Hey guys, Ive noticed when I go to my pictures located on my device I see about 40 extra albums of pics that I did not put there. Most are of friends that I have on myspace. Is the pics being auto saved? If so can I turn that function off some how. I dont want to waste memory on unwanted material.

I've just emailed a picture to myself and retrieved it on my phone, it says 'Attachment saved to sd card as Null' but I've looked everywhere and can't find it. I've also lost my User Guide since updating my phone after a phone prompt, when I try and access it it says 'Cannot find User guide on memory card. The memory card has been removed or the files have been deleted. Are these two things linked?
View 2 Replies View RelatedIn Anna I could find pictures in file management in order to move/copy them to memory stick, but that seems to be not possible in Belle. Also the phone guide tells you can select where to save the pictures by going to Settings - Application settings - camera - Photo or Video. Unfortunately in my N8 Belle there is no possibility to select any folder for saving the pictures. So I can not find the new pictures anywhere to remove them from the phone without using computer.
View 8 Replies View Relatedhad it in my pocket whislt I was walking round, and when I sat down at a restaurant and looked at it, and it was almost like the phone had just died, but the screen didn't light up and the LED didn't flash. I charged it up fully the night before and i know that when the battery is flat it flashes yellow, but it was doing nothing.When I got home i tried charging it, but nothing and then I plugged it into my laptop to try a retrive all of my stuff on there but again nothing!

For some reason I can't send pictures i get from Google or other sites via text messages. I would find the picture, long tap on it, hit save image, and it would download. I can even view it in gallery.

I checked where they are supposed to be stored and everything is right: Media Card/Blackberry/pictures, but still nothing gets displayed! I know its not a problem with the camera, because I can see these new pix if I press menu biutton on Media/explore/media card/blackberry/pictures - but thats so annoying to look at pix this way!!! This phone is like a month old, and I really dont wanna go through the hassle of replacing it. So does any1 know what I should do to fix this problem?

And I prefer using my media card storage for pictures. But if I remove the card and insert it on another device, it will be viewable. I use torch At$t 9800, version 6.0.0.600.

I checked into the my file folder in which opened sd card folder and checked everywhere there were not photos but some files which i opened and it wasn't opening there was written that no apps can perform this action . i switched the phone off and then restarted it no picture is visible. what is the solution ? how can i get my photos again?

Now i cant even delete the pictures that are saved on the memory card. All of a sudden my phone won't take pictures anymore. Well, that's not true, it takes them fine, it just won't store them correctly. On the phone it will just show an icon of a broken picture and on the computer it complains the picture is corrupt. This problem came out of nowhere and I'm really confused. I did have over 500 pictures in the folder, they're gone now, but still the same problem.
Stranger is that if I move pictures to that folder that work in other folders, they'll show up at corrupted too.is this a familiar problem, anyone know what to do?
I recently replaces my old 9900 with a new one . I cannot save pictures on the new device,. I get a message " Media Card is secured by another device. Unable to access encrypted files " Is there a setting I am missing or something I can do in desktop software to allow the save of new pictures ?

Deleting Pictures: Okay, so i am in my Media folder, in the pictures. I select a picture and press the BlackBerry button and select delete. Then it says it is read only, and when i delete it, the icon is still there. I've tried turning the device on and off and it's still there. Figured this one out myself. I hooked it up to the Desktop Manager, and suddenly all the pictures I had taken appeared. I was also able to delete them using the "BlackBerry key" then "delete". It didn't give me that read only option.
Saving Pictures: So, for whatever reason, i can't save anymore pictures. I don't even know how I saved the first 12 pictures i took.. but now it will not save anymore. What the heck happened? xD I have a 2GB card in my phone.. surely those 12 pictures didn't fill that card up... Figured this one out myself. I hooked it up to the Desktop Manager, and suddenly all the pictures I had taken appeared.
Buying Ringtones: On my old LG phone, i used to purchase ringtones from RealTone Jukebox.. where they had snippets of songs that I could download for a crazyhigh fee. Where can i purchase real music ringtones for the BlackBerry? Do i have to make them myself?
Moving Media to my PC?: I went through the Sprint Music Store that came with my device, and purchased two songs. I want to know if I can get these songs off of my BlackBerry device and to my PC. Also, if anyone knows what format they're in (if they've purchased from the Sprint music store before).
Purchasing another Memory Card: Where's the best place to purchase one of those mini memory cards? A friend of mine has like, a 24 gig one.. and i currently have a 2 gig (which, i should mention, is more fricken memory than i have in the computer i'm writing on right now xD) How will i know if the card is compatable with my device?
WTF @ Red Light?: Every so often (it may still be doing this, i'm not sure), the little red light at the top of my device will blink even if i don't have a low battery or any new messages. It first happened lastnight when a friend sent me 3 IMs at one time. I had to restart my device and i think it stopped. Earlier, it happened again (I had multiple new messages) and this time, every time my screen lit up, the indicator was solid red.. not blinking. It may still be like that now, but i'm not sure. My device is in the other room and i'm too lazy to check xD. Why is it doing this? How can I make it stop?
Turning the Camera Noise off?: My device makes the camera shutter noise, even when on silent. Is there a way to stop this?
Auto Keyboard Lock: I EPIC purse-dial people. I see there is a Keyboard Lock button in the BlackBerry Dashboard (is that the correct term for it?) But i want to make it to where the keyboard auto-locks after a certain amount of time. Is that possible? I saw somewhere about pressing the mute button will lock it... is that the button at the top/center of the device?
BlackBerry Key?: Okay, don't laugh, i know i'm retarded. But, the key to the left of the track pad.. what the heck is that called? It's got the BlackBerry logo on it... is it called the BlackBerry Key? I know, I know, i'm retarded and could probably flip through the manual to figure it out.. but still. I might as well ask now xD
Choosing Icons to display on the main screen: When I added an e-mail address, it put an icon on my main desktop, in the row of icons on the bottom of the screen. (where my background picture is and all that). Can we choose which icons we want to display on the main screen? I don't really need my calendar icon there, as I know i won't use it. I'd love to move the Keyboard Lock button there though.. is that possible?

Every time when I try to take a picture with the Blackberry photo camera software, the application returns an error message "could not save picture". I have already tried to configure my settings to minimise the picture size and to set the saving to the media card. Does not work. I have verified that the device is not full, actually the number of pictures and music files on the system is now 0. What do I need to do in order to correct?

I was able to do it before and had a few pictures, videos, and wallpapers, and all of a sudden they're all gone and I can't save any new ones to my phone.
