Lollipop 5.2 update, pictures and videos taken after the phone becomes corrupted memory card does not appear to carry as files do not appear in my computer. What nonsense that this problem also still had to have the same z1 z2.

am using nokia e5,it was working all well but few days before i tranferred files from laptop to my cell(images) using Mass Storage option by data cable.soon after that images and videos saved in memory card is not visible on phone.test mesgs and music files are visible but phone isnt showing my images and video files which ive recievd through bluetooth and saved in memory card.why is this so?
View 2 Replies View RelatedI have a Sony Xperia Z3 16GB version and Recently I had been to a hiking trip and had used my Xperia Z3 on the trip extensively for photos and vidoes. I have taken as much as 600 photos and few videos of size 2.9 GB. Since the phone memory was getting full, i moved the images,videos using the "Move Files to SD Card" option found under "Settings --> Storage".
The Transfer finished successfully and the phone memory was relieved. Now after this transfer, i can't open any images moved to SD card. They all were moved to "DCIM --> 100ANDRO" folder.
The photos seem to be corrupted. ALL OF THEM
This is such a mess and I tried a few tools for recovering the images. They didn't woork for me. How to recover these photos? These are memories from a Trip which I can do only once in life time.
The jpeg image properties show up the File Size clearly which means that the content is still there but somehow corrupted.
I'm unable to access my videos or music as a message is displayed saying 'not enough memory'. My internal storage says I have used 739MB and have 1.2GB free. My external 8GB micro sd card shows I have 5.6GB available. However, my usb storage says I've used 12GB and have no free space. I guess the usb storage is the problem (unless there is something else) and I would like to know how I came to fill up the usb storage when I thought I was saving things to my external 8GB sd card.how to rectify the problem and also how to manage it in the future?
View 3 Replies View RelatedI noticed when I play a video on my new Z5 Premium Dual, it's displayed a little bit choppy especially when using landscape mode. I tried playing different videos that I recorded in 720p and 1080p all of them are stored in internal-storage.
I tested displaying these videos on iPhone5 and they are playing well. I did reset my device to factory settings and repair it from the computer but with no luck. It appears that all Z5P have this problem at least here in Kuwait. This is strange, I went to the store and transfered one of the videos to other two Z5P devices and the same problem happened. Moreover, the quality of the video displayed on Z5P is bad.
This 4K screen should be awsome but instead of that, I'm getting choppy/lag videos playback.
I have noticed that, I cant preview any images or videos from file manager or any other storage. if I select the preview options like album, photos, MX player or movies it directly take me to the particular app & shows entire album pic n movies instead of particular Videos or images.
I faced same issue while select videos directly from whatsapp or any social network and I was Struggled to set DP in whatsapp, it directly take me to entire album photos instead of particular image.
And another issue is, if I click the new notifications from (Whatsapp, Line, FB etc) notification window, it take me down to the app start page instead of particular notification path/thread or to the particular chat.
How to get rid or fix this? (Android Build - 23.1.A.0.726 - D6502)
Trying to delete vids from my memory card on my 9700 and it won't let me. Anything from the web it won't, but if I make a vid it'll let me..anybody know what's up?

This problem only occurs when I have the microSD card in the phone because when I take it out and record a video, the video is smooth and does not lag. I have restored the phone to factory settings and this problem still occurs. What should I do? I will try to post clips soon.
View 4 Replies View RelatedAfter I upgraded to ICS on my Neo V, I noticed that my SD card was getting full without my doing anything. So I checked out in the file manager app what was taking up all the space and I found that in the DCIM there was a folder by the name of .thumbnails which I thought stores, well, the thumbmnails of course. It initially had 2 copies of every image on my phone and was taking up about 35 MB, so I deleted all the files. No issues there after. But the folder just keeps filling up with as many as 5 copies of every thumbnail, so I have to clear it when I start running out of space. The last time I deleted them, they were taking up about 60 MB of storage. This did not used to happen before I upgraded to ICS.
