Xperia X10 :: Camera Not Working Anymore On With Android 2.1

The (default) camera app used to work fine. But suddenly it would not anymore:
1. When I press the button to activate the camera, it will not start the camera app anymore.
2. When I start the (default) camera app manually, it will start, leave the content of the viewfinder black and freeze: I need to reboot the phone because none of the buttons (back, menu, home) will react.
3. Alternatively, after about 2 minutes the frozen application will kill itself (I have no autokiller installed!)
Would uninstalling and re-installing the (default) camera app If yes, how would I get it uninstalled and where would I get the camera.apk to download from to re-install it?
For 2 days I am not able to download anything from Android Market. Did any of you have this problem? Internet connection is OK. I was able to download from the Market, but suddenly I can't do it anymore. I think this is an OS problem. I read about in on Android site forum.
My C901 camera doesn't work anymore. When I open the cam cover it just shows cyber-shot logo and goes back to the menu. can some body help me? This happened after I placed in a flash menu file. Placing the flash menu file was a success but when I used the camera it didn't work now. I just bought this. I tried removing the flash menu file, turned the phone on and off, made the latest update, and master reset.
I have my 3 y.o. K750i here. My problem is the camera button is not working anymore. I tried taking off the casing and adjusting the button but still the same. What it does is you cannot go to autofocus then take the shot.It will just go back to the original window. Any help guys? And if I'm planning for a replacement. Can you give me suggestions? I want a simple phone like the K750i but has all the features.
1) the screen doesn't lock anymore; i mean the slide to unlock thing doesn't appear : when i lock the phone the screen just goes black but when it's in my pocket it unlocks itself and start messing around like calling by itself!
2)the central button now only lights the screen; it doesn't go back to the main screen anymore! i have to use the button <-- (back) as many times as i entered in a folder to go back to the main screen..
3)the phone doesn't ring anymore! i can listen to music or whatever but it will just vibrate when someone calls me! also when I try to change the sound level with the side buttons, even if i go max, it will say :Ringer Volume silent ringtone selected
4)the camera crashes as soon as i open it, it's just black as if something was blokcing the camera.. the only option reamaing is to turn off the phone and then reboot!
5)by the way when I press the shut off button usually you have 3 choices : *plane mode *power off *xxxx (i just can't rember what it was)well now i only have one option: power off!
6)Oh btw it has already happened to me a few days ago; after much searching in the internet with no answers i simply did the 'factory data reset' thing and it worked!
Updated my Xperia Neo V with PCCompanion to Android 4.0.4 and when trying to use Skype I noticed that the videoconference works but only with the back camara. I see the other person on the screen but I have to turn the phone around so they can see me.
Front camara worked great before this update perfectly. Looked at a couple of other posts around internet but the only response is to go in the camara options and select front camara... but it isn't there anymore since update.
Rest of the phone seems to work ok, only issue I've found is this with the front camara. Read a post about using: [URL] Haven't tried it but will it affect the phone since it's an English version download?
I bought my Xperia x10i 2 weeks ago and got the manual update to android 2.1 from SE service centre and I rebooted the phone and now just tried using the camera and guess what, it says Camera Not Available.
So I have updated my ray to the latest OS version just during last weekend and there a things that I would leave (like led button sms notification), but there is that thing that outruns all: save path for camera pics is in internal storage, which means I can take, like 3 shots and that's it. I also can't view them with my Xperia Gallery viewer. Can't change save path to SD card.
I know many of us did not buy this phone for its camera capabilities, but given that this is part of the Xperia line, it's disappointing that this phone did not ship with at least the X10's imaging software. Sony Ericsson was content to put their on touch on many areas of the device, yet, they decided to NOT touch one of worst pieces of Android. Would anyone else have liked SE to tweak the camera software? I wasn't expecting Arc-status, but I also wasn't expecting such a low-quality experience on such a "high-end" device.
I updated my mini pro yesterday night. Overall response is fast.Camera application is looking weird with limited functions. The 2.3.4 version of camera application shoots better pictures than the updated camera application. Camera window opens and shows up the visuals as if they are zoomed in by default despite not using zoom in feature.I'm disappointed with this update of camera functions.
Getting MHL working? I tried this with 5.1.1 to no effect (the Bravia TV recognised the adapter but the phone didn't react when plugged in). Should I revert or is there a way to test this? So far I've tried two different adapters - the first wasn't recognised by the TV, the second was - progress! All cables have been swapped to no effect.
I have a Xperia Z3 +. After the latest update of Android's camera my device in manual and automatic shooting mode is out of context and Zoom, I can only use other capture modes and some applications that take pictures.
i have an x8 since december and suddenly my market will not work. it keeps saying " a network error has occured" although im connected to mobile internet and my other online apps are working ie.... facebook and Internet.
Ok so iv been trying to update my x10 all evening with no luck i have the latest companion downloaded iv backed up my data iv disabled my anti virus software still no good. i live in the republic of Ireland and im with the meteor network! im currently on 1.6 android platform! i get as far as step 2(prepare) on the phone software update but it just says INSTALLER ERROR UNABLE TO INSTALL OR START PHONE SOFTWARE COMPONENTS

Since my old device (Xperia S), which is on android 4.3.X, is still working. I don't see any configuration problems, but I guess that this is a problem with android 4.4.X  The same problem occurs on my sony tablet z since the update to 4.4.X
After updating to 5.1.1 on my Z2, I cannot send or receive any sms. All the settings seem to be correct. Also on Facebook messenger, the last message that I send seem to dissappear.
I just upgraded my android to v2.1. Now my phone is working really slow. Touch is very slow, camera is slow, everything is slow. Even I uninstalled all extra apps. I made a mistake that I upgraded my handset.
Suddenly 2day after one year of using Android Market Smoothly, i opened my android market 2day to find this message "android market authentication is required. you need to sign into your google account" and when i check the accounts, it says logged on as ... my Email and account, so i don't know wat to do then there is no signing out and relogging in again .....
I recently up dated my Sony z 21 phone and my camera has since stopped working just coming up with an error message... I am not sure whether the update caused the camera to fail or what...
My camera won´t zoom anymore. As in previous posts, I removed the battery for a few seconds and rebooted...(did the latest update as well).. still doesn´t work.....
In my Xperia X10 mini/pro the Camera Key is not working, when i push camera key there is no action on screen. I have to go in the menu and touch the icon of camera then camera is on.
it's just a 1 month since I purchased z3, but after an update my camera button not responding. Did a factory reset but still not working. Initially it worked. Now if I click during camera mode, just a flash comes on first click and on second long click it does nothing. Really upset and never expected this from Sony. I hope developers r reading this.
