I used my Z2 in pool which was 5ft deep, after making sme videos when i wanted to see them, the touch started to act abnormally. Now as my cell is off, but whenever i turn it on it begains to start using touch automatically. I mean its entering the pin itself, scrolling up and down, diling numbers and bla bla by itself.

Also how do you change between normal text entering and the predictive entering?
I have been locked out of my X10 and can't get in after entering too many patterns. I don't have a google account (If the phone created it's own it didn't tell me) and I can't find a permanent way round it as it doesn't accept the pattern I put in. I've been told to restore the phone via the website however all of the options I can find want me to get onto the phone and mount the phone to my computer which I can't do.

View 2 Replies View RelatedI have had my Z5 for a few weeks, and it has been great. In the last day or so it has started to reboot every few minutes. I've spent today trying to debug it with logcat (through adb).
It looks like as soon as the phone tries to go into a lower power state, it crashes and reboots. I've gone through a number of logs, and I thought it was an issue linked to bluetooth, but disabling bluetooth or going into airplane mode didn't work.
The phone is fine when it is being used, or when it is charging it is only when it is idle for about a minute (or less) and all background activities have finished (such as a sync for an app) does it reboot.
For example, listening ot music or a podcast and the phone is fine for hours. But if I stop it, even if it remains connected to the bluetooth device, it crashes.

Suddenly, out of nowhere, without any obvious reasons, my phone started to enter camera-mode, focusing in and out, and taking pictures.
It does not matter if I use the phone, or it's lying on the table. If I'm using software, or not.
I slept an hour this afternoon, it had taken roughly 50 pictures during 25 minutes, 10 during one random minute, then 1 picture 5 minutes later, so it doesen't seem to be any system behind it.
I believe this also happens on similar 2011 family phones, probably all sharing the same display/screen size, but in a manner way worse: everywhere content is scrolled. I've seen this in the stock browser, in Instagram and similar apps.What happens is that if there is an image on the screen and you change the view by scrolling, the contrast of the image detoriates heavily.E.g. in Instagram, theres the image the user has uploaded and on top of the screen is the avatar of this user. If you start scrolling the screen content, the contrast of the screen changes as long as the avatar is not completely on screen. Like as long as the first pixel row of the content is completely white, the contrast is 0 and if the first pixel row is broken into dark and bright pixels, the contrast changes to -10.This is very annoying as theses are very heavy contrast changes, like complete loss of cloud texture (as taken with a very low spec phone).My active is on ICS, 4.1.B.0.431 but this issue has happened since GB 2.3.4.

The screen on my Z5 has become over sensitive and when scrolling it keeps opening pages or links even when I hardly touch the screen. Indeed while typing this sort paragraph it's taking longer because the keyboard is entering letters for me. I have already rebooted the phone reinstalled software and was OK for a while. But now it's back. Impossible to go on to Facebook as I can't scroll down without opening every link.

Now, when i press the "Home" key of the phone, the screen comes alive with keypad for punching-in the password but the touchscreen is not responding so i am not able to punch-in the password. I am getting calls on my cell phone but i cannot receive the calls since I cannot slide the "green" button on screen to right (which is the usual way to receive the calls). However, on the bigger time and date that "floats" on the touch screen it is still reading 9:43am with yesterday's date which is the 29th of sept. Then when i want to change my phone setting to either vibrate or silent....again, the smaller notification is correct but the big setting that "floats" on screen keeps telling me its on vibrate when i try to change it.
