Want to get a headstart on a memory card for my 9800. All the literature about specs refers too Micro SD not Micro SDHC. Are these inter-changable, It seems tougher to get a high capacity Micro SD?
Please can anybody tell me what is the highest capacity micro SD card that the 8100 will run? I don't want to buy a 16 or 32GB card if the phone won't run it.
This may be a question that we don't yet know the answer to, but does anyone know what the capacity limit will be on MicroSD cards in the 9800? Will is the support the 32GB chips?
I wanted to upgrade the external memory to max on my ELM, but come across some dilemma and would to ask you guys. Are ELM (J10i2) support Micro SDHC version? Coz both SDHC and Non-SDHC pricing is not so different in my country so might as well buy the HC (if supported)
Here are options that I have tried:- Ensuring Back cover is on completely- Purchased new Micro SDHC card- Updated Xperia Play to latest software using PC Companion- Removing and re-inserting card whilst on, and whilst off.- Searching for related issues (None found, except back cover issues).
When the phone discovers the card, after attempting a mount it tells me "Blank or unnsupported card".Being un-able to connect my SDHC card prevents me from playing any games installed on the device, using the camera/video, and installing new programs or games.
I'm looking to upgrade the 1GB Micro SD card in my BlackBerry Curve 8320 to allow more music tracks to be stored. I want to know what's the largest size card that will work in his model? I understand that this is dependant on the operating system version. So I downloaded the latest version of BlackBerry Desktop Manager (version 5.0.1), and this offered to upgrade the OS in my phone. The version on the phone is now v4.5.0.174 (Platform 2.7.0.105). Presumably the 8320 cannot be upgraded to version 5. I've also seen this link:URL...
my first post here. I've had problems with a 32Gb card, don't know if the problem is the card or the "SDHC" standar. If I change to the 8Gb card that came with the mobile everything works fine.If I copy music to the phone via media sync or just dragging files only few of the files appear in the phone. i.e: For a 10 track album I only see 4 songs. Also having problems with pictures or videos, the files seems to be corrupted. Any ideas? I'm using Snow Leopard + Sony ericsson Media Sync. Also tried Saling Media Sync.Vivaz software version: 1224-4699_R2CA026
Does the new Torch use the new micro sim or the standard sized ones? I was thinking of getting the torch and if it uses the new micro sim, I can switch back and forth between my iPhone4
I just got the 9850 and am using the BlackBerry Desktop Manager. I used it to transfer from my Storm and it went well. I have the 8GB card in it now with my music and pictures from my Storm and it works fine. My 9850 comes with a 16GB card. What is the best way to transfer all of the files from the 8 to the 16, either using the Desktop Manager or just through my HP laptop itself (it has the media card slots, including a regular SD slot).

How do I down grade it by a few micro-editions.The reason for this, is that I updated via blackberry desktop. But Blackberry dont have any debug emulators to go with the latest version...Phone: 7.0 Bundle 2406 (v7.0.0.585)Highest debug (v7.0.0.540) So Unless theres some other way to debug, I need to downgrade to that one or previous. It originally came on a version that had an emulator.
How will I get my Micro-Sim from AT&T. I pre-ordered my iPhone from Apple and I have it shipping to my house, how will I get my Micro-Sim? Will it be sent to me by AT&T or do I have to go to AT&T and get one?
I just brought this phone to India. I already have a SIM card in India, do i just get it cut to the mini size or do i have to go to the providers office and get a new micro chip for this model.
So since the iPhone 4 will have a Micro SIM, how will I get my info and stuff off of my current SIM card and put it onto the Micro SIM? I am most likely going to order and have the iPhone 4 shipped to my Apple Store so I can pick it up first thing in the morning. Will the Apple Store be able to transfer the cards, or will I have to go to the ATT store later and have them do it? Also, think ATT would charge me anything for doing it? Thanks Guys.
I am planning on upgrading to the iPhone4 on launch day, or as soon as I can after. However when I am going out and having a few beers I like to take an old phone with me so that I don't need to worry about getting drunk and loosing it.
Obviously with the iPhone4 I will no longer be able to just switch the sim card like I do at the moment. I have searched on the internet and found this product http://www.noosymicrosimadapter.com/cp/html/?39.html
This would be the perfect solution for my problem, but I can't seem to find any online store that sells it. I was wondering if anyone has managed to get hold of one or knows of anywhere that this can be purchased?
I am getting the iPhone 4, but I am keeping my JB'd iphone 3GS to use MyFi to connect my iPad when I am traveling. With the new phone it uses the micro sim, is there such a slot that will fit into the regular sized sim card and hold my micro sim?
I've been wondering about this. So, when I receive my new iPhone 4, I am assuming that it will have the new micro sim already installed in the phone. I won't just be able to pop my old regular sim into it. I'm thinking that I will go to iTunes to setup the new iPhone 4 and do all of the rate plan setup and somewhere along the way it will transfer my current phone number to my new iPhone 4's micro sim. Do you guys think this is the way it'll work?A drawback to this new micro sim thing is that I no longer will be able to swap the sim from my iPhone 4 to any old phone that i may wish to use for whatever reason. But I'm thinking that there will be adapters that will work just fine, so that won't really be a problem. Just throwing this out there.
I sold my iPhone4 to stay with my 3GS. ATT said I need to get a new sim to keep my 3GS since I had to activate my iPhone4 which wiped out my old sim. Do I ship the iPhone4 with the micro-sim or no?
I had an aditional memory card of 4Gb. But now, I bought a 8Gb memory, I know the card is good because I put it in another cell phone and the phone registered the card well. But when I put it in mine it does not register the sd card: it says that there is no adittional memory in tne phone. It once gave an error. But I put it again and it did not say anything. What can I do? why it does not take the card. It is a Mobile
I know with KK 4.4 that there are major revisions as to how apps can relate to the sd card. But, on the phone, can you dl data, jpegs, mp3. files, etc to the card directly? ...and, can you move files from internal to sd using ES Explorer or similar?
I'm using my husbands upgrade to get the iPhone 4 & was wondering if I am going to be able to use the Micro-SIM that comes with it on my line or will it be activated to his line? Oh, & I will be pre-ordering from Apple online.
I have the iPhone 3GS, iPad 3G, iPhone 4 and a micro sim adapter.I would like to use the new micro sim from the iPhone 4 to use on one of these three devices at a time as I choose. Is this possible? I'm aware of the changes to the iPad APN that needs to be made. Also, if the new micro sim will not allow me to do it, can I just cut my exising sim from my 3GS and use on the iPhone 4 instead? Main concern is AT&T detecting and either charging me additionally or disabling data plan on my account.
I guess thats gonna be 2 more chargers needed then... one for the car and one for the office. And when the phone is at the office, it needs to be plugged in at BOTH ends, one for charge, the other for sync.
I simply can't understand what the hell Nokia were thinking about with sticking a Micro USB connection on the phone and then not using it for charging!, especially since they have signed the EU memorandum agreeing to adopting the Micro USB charging standard by 2011. [URL]
Nokia like to profile themselves as green - way to go for adding to the thousands of tonnes of electronic waste thats thrown away in Europe each year...
I was about to buy an in-car charger for my 9630. Since i have an in-car usb port, I;m wondering if I can just get a USB to microUSB cable, connect the phone to the car, and get a charge.
