I am trying NFC file exchange with my Xperia Z2. NFC and Android Beam are activated. When I try to send a photo from ALBUM or a music from WALKMAN, it indicates "READ FAILURE". The other phones are Xperia M2 and LG G2. Both phones can send file with NFC without a problem when I put them back to back. However my Z2 fails To receive or send any file. Is it a software of hardware problem?
View 5 RepliesI have a VZW Bold 9650 and I am having a "random reset" issue with my blackberry. Out of nowhere (often just sitting running no programs) my device restarts itself. Sometimes it just gives me a blank white screen and restarts, other times I get an actual error message in that white screen - but it disappears in 0.1 sec, so there is no way to read it. Because the resets are random, I can't emulate them to try to get a picture for example.
Is there a way to read that error message after the device finishes restarting (like an error log of sorts)?
General advice on how to fix this error would also be welcomed (though I think that if I can read the error message, it will be easier to narrow down the cause). I would rather not do a full wipe since I am out of network for now and will be for the next month or so.
More details: Originally VZW, but unlocked (by VZW) to use with other carriers. Currently. Crazy John's in Australia OS6 All programs work well (though my GPS has been weird and often takes 5 min. to find my location)

I double checked to be sure the adaptor wasn't locked and even tried with another memory card and it was fine with the other card.My 8gb card is new and i formatted it as i put it in my bb. I media sync'd with desktop software and when i disconnected I got the error.

I used the backup and restore application prior to the update and backed up everything. I have the (well documented) problem of "No Contacts - Cannot read from SIM... - My Number" - also, my number "unknown" in Settings->Phone status etc.
The solution, as posted in many internet locations, is to get an old Sony or Samsung and edit "My Number" on the SIM, save and re-install into X10.
I cannot get an old Sony or Samsung phone. When I use back and restore->restore contacts = no success. Also, I tried using the import contacts->SIM Card from phonebook/contacts menu = No Contacts on your SIM card.

1) automatically buzzes and attempts a scan 5x in a row when I press the unlock button then locks the phone and requires pin.
2) does not even show the fingerprint scanner in the diagnostic menu
3) does not allow me to even register new fingerprints - I open the fingerprint software to scan new fingerprints and it closes.

This has to be a software glitch. I've already resetted my phone and same thing.
