Jan 13, 2015My wife and I both have s5. Mine, no volume change when connecting via bluetooth. But on her's It presents a Volume changed:headset Plugged/unplugged dialogue on the bottom of the screen and turns down system volume. Which is quite annoying and this thing doesn't need with decreasing volume.
Is there a setting somewhere Im missing to shut this off?
I cant figure it out. My phone does not do this, checked with numerous bluetooth devices, mine never does it and heres does.

Apr 4, 2012One (as there are many) of the big frustrations with using an Apple iPhone and bluetooth is that you have to click through four screens to actually find teh Bluetooth button, and the second screen (after clicking in Settings) throws up 'General' just off screen. This is VERY ANNOYING when you are pressed for time and want to get you car Bluetooth connecting to iPhone (as I do not and will not leave Bluetooth permanently switched on for obvious reasons - personal health and battery drain). SO..... one solution, as enjoyed by most of the other manufacturers mobile handsets on planet Earth is to have the bluetooth function accessible/switchable on the iPhone home screen at all times. YES - that would work nicely like it does for millions of others with Android phones etc
So my question is - can I change something on my iPhone 4S to make bluetooth switch accessible on the homescreen rather than buried 4 layers down like it is is so very annoyingly now? I am guessing the answer is 'no' but I will wait to hear if my current sense of futility about this can be overturned by hearing it is possible.

Apr 26, 2015I've got a 2014 BMW with Nav/BT,
Every time I select my phone as the Music source in the BMW Nav, the phone chooses the last used music source. So, if I've rebooted the phone and haven't used any media players on phone, it opens the Samsung built in music player and plays the demo song that came with the S6.
If I last opened Spotify, the next time I select my phone Spotify auto plays. Same with Pandora.
Any way to select a default and work around this "last used" setting?

HOORAY the car kit works fine with voice dialling as well, using the built in recognition thats standard with the phone.My MW600 headset also works great, (although no track info on the reciever for some reason?) On the issue of the bluetooth car kit, when I activate the voice call with the Nokia Bluetooth control (a long press and audible tone), the screen on the phone doesn't switch on ie. I don't know what the phone is doing, ie the screen remains switched off ? Consequently, I don't know when to speak the contacts name, if the phone mis-dials I don't know ? I also get no audible confirmation of who's number its dialling (wich I used to get with n..ia)Any advice on whether I can address these issues in the phones settings ?
