View 4 Replies View RelatedI am sure that this issue has been raised before but it is the one aspect of the BB9700 that is driving me to distraction. What profile settings should i use just to get the darn thing to ring for 20 secs - both in and out of its holster? (I have tried the code to extend the time to 30 secs but it does not seem to work with Orange UK).
I just want the phone to ring like a phone without LEDS, vibration etc. At the moment, I need the hearing of a 5 year old and the strength of a 20 year old to get to my phone before it trips over to answerphone.I am on OS593 and I have tried battery pulls etc. I am also using a ringtune rather than Classic Ring.
I recently updated my Gingerbread S2 on O2 to 2.3.5 and it has lost my ringtone, this must have been a default one as it is not in the backup folder I made of the custom ones before the update. trouble is I can't remember what it was called - I think it was a short two word name beginning with N or M.
it sounded similar to the 24 ringtone (Cisco phone) but was better. if anyone knows what I'm talking about or could send a pack of their tones I would be greatful as it was very distinctive.
I would like to download the Australian National Anthem and use it as my default ringtone.i have downloaded it to my computer and can see it there, but do not know how to download it to my phone.

View 1 Replies View RelatedOn the Galaxy S2 even though the ringtone volume is set to max, initially it starts off quietly and gradually increases in volume. Is there any way of changing this to ring at a constant level instead of starting quietly and gradually getting louder - the number of calls I've missed because of it.

View 1 Replies View RelatedJust got the Samsung Corby Pro through Rogers- tried to use a home-made recording mp3 as a ringtone. The mp3 loaded and plays fine in the phone but when I tried to set it as a ringtone- the message "unsupported file type" comes up.
The other ringtones that the phone comes with are all mp3 as well- just wondering what I need to do to turn my own mp3 into the "supported" file type for ringtone use.
i decided to go Cricket and got this Samsun U340. I downloaded one ringtone fine but now it keeps saying i already downloaded the others i tried to grab. I tried multi sites so it has to be the phone. It says i can replace it or cancel but only thing it shows/can do is hit cancel. I know this phone is not super great but until i get another i am stuck with it. I like to put a few decent tones and a couple wallpapers and would be happy. The wallpaper problem is it shows the image only. There is no option to save it in web browser or gmail email. I tried email with attachment and a hyperlink. I went in menu to see if i can save it but nothing. I used cell phones for about 5 years with non prepaid services. This is the first prepaid i used and wow it is sure limited. If anyone can help me and used this cell and got it to work would be great.

All levels are set to their highest but when I have incoming calls or texts, the ringtones and alerts are barely even audible. I've talked with a Samsung tech person and they couldn't help. I bought one the day before yesterday and it had this problem. When we called they told us it was just a faulty phone and to replace it. So, we did but, we have the Same problem with the new one.

View 2 Replies View RelatedI downloaded a song from iTunes onto my Samsung Galaxy S6. Now, I want to assign this song as my wife's personal ringtone, but I want the song to start at a certain part of it, 1 minute and 35 seconds to be precise. However, my phone only gives me the options of 1) Playing from the Beginning or 2) Playing a Highlighted portion of the song, which randomly selects a certain spot, the same spot and a spot I did not choose, every time I select Highlight.
My question, is there a way to edit this song in the way I have described above? To be exact: I select Ringtone in Settings, then I select Media Storage when a pop-up at the bottom appears saying "Complete action using..." and gives me a choice of Media Storage or Zedge. I scroll all the way down the ringtone list and select "+ Add ringtone," and again that pop-up appears but this time it is asking if I want Sound Picker, Cloud, or Zedge. I select Sound Picker, which takes me to a list of other songs and this is where I have the problem with trying to edit the song.
picked up my S6 earlier this week ..... loving it by the way... how to set a track from play music as my ring tone. I managed to do it on my s4 but can't figure out how to do it on the S6 ..
