i was wondering how many touch sensors does the ray have arc has three because i tried fruit ninja with 3 fingers and all of them are detected.can i play tap tap revenge on the ray? because the game needs 3 sensors right?
I had locked my iPhone with my fingerprint and in my absence my friends tried to open my iPhone but as the fingerprint doesn't matched so they tried many times to open it ......So now the fingerprint scanner is not working...
I just returned from a vacation where on the next-to-last day after being at a beach and retrieving my iPhone 4 from a locker I absent-mindedly dropped it into my canvas bag that also had my swim fins and snorkel. They were mostly dry but the bag probably had some dampness (but not "wet").
That night I found that the iPhone would no longer charge. I'd get charge indications/noises but then a popup saying that "Charging is not supported with this accessory" [Dismiss] would come up. After a while I no longer get either of those. The phone still operates just fine; it just won't charge.
I took it to a Genius Bar and they said they saw evidence of dampness inside in one place. However, none of the 4 water sensors is tripped (makes sense as it was not dropped in water). But there is green corrosion on the Dock Connector pins. It doesn't look recent - it looks like it's been that way for a bit(Perhaps I'm assuming that) Maybe the dampness just pushed it over the edge of no longer making a good connection? Should I try the rice-in-a-baggie Poor Man's Dessicant trick just in case? Is there any way to get just the Dock Connector replaced?
I'm new to Android & xoom and being long in the tooth I am enjoying the up hill learning curve. I recently bought a LUVTAB soft case for the xoom which I liked and thought good value but later noticed that the magnetic and orientation sensors weren't working (androSensor app). It took a while to suss out that it was the case causing the fault. With the XOOM 90% into the case all is well, it isn''t until the Motorola logo at the top goes under the case lip that the sensors stop working. So the question is has anyone else noted this effect?
Try this... Hold your phone sideways as if it's in your jacket pocket. Then cover to top sensors of the phone.... The power button wont turn the phone on. That explains why you can't push power in my pocket as I bring it out......
I've read quite a few articles regarding IR sensor beams, and the consensus seems to be that they are not meant to be pointed at the eyes. The moto x has three of them, constantly beaming toward the user's face when looking at the phone, you can see them when taking a video of the phone, even when the phone is in sleep mode. I was wondering of you could turn these off by switching off the active notification feature?
Okay so ever since the last update i have been having trouble with my finger print sensors. After I reboot my phone the fingerprint sensors works fine, but after few hours it would randomly stop working. And so I erased all the data on my phone (Factory Data Reset). It did the same thing. What should I do? I bought my phone on march. So I can not really exchange it?
What is the native aspect ratio for the camera sensors? On the Nexus 6 it was 16:9 on the front but 4:3 on the back. I can handle the front being 16:9, but if the back isn't 4:3 I will be seriously annoyed. I was hoping for a jump to 16mp so this would further hurt my pictures because I would be forced to crop down to 4:3.
I don't know much about modding devices, but would it be possible to replace the Nexus One's screen with a congruently sized screen just with better multitouch sensors? Or does the Nexus One's harware/software not support it, would there be too much wiring, etc.?
I have an xperia z3v with a cracked screen. I am trying to back up things off of it but the touch sensor is randomly selecting things. I have an OTG adapter and am trying to use a mouse to navigate the phone but the touch sensor is still taking me where I don't want to go. Is there any way to disable the touch sensor so the only input is through the mouse?
i have the ICS 4.0.3. i was listening to music when the phones battery completely discharged, put it on charging, and stopped the music, and the touch of the phone went bezerk. older discussion claimed it was a problem with the charger or the current input. but i just started playing music again when it was on charge, and touch is working fine.
GF facebooked messaged me last night after I tried to ring her, saying that since our last call, her phone had seemed frozen and wasn't responding to her touch. It was on the locked screen and she couldn't get it to work. Physical buttons worked ok.I got her to reboot to reinstall through SU, but not joy. So, what's likely to be wrong with it that suddenly, the whole screen goes pop?
I recently bought a Sony Ericsson Xperia Neo V (MT11). I locked the screen using the Power button of the phone. I have set a password for unlocking my phone. Now, when i press the "Home" key of the phone, the screen comes alive with keypad for punching-in the password but the touchscreen is not responding so i am not able to punch-in the password. I am getting calls on my cell phone but i cannot receive the calls since I cannot slide the "green" button on screen to right (which is the usual way to receive the calls). Could you guys please help me make my phone screen responsive again. This is a brand new phone, just a couple of days old and no apps installed other than loaded by the Company itself.
My Xperia Neo L is not even a month old, but it shows a lot of touch problems.the touch operates automatically even when its idle.it behaves weird.Even when i dont touch, it opens any app, does something on its own.
The date and time is Sept 30 2010 at 11:32am. Which i set and is correct and is correct on the smaller clock on top right hand of the screen. However, on the bigger time and date that "floats" on the touch screen it is still reading 9:43am with yesterday's date which is the 29th of sept. Then when i want to change my phone setting to either vibrate or silent....again, the smaller notification is correct but the big setting that "floats" on screen keeps telling me its on vibrate when i try to change it.
Sony Xperia Z3 D6616: LCD broke and I replaced the LCD. When I turn power on it gives me vibrate but can't see any lights on display. After few second, a lady voice start talking like "Siri." when I tap on black screen, it says what I tapped on. Very weired problem.
I used my Z2 in pool which was 5ft deep, after making sme videos when i wanted to see them, the touch started to act abnormally. Now as my cell is off, but whenever i turn it on it begains to start using touch automatically. I mean its entering the pin itself, scrolling up and down, diling numbers and bla bla by itself.
I don't know how it happened but my phone adopted a crack from bottom to top just off center, which seemed to have made 40% of the right side useless. I am scared that if i get just the screen replaced, the right side of the touch will remain broken.
i have been using my xperia z2 for 6 months now.i sent a message to someone yesterday and the next minute my phone didnt respond to touch at all.it's been about 24 hours now.every other thing is working:i charged it,restarted it by removing the sim card ,can see all my notifications, the time is changing ....but i can't use it because the home screen is locked.all other buttons(camera and power button) on the side are working perfectly.
I have been using HTC Touch HD (windows mobile 6.1) and recently bought Xperia X10. I have tried couple of webiste and also bluetooth options to transfer the old mobile contact to Xperia X10 but doesnt work properly.how I can save my old phones contacts to my PC and then easily transfer to Xperia X10.
In the past couple of days, I am having trouble with the touchscreen on my Neo V. It does not respond as well as it did before. For instance, the slide unlock takes 3 times to slide before actually unlocking. The upper notifications bar does not get pulled down easily. And while scrolling, I end up opening something appearing on the screen wherever the finger is touching while scrolling. All this did not happen before. I performed a system test as well, which does not really show any problem with the touchscreen. Restarting the phone did not help either. What could be the issue then?
All of a sudden my Sony Xperia Z3's touch screen is not functioning.I have a non-passcode / 'swipe to unlock' setting on. My phone's touch screen is not recognising my swipe, therefore not allowing me to unlock my phone.
Problem Description I was in a middle of a workout with the MOTOACTV. It was connected wirelessly to my heart rate monitor. During the workout the UI became high latency and almost completely unresponsive. It would take 3 4 presses to the Power Key to get the device to wake up. When device did wake up, the CapTouch UI would not accept any swipe or touch gestures. I finally was able to power the device down hoping for a graceful reset. However I was concerned that I was never going to get to the point of getting to the power down screen. seen this issue on other Android devices and know that there are times when a battery pull is needed due to a deadlock or a process gone haywire.
I just bought the new Nokia 5233 phone.Whenever the phone is locked and I set a alarm. There is no way i can stop the alaram other than to reset the alarm manually by alarms-> edit.
There will be two touch buttons that apper on the otuch screen. One to stop and other to snooze the alarm. Even If press them, it wont work. The alaram keeps ringing. I even tried clicking on the green button and the menu botton at the bottom. Still no use. I cant even unlock the phone. Only thing i can do is press the red button at the end, which will snooze the alarm. After this, I have to manually change the alarm time.
The same thing happens even with phone calls. I cannot use the touch button that apper on the touch screen. I have to use the green and red button at the bottom. These problem come into picture only if the phone is locked. Otherwise it works fine.
All of a sudden, all the touch functions of my xperia x8 went haywire. Now I cannot use it since it only has touch capabilities. I've tried restarting and removing battery, sim card and sd card several times but to no avail. I cannot even turn it off since the off button is also touch key. I have to remove the casing and battery every time I attempt to restart.
