Xperia X10 :: Save HTC Touch HD (WM 6.1) Contacts To X10?
Nov 21, 2010
I have been using HTC Touch HD (windows mobile 6.1) and recently bought Xperia X10. I have tried couple of webiste and also bluetooth options to transfer the old mobile contact to Xperia X10 but doesnt work properly.how I can save my old phones contacts to my PC and then easily transfer to Xperia X10.
So basically i woke up one morning with no contacts in my phonebook when i had about 50 the day before. So i now have no numbers and also it won't let me save contacts either :| i re-add a contact, it says saved, but then returns to the 'add a contact' page.
save my contacts on my PC ? I had problems with the synchronization, all contacts are saved 3 times ! I need to clean it and it is easier if I do it through the PC.
I have Sony X10i.... I have ANDROID 2.1-update1 (India)...i want to clarify following things:1. how to save contacts in my PC form X10i? i am unable to do so!2. if i update the fone to Android 2.2 or 2.3 then all data including msgs, contacts, calender are lost. how to restore them on updated software?
I do not have the option to export contacts to SIM or save to SD card - the only menu option available to me is to import from SIM - I need to save the contacts to my SIM/SD
When I click on the touch screen to make a call and want to quickly find a name in the contacts I have to type in the name onle letter (and a few presses) at a time or open the keyboard. I can't select the 'quick text' option.
Hey guys, Ive noticed when I go to my pictures located on my device I see about 40 extra albums of pics that I did not put there. Most are of friends that I have on myspace. Is the pics being auto saved? If so can I turn that function off some how. I dont want to waste memory on unwanted material.
I have the Blackberry 9700 V5.0.032,I had my email sync with the contacts but then it duplicated all my contacts list when I already had the settings to 'NO' In duplicated names. I found out you can erase the duplicated names by pressing Option -> then press letters RSET --> which deleted ALL my contacts clean instead. I tried to put the names and numbers back into my phone but it wont let me save and so now I don't have any contacts on my phone.
im having a problem with this month ago. I cant save my contacts to my phonebook. Everytime im trying to save it imy phone is just freezing and will turn off.
Im having issues saving contacts on my iphone 4 it wont save the number at all ive restored the phone like 4 times and ive done resetting the phone by holding down home button and power button still have the problem?
I have a 8900 BB. I've had problems from day one with it. I'm on my third one. Blackberry said it was the OS. If it's not fixed, why do they keep sending me the same phone? On the latest one, I can't save, edit, or delete any contacts. I didn't realize it until I tried to put some new numbers in. I also can't send e-mails. I can receive them, I just can't send them. I was told this is the OS too. What if anything can I do? It locks up a lot too. I'll be in the middle of something and it just decides to reboot
I have my partners old 8900 curve and have been using it fine for a year, except that his old contacts were saved on the phone and mine on the SIM. I decided to delete his old contacts so I could copy mine over, I found on the internet that you can use RSET in the contact menu to delete all contacts at once. It worked perfectly but now the Blackberry will not save any new contacts, at all, ever!
It won't copy them from the SIM and it won't even save a contact when entered manually. I don't use it for anything other than phone calls and emails, so it has no apps that I know of.Also I have no software on my laptop to back it up or update it etc, I really only use it to read emails and receive phone calls when i'm not in the office.
There is no option to save a number to contacts from an SMS message.
There is no way to select the number at the top. There is no option in the menu when viewing a message or highlighting one in the list. Infact no-where on the phone is a save to contacts option for anything. Why? This kind of feature was available in the 80s on a piece of rock.
Note - The phone is running the latest software it can. Also I am aware that i can click the blackberry button to bring up the menu, select show recipients and tediously highlight then number, copy, then exit out and open up the contacts app, create or edit a contact and paste the number in. This is 100% UNACCEPTABLE from a 'smart phone', i may as well use pen paper and pidgeons.
I want to save my contacts to a folder on my Mac Desktop. Once you have"backed up" address book using the BB software-you are able to "restore" your contacts to your phone
On the contact-more-settings-import/export page, when i hit export, the phone sends a .vcf file. (to itself) there is no further menu option to save to sim?
It came with a verizon sim but im using it with another sim now. Is this a sim problem? I can make calls and get messages and otherwise the phone works fine.
