I have a problem to set up my hotmail account in the timescape. it always say that my user name or password is not correct. Also, the same message appear when I trying to sign in the MSN live messager. but i'm sure that is the correct username and psw.

I'm trying to set up email but atm its only giving me the option for setting up work email account with a BB enterprise server - I just want to set up a normal email account using my normal hotmail account but i cant get any further along as it asks for my enterprise activation password - which i obviously dont have?
Also - a few friend have gien me their pin so i can add them on BBM, i type the pin and it says contact pending but the person/s im trying to add get no notification that i'm trying to add them - we try it the other way with me giving them my pin and get the same result WHAT AM I DOING WRONG?

Despite registering my device with my wireless carrier by registering under the host routing table and getting a confirmation message, the AT&T bis site is not recognizing my PIN or IMEI (they are entered correct, the error message is that the device is not registered). I have also tried to integrate the Hotmail account through the mobile.blackberry.com site but get a website error (HTTP Status 500, looks like a Javascript error) when I click on integrate my Hotmail account.
PS: The software vesion is 7.0.0 Bundle 1355.

I have contacted T-Mobile and they tried to help me, however they told me, after few tires, that BB does not support Hotmail accounts.

Since updating to 2.1 on my X10 mini, SMSs from my most frequent contact (my wife) only appear on timescape and do not come through as text messages. Every other contact goes through the messaging and gives a notification, which as I only check my phone when notified is annoying. I've tried clearing the content in timescape settings but then I get no texts at all from her until I reset the settings. I've tried deleting and re inputting her contact details but it still happens.

The e-mail account and Blackberry seem to reconcile well except for changes I make to the e-mail account on my PC. These changes are not reconciling with the Blackberry.So, if I read or delete e-mails from the BB, this shows up on the PC. But if I read or delete e-mails on the PC, this is not reflected on the phone. The BB does, however, receive e-mails from this account.I also have another e-mail account connected (Outlook) which is working perfectly.I have searched through the options and can't find anything that looks like it will resolve the issue.

View 15 Replies View RelatedPreviously, all my contacts were taken periodically from my Nokia E71 phone and moved to my Hotmail account.I found no reason for this, although other threads here suggested I disable the contacts option in the email accounts part of my phone.I not only did this, I upgraded the phone software and then imported the phone contacts from the backup I had made in Nokia PC Suite.
Now I need to import the rest of my contacts from Hotmail, the ones which were removed from my phone without my wanting them to be removed.

View 6 Replies View RelatedI bought my E72 3 days ago and the first impression i got was disappointing.The first action you do when switching on E72 for the first time is to set up your email accounts. Remember, E72 is Nokia's top email phone!I chose hotmail. I enter my email account and then my password as requested.And the next screen i get is nothing but the previous one!!!The same happens with Yahoo accounts.I found a way to work around the crash and set up my account through the "other" tab available on the wizard.I am really disappointed that i have changed my beloved E71, to get an even more proffessional solution that in the end needs a total update to set up our emails.There must be a solution in the next software upgrade and must be installed for free in all Nokia's stores.

I've gone into email settings and put in my hotmail.co.uk address and my password but I just keep getting a message saying Invalid email address or password.
