Arabia. More than a year now, I bought a USA Iphone4 from the market. While updating my phone my set was locked. I had to put gevey sim to make it functional. Once I had to change the sim and my set had stopped functioning again. No one in the market is ready to accept the set for repair. Changing the gevey sim did not matter. All the money on the set I feel has been wasted so far. Is there any way I can make my set permanently unlocked and functional?
My phone will not make calls, but I can still text just fine. I want to make sure if it's a network issue or if something happened with the phone itself. I have never dropped it and I always have the projective screens/covers.
I can make calls but I cant receive all of the calls. What happends is the phone rings then you swipe the screen to receive then there is nothing but the call has been answered, sometimes(not all) I can put on the microphone to fix this but this does nt work all the time.
The person is on the other end and No "mute has not been hit" the only thing i can think of is a loose wire internally or a software problem?? that does not mean its right, hence I am asking?
I jailbroke using redsn0w and unlocked using ultrasn0w. Everything went fantastic until I made a call. I can not hear any noise coming from the other end. This problem is fixed when on speakerphone. It does not matter whether the call is sent or recieved from the phone. Obviously, I would like to be able to use it when not on speakerphone. This phone had no problems in this regard before I jailbroke/unlocked it.
I have a blackberry curve 9360, My friend calls my phone and I never get her call, her call goes straight to voice mail and my phone doesnt ring. But we can text each other. I also tried calling her 3 times, she has an iphone and her phone doesnt ring or show history of my call. Im pretty sure my call didnt go through.
I bought an unlocked Blackberry Curve off of eBay, put my AT&T SIM card in it, and it worked great for about two weeks. Then I ignorantly downloaded a "free theme" and about a week after this, my Blackberry started freezing whenever I would go to make a phone call, the screen just goes black and it freezes until the hourglass comes up and the phone turns back on in about two minutes. Also, if someone tries to call me, my phone will do the exact same thing and they will go straight to voicemail. I have removed all the applications from my phone and done my best to wipe the entire system, but it still freezes whenever I try to make phone calls. It has pretty much stopped freezing at any other times besides when I am attempting to make phonecalls now so there is a slight improvement. Is there any way I can redownload the operating software (even though the phone is unlocked) or what else would be advised that I do?
I have a 3Gs Iphone and I recently upgraded the sofware to 5., however I can now no longer make calls, the message received is 'call failed', all the other finction on phone seem to work fine
my iphone4 will not work unless plugged in and it has no wifi connection and it states it needs to restore to make calls or reicive them, yet if i unplugg the phone it shuts off and wont turn on again even when connected to the computer. i have reset it several times but it wont fix the issue i just get a note on phone : iPhone cannot make or receieve calls.
