View 1 Replies View RelatedI've paired my S2 with my portable HP printer but I get the message that it will only work if it's to a Samsung printer.
Is there anyway round this apart from sending the info to my laptop first and then to the printer? I would prefer to go direct (I've tried using USB cable connection but get same message).
I've tried the *#61# but it keeps telling me it can't get a server response...
View 3 Replies View RelatedI have a 2012 bmw 5 series. I can pair the phones but after about 2 minutes it losses pairing. I noticed that the phone contacts never download beyond 3 contacts(I have over 1,000) so I don't know if that has anything to do with it. I called bmw service and they were totally unaware of what to do.
Also media is not supported! When connected texts and music will not show or stream.
I have my car paired with my S2 Bluetooth. The other day I connected the speaker out on the S2 to the audio-in on the car stereo. I received a call while listening to an audio book on the phone. The car muted the audio in and answered the call. I could not hear the person calling. I think the phone was trying to send the sound out the speaker rather than the Bluetooth. When I don't have the phone speaker connected, Bluetooth works correctly.

View 1 Replies View RelatedWhen I put it in the car dock the voice controls work great, and when I navigate the voice from the phone is fine. I have bluetooth built into my car, and so when I enable bluetooth, I can now make calls on the phone using the car's voice controls, and I can hear the calls over the car's speakers, but I lose all voice functionality on the phone. That is, I can no longer speak to the phone and get it to respond, even though it's on the voice-activation screen. There is also no voice from the phone, for example in navigation. It doesn't come from the phone nor from the car's speakers. As soon as I turn bluetooth off, all that functionality comes back.
Any ideas on how to rectify this? I'd like to hear the navigation through the car's speakers ideally, or otherwise, at least be able to hear it from the phone's speakers and have the phone respond to voice commands while having bluetooth enabledSecondary issue: there's no more alert for received text messages when I get one with my Galaxy. My previous phone worked fine, so I know it's not a car system issue. This is less important, but I'm still curious.
i have issues trying to connect my sg 11 to my parrot bluetooth in my van,ive had many phones which have connected no probs and synced my contacts to straight away, even my iphone worked hassle free,i've just upgraded to a nice shiney galaxy 2,which is excellent i must say, just 1 gripe,it will connect to my parrot, but i cant sync my contacts,so no phone book access
View 3 Replies View RelatedA short time ago i upgraded to firmware I9100BUKI1 and today i tried to use Bluetooth for the first time since then to send a file. When the sending was half finished the phone restarted and then it kept restarting once a minute (basically right after turning on).So i turned it off completely and then turned it back on and it seems to be fine. But if i try to turn on Bluetooth the same thing repeats
View 4 Replies View RelatedI got a new (2012) car with BlueTooth. When I initiate pairing, I'm asked for 4-digit code displayed on the car. But before I can enter that code, the formular/screen exits and it says "Unable to connect" on my SGS2. Tried it 10 times with same result. After that it does actually connect (and works) with phone. But the music streaming is not an option. My other car has a Sony stereo which the SGS2 connects just fine to, both phone and music.i guess it's a compatibility issue between ICS BT and my new car's BT. What can I do besides cry at the car-dealer (where he will laugh and tell me to get another phone)?

i have a GSII and recently bought a Lexar 32GB Micro SDHC class 10 to put my music on. I have a Sony bluetooth head unit in my car which acts as my hands free and the added bonus of connecting to my music on my phone thus having no need to change CD's or have your friend be a DJ next to you. This worked perfectly with my previous Sony Ericsson W995 phone however now I have the GSII these two things happen: -
1) I might be imagining it but I think I hear crackling in the music when playing over the bluetooth, might just be my speakers but can't remember conciously hearing and noting this to myself on my old phone and when my mate connects his 3GS iPhone to it there doesn't seem to be this problem?
2) There are definite, noteworthy interruptions in the playback over the sound system however the music hasn't been paused on the phone and so I miss bits of the songs! This is both unusual and annoying as you can imagine!

View 7 Replies View RelatedI updated my phone a few days ago (now ver 4.0.3). After this I can no longer connect my headseth (Plantronics m50) with my phone. It's listed, but I get the message that the password/pin is incorrect, and there's nowhere I can type it either. I haven't changed anything and there's no place on my settings where I can reset or retype password?
View 6 Replies View RelatedI've just got a new SGS2. I've paired it with a VW Passat from 2011. Everything is working fine except transferring the contact list, only around half of the contacts get transferred -- 125 of 205. I can't find out why some contacts get transferred and others don't. Before I had a Palm Pre 2 and it worked just fine... all contacts would transfer perfectly.
I've unpair the connection several times in the Bluetooth settings, delete the connection in the car and pair again but didn't solve the problem. I've also update some of the key contacts that don't get synced, forced a reload of the contact list in the car menu but nothing works.
Since upgrading to ICS, connecting to my car stereo via bluetooth causes the phone to reboot itself. At first i thought it was just whilst streaming music was causing it as i could play 3 or 4 tracks before the phone just shuts down and reboots.
However, today i just had it connected for the phone function only and the same thing happened after 5 - 6 minutes.
The stereo is a Sony MEX-BT3900U which worked perfectly prior to the upgrade.
Carried out the upgrade using Odin3 v1.85 and flashed following one of the guides on the forum. Everthing else appears to be working fine and i quite like the new look etc, but if i can't find a solution to the phone rebooting itself think i will go back to GB.
Is there anyway I can delete the devices in my bluetooth list?
View 3 Replies View RelatedHaving a problem with calls over bluetooth through a Pioneer car stereo with a Galaxy S2. I can make and receive calls ok, and the stereo mutes whenever a call comes in. Call audio is directed through the stereo speakers, but the person at the other end cannot hear me. If I switch the call to the phones speaker they can hear me ok, but this means I have no audio through the stereo. Pressing the privacy button on the stereo appears to have the same effect. I saw one suggestion to try disabling media over bluetooth, and have tried this but the problem persists. I have tested the connection using an iphone and it worked perfectly.

View 5 Replies View RelatedI have successfully 'paired' my new S2 to my Ford Focus audio system, and it makes and receives phone calls fine - hands free. However - the current settings do not transfer my 'contacts' list to the car system. Every time I turn on the car ignition I get a little 'tune' from the phone, and a notification that says (something like) 'Ford audio would like to share your address book' and an option to 'OK' or cancel. If I click 'OK' my contacts are listed on the car system. There is also another window which says 'Do not ask again'Has anyone else had this issue - because I am getting fed up with having to allow the phone and car to share my contacts list every time I turn on the ignition.

View 2 Replies View RelatedThe bluetooth handsfree connects and pairs with my samsung s6 however it won't import the contacts, it keeps saying no contacts found but they are all on the device. The car dealer says it's an issue with the samsung security so I went to where I got the phone from and they can't see an issue and say it's an issue with the handsfree!
