My vpn connection doesn't work.
Setup is: L2TP/IPSec with PSK to my private network.
Since my old device (Xperia S), which is on android 4.3.X, is still working. I don't see any configuration problems, but I guess that this is a problem with android 4.4.X
The same problem occurs on my sony tablet z since the update to 4.4.X
I cannot encrypt when setting l2tp on my HTC cell phone, and can not connect to Internet after psk key appended?

1. When I press the button to activate the camera, it will not start the camera app anymore.
2. When I start the (default) camera app manually, it will start, leave the content of the viewfinder black and freeze: I need to reboot the phone because none of the buttons (back, menu, home) will react.
3. Alternatively, after about 2 minutes the frozen application will kill itself (I have no autokiller installed!)
Would uninstalling and re-installing the (default) camera app If yes, how would I get it uninstalled and where would I get the camera.apk to download from to re-install it?
After updating to 5.1.1 on my Z2, I cannot send or receive any sms. All the settings seem to be correct. Also on Facebook messenger, the last message that I send seem to dissappear.

The connection seems OK, the phone gets IP address but it can only ping the router! Any other ping returns "destination unreachable" error. And the really puzzling thing is that this problem does not exist on unprotected wifi networks. Eh. I have checked on several protected wifi nets, none worked, so the problem must be with the phone itself. So far I have tried the Wifi fixer app, but it could not fix this for me. We all need to send texts only but the iMessage is all the two iPhone users can send. We tried turning off out iMessage in the settings section but this was a short term solution. I have been in previous group messages with android users and it has worked however when we attempt to create a new chat window it automatically goes into iMessage.

After updating to latest and greatest android lollipop on galaxy s6, my gallery stopped working, I went to apps, force stopped and cleared cache on both gallery and camera, booted in safe mode and still have problem of gallery stopped. can't find answer anywhere, and Samsung was of no support other than to wipe my phone.

View 2 Replies View RelatedI installed the latest build of the android lollipop developer preview on my nexus 5. All works fine (exept for wel know problems with original mail app and mx player). My problem is that I can't create ANY reminders. If say "remind me in 10 min" i get the popup, but i'm not able to activate it ("V" stays grayed out)...
Even if I go manually via the hamburger menu in google now, "reminders" is grayed out and I can't click it . All works fine for the rest (except for every reboot i need to set the primary default language to English - US every time for google now to work at all)....

The home button no longer works to go home and has another completely useless function (Now on Tap?) when it is long held. Might have value for some people but I just want the home button to take me home. I can't find anywhere how to disable or reprogram it.
Also NONE of the external links are working in any of my email programs or Facebook. When I tap on them, most of them open up Chrome but don't actually go to the correct website - Chrome opens to the Google search or the last webpage I was viewing. Copy and paste does work when the website address is there but links from facebook aren't able to be copied.
I have cleared the cache in Recovery mode to no effect. Multiple reboots have not corrected anything. Uninstalling email programs and reinstalling them also did not work.
