I have problems connecting to my ps3 controller wirelessly. Every time I connect it using USB OTG then follow the steps, it says you can now connect wirelessly. But after removing the cable, my z2 cannot locate the ps3 controller. I have followed the steps on youtube, sony support site and even searched google. All have same intsructions. Tried it multiple times but still same issue.

It will NOT connect to my laptop with internet access. When I put the cursor over the network icon it will say connected but it also says "Unidentified network" "No network access". I have successfully paired my z3 to my laptop and once I connect wirelessly everything is fine and I can use my laptop to view all the files on my phone. However the connecting does not keep, especially if i try to move items from one folder to another, it simply disconnects and doesnt reconnect unless I do it manually.
This is preventing me from doing anything that MTP has to offer so it is actually a pretty useless application for me.
I have made sure my phone doesnt go idle during this time so it's not that.
As the gaming platform for Windows are vastly growing, i tried connecting their Xbox controller with their phones and played games with it. I tried to find videos on it but could not find any.

I did a search and found others that have the edge or edge+ saying their wireless charger will start and stop or not charge to 100%, but my issue is different.
Have had the S6 since April. Wireless charger worked fine. Then all of a sudden a few months later I needed to keep readjusting to find the sweet spot. Now, I put my S6 on the charger and... Nothing. Doesn't even register that they are touching. Thought it was the charger, but I just got a Moto 360 and as soon as I put it on the Samsung charger, it started charging in 2 seconds.
I'm not sure if this type of post goes here so I'll keep it as short as possible. I've had my new Xperia for a few weeks and it was already getting cluttered by unneeded apps. So I backed up all my photos and contacts and factory reset my phone. Now my phone won't use its 4g lte capabilities. (My provider is Verizon)

Whilst it pairs and does control the phone, it seems to be random movements as all sorts of random mayhem begins as soon as you press any of the buttons. I'm going to investigate this a little more but has anyone else tried this? I have an HDMI output and the idea of my little phone being a portable games console capable of playing games ike Arkham City is too much for the technophile in me, especially as I travel a lot.

A few days ago the video player stopped displaying the mini controller (play/pause, rewind, forward) at the bottom of the screen and I can no longer swipe to control volume or brightness like I used to. It does this for all types of videos, whether they are my own or ones streaming from the internet. How can I get this feature back? I'm not sure what I did to make it go away!

i actually recorded the processes, both computer and phone screens (desktop capture+webcam). planned an upload to Internet, but would like a solution/tip to accompany the problem. thats why the cdma request, or any software that can access qualcomm chipsets, or similar/usable characteristic. my model seems replaced to have been by newer samsung phones, though if the internals are similar, i'd like to express that to others.

I have an infiniti car, and when I tried to connect my phone to it, only the audio worked (making and receiving calls) and even when I connected the Media, it still wont play any songs. I tried connecting with the USB and it wont pair with the car. It keeps telling me to check the USB connection.

View 1 Replies View RelatedMy new 1020 doesn't seem to connect to my PC. My 920 connects just fine, I plug it in, I hear the USB connection sound and the app pops up. But my 1020 on the same cable, nothing. The Device Manager doesn't even pick up that anything is there, though the phone does show that it's being charged. I know it's not the cable, and b/c my 920 works it's probably not the PC. I'm worried b/c I installed 8.1 on both my phones and technically that voids the warranty. So if this is a bad device, I may be screwed.

That laptop is no more and i upgraded to a new one with win 10 installed on it. This laptop along with 2 others windows 7 completely refuses to connect to my phone. I think i have tried every "solution" but nothing works. My phone is rooted with a custom rom and the fast charge also refuses to work. I need to be able to connect to windows so i can reinstall the original firmware for a warranty exchange. Yes, i have all sumsung drivers installed, i have the original cable (and more), i tried smart switch, it still doesn't work.
