has anyone tried to connect a usb ppt controler to switch slides yet?
i just ordered a micro usb to usb adapter, but will have to wait for it to be shipped to me.
would be great if this would allow for connecting video and then the also using a handheld usb controler with laser and slide switcher!

View 1 Replies View RelatedI have a CK-100 car kit and trying to find a replacement/upgrade charge cable (CA-134) with a USB micro B connector instead of the 2mm that is fitted. The user/installation guide mentions that an alternative USB cable may be supplied but all searches have failed to find one. The alternative is to make up a cable RJ45 at the CK end, I can buzz it out but does anyone have the pin out for the RJ45? I've tried the CA-146 adapter and to be honest it's naff - it runs hot and the output is reduced to the point that whilst running my satnav app the phone will discharge faster than it can be charged, I've also tried the adapter on a standard car charger with the same results.
View 7 Replies View Relatedi do not have an electrical engineering background and in fact know very little about amps, watts, etc. however to understand my power and charging needs for the playbook, i googled. anyone who knows this better feel to correct me.-the included outlet to micro-usb charger provides 1.8amps at 5volts.-the typical pc to micro-usb cable provides around 0.5amps at 5volts.-the typical power usage of a playbook while active and running is 2-3 watts (which is about 0.5amps to 0.75amps at around 4 volts (depending on battery state).So if the above is true, the pc to micro-usb charger will pretty much cover the usage amps or maybe even less but wont actually increase the amount of stored energy (breaks even).The included charger will provide about 1amp of juice to store after subtracting the 0.5 to 0.75amps of usage.but what is the maximum charger amps or voltage which can charge the playbook the fastest via outlet to micro-usb?is 5v the maximum and amps are the limiting factor? or can any amount of voltage and amps be used? i need it to be microusb not the magnetic post cable because my stand uses microusb. the reason i mention usage while active instead of standby mode is because i plan to run a night table clockapp which will draw 2watts but still want to charge the device quickly.

I have tried through Bluetooth and the phone is unable to pair with the controller. Is there any other way to work around this issue and connect wireless. Also will a USB-C OTG cable work with the 6P.

I have problems connecting to my ps3 controller wirelessly. Every time I connect it using USB OTG then follow the steps, it says you can now connect wirelessly. But after removing the cable, my z2 cannot locate the ps3 controller. I have followed the steps on youtube, sony support site and even searched google. All have same intsructions. Tried it multiple times but still same issue.

Whilst it pairs and does control the phone, it seems to be random movements as all sorts of random mayhem begins as soon as you press any of the buttons. I'm going to investigate this a little more but has anyone else tried this? I have an HDMI output and the idea of my little phone being a portable games console capable of playing games ike Arkham City is too much for the technophile in me, especially as I travel a lot.

A few days ago the video player stopped displaying the mini controller (play/pause, rewind, forward) at the bottom of the screen and I can no longer swipe to control volume or brightness like I used to. It does this for all types of videos, whether they are my own or ones streaming from the internet. How can I get this feature back? I'm not sure what I did to make it go away!
View 2 Replies View Relatedfinesse, sch-r810 that will respond at all. i lost web and wap after flashing, called metropcs after a few weeks, and lost voice service moments after that. service could not be found, thought i'd just flash again. a problem occurred that left my phone with no filesystem (i assume), and now i dont think anything is seeing my phone (com ports inactive). ive tried the well knowns that google would offer, bitpim, qpst, qdxm, p2k, multiloader and others, as well as plenty of non-samsung software that i thought/hoped might work (unipst, optiflash, others). just this evening i downloaded sdk tools and weird 'unlock sim' 'secret zone' softwares, nothing.
i actually recorded the processes, both computer and phone screens (desktop capture+webcam). planned an upload to Internet, but would like a solution/tip to accompany the problem. thats why the cdma request, or any software that can access qualcomm chipsets, or similar/usable characteristic. my model seems replaced to have been by newer samsung phones, though if the internals are similar, i'd like to express that to others.

I won't just be able to pop my old regular sim into it. I'm thinking that I will go to iTunes to setup the new iPhone 4 and do all of the rate plan setup and somewhere along the way it will transfer my current phone number to my new iPhone 4's micro sim. Do you guys think this is the way it'll work?A drawback to this new micro sim thing is that I no longer will be able to swap the sim from my iPhone 4 to any old phone that i may wish to use for whatever reason. But I'm thinking that there will be adapters that will work just fine, so that won't really be a problem. Just throwing this out there.
